  1. Great points! I'm a huge baseball fan as well and have followed how the better organizations go about their business. They are aggressive and don't look over their shoulders. As you said, last years bad move, if its not working then they move on. The rub in all this is giving things a chance. Pundits always seem to misdiagnose problems. Continuity applies more to when things are going well then you don't try to fix it. Rex will have 32 games in and that is not a small sample size to see progress in the NFL. If we were trending upward like Miami is I might feel differently. Good post.
  2. No kidding! That never made sense to me either.
  3. I agree about the Wonderlic. And, I agree with Tyrod not processing and lacking the vision. What I don't agree with is people who say he stupid because of the wonderlic score and then go on to say it is a different era and you can't be a dummy anymore. And, also go on to that there are no great QBs who score low on the test , then ignore that Carr scored 20 and Cam 21. This is the definition of confirmation bias.Meaning I think Tyrod is dumb and a bad QB.. oh look his wonderlic is low. I'm right.
  4. You do realize that Derek Carr scored like a 19-20 don't you? Oh and Kapernick scored around 40.
  5. I have a feeling we are all going to be disappointed today. Rex probably does his press conference. Says we didn't play very well and need to do a better, and Tyrod did't play that bad, and the defense is better than last year, and we are going to win the last 3 games. Then we of course go 9-7 and Rex argues he deserves to be back because of the steady improvement.
  6. Yep. I wonder how this team would play with competent coaching and medical staff.
  7. Thanks for that! People need to realize it's not anything more than that. The kicking game sucks, the defense sucks and the offense sucks. Now fix it by firing the people who created this mess!
  8. Phil Simms is consulting with the Pegula's!
  9. It all starts with firing the HC. Can't happen soon enough.
  10. We have a winner! We all have lost at least 2 years of our Bills fandom playoff dream because of this buffoon! He never appears serious, and his team plays like it. I have a question. When was the last time anyone can remember a championship coach who was a clown 24/7. Answer- NEVER!
  11. Three and out % on offense has nothing to do with hurting your defense! I checked and it has MINUS.2 to MINUS .3 correlation with the defensive stats (yards, Points, Yds/play, Expected Pts allowed.) As a matter of fact, the five best teams at avoiding three and outs have an average D ranking of 27th. the 5 worst-average D ranking is 16! When you think about it, makes no sense,if your D is great at three and outs it doesn't necessarily make your offense perform better.
  12. Don't forget the other possibility-they lose all 4. Probably won't happen, but not impossible. Here is a scenario, they lose to Pittsburgh and are eliminated, come out flat against Browns and get upset, 2 divisional losses follow.
  13. Watched them both and it's not close, Kyle Williams is much better.
  14. The answer of course is about 50 guys could do a better job than Rex- probably more.
  15. Don't forget the kicking game too.
  16. Yep. And Rex has won between 6 and 9 games 75% of his 8 year NFL HC career.
  17. This team is flat out not good enough. I've been a supporter, and I continue to believe that you give them a chance to succeed. The chance has come and gone IMO. Tyrod has missed too many receivers, and you can't win that way. The defense can't slow down a good QB enough to win 3rd down, win the red zone, protect leads or come up with big stops after the offense scores and maintain momentum. The kicking game lets us down when we need it. The medical staff, for whatever reason, can't seem to get it done. And, most of all the coaching staff, can't get it done I also question whether our President doesn't have too much say in how the organization is run. They lost me yesterday.

  19. I've concluded that none of it is good enough, from the top down!
  20. For me it's Michigan under the scenario , HTH win does it. The title is meaningless because Wisco didn't beat the 2 best teams from the east OSU and Mich.
  21. Thanks for making exactly the point. If POTUS can take a day from his job for childbirth then Charles Clay can too. As for illogical takes I think you are the one with the issue. I'm moving on man. Good luck to you in your world.
