Was it really a missed block by Brieda as Miyagi pointed out he went hot route? -

Its not like the other backs have been flawless blocking. Brieda can score and that matters too. -

They're nuts if Brieda isn't active, just nuts. The guy got in the EZ twice today, fumbles happen. Leave one of your other useless ST guys inactive. -
No, but my hottie and me will be watching on TV.

I just stumbled across this troubling trend with the offense: (starting with game 3 vs. Washington) PF: 43-40-38-31-26-6 Yards: 481-450-436-417-351-301 And the defenses they've face (with rankings vs both) WSH 28/29, HOU 30/28, KC 24/26, TEN 14/19, MIA 27/30, JAX 26/24 Downward trend vs. 5 Bad defenses and one middling. I said earlier I'm didn't think the league has us figured out. Not sure I believe that anymore. I've been saying for a few weeks now that we are relying on Allen too much. That much is true, just like KC with Mahomes. They both have covered for the Olines, but the schemes they're seeing now are causing both to try and do too much.

I'm assuming you mean 6 instead of usual Bills alignment of 2 Tackles and a Center with no guards....Oh wait😜

0.22 Yards before contact in the running game.

Seriously Dude, no one has said that, but we had Super Bowl aspirations until this line took a ***** this year. -
It seems that our identity on offense has changed
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to Billever76's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kinda sounds like KC doesn't it? When the line breaks down it will eventually all break. We've become over-reliant on our QB, just like KC. I'm not convinced that even if we scheme up a good week this week, that it won't be a roller coaster the rest of the way. -

I guess he thinks he's not good enough yet. Which when you think about him not being better than Ford is downright scary. I hear alot of blame going around, but I don't see these names enough. The OL has impacted the whole club negatively. -
A couple of names we don't see enough of in regards to the failed OL Bobby Johnson, Brandon Beane. Just sayin...

Does Bobby Johnson deserve blame for where the OL is right now? Does our golden boy Brandon Beane deserve any? I say YES -
Give Allen some credit for his play today
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
We have gotten like the Chiefs and become over reliant on Allen. The Oline problems have been hidden largely due to his play. Now we're stuck with a problem that isn't fixable in season ( as far as SB that is). -
Losing enthusiasm for football
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think for me the biggest problem after this loss is I now realize we're not good enough. Many of us had SB aspirations, but it's not going to happen because the OL problems have been exposed and can't be fixed right now. -
The poor Oline play has impacted the whole team in one way or another.

Quentin Nelson is pissed he isn't get the ball enough

Breaking News: Odell Beckham is set to be released
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just heard Keyshawn talk about this, and if OBJ thinks anything like that dude we don't want him. The logic these guys use is so warped its laughable. You'd swear all that matters is he gets the ball, and the team is secondary. No thanks. -
You're missing my point, It's not that there was something specific I wanted done. I've suspected all year long the OL isn't good enough, and this was just hoping Beane could pull a rabbit out of his hat. I could be wrong and the OL plays great and we win the SB. Or it could be that he (we) come up short again. Unlike you I'm not satisfied with just being good for 15 years.
-
I'll admit it I'm disappointed. I feel like we're strong enough everywhere except the Oline to win it. This seasons SB also seems like its there for the taking. Hope I'm wrong, but I have visions of a playoff loss with JA running for his life and no rushing attack. Sorry that's not what I want either. Hope Beane proves me wrong. Its his job to build a SB winner and it's not just the trade deadline today either. Our line being good enough is a mirage IMO and today felt like the last chance to improve it. So shoot me.

Has league-wide officiating gotten worse?
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah it's just like everything else that you see in the world. It smells bad, but eventually olfactory fatigue sets in and you move on. The choice is tune in or tune out. On a scale of 1-10, it may have gone from 1.5 to 1.0. -
What team scares you the most?
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tampa without a doubt. Can't run on them. Brady, OL and receivers are tough matchup for anyone. We'd need to be able to block them in pass pro and outscore them I think.
