Just heard them talking about TB target being Minkah Fitzpatrick or Derwin James on NFL radio. I think that number 7 is where it starts for the Bills, then obviously the Bears.
We are behind Miami at 12 and they may very well take a QB. We need to move up and I don't think the Colts want to move down to 12.
It has be to 7-8-9 I think. Even for Roquan or Edmunds.
The Cardinals are a problem as well.
The number 12 is a huge problem for us. Teams like the Colts, Giants and Browns have not wanted to move that far down. To me it is betwixt and between.
I loved his deep ability in college, but I'm wondering how much of his game translates to the pros. Remember, he's not that fast or big, and he's shown dropsies this offseason. DJ Moore or Anthony Miller are better fits IMO.
I hate the 12th spot if we aren't moving up. I don't think Smith is there anyway. You'd have to move up again.
The Blue Chip guys are gone because there are maybe 6 and you end up over drafting guys like Rudolph.
The staying at 12 is a "hope someone falls to us" strategy.
No its actually not like that at all. The franchise isn't going out of business if the draft doesn't work out. We will still play again, being wrong or unlucky in the draft isn't a death sentence. It has happened before and your analogy is just more hyperbole.
This^^^^ I have become pessimistic about the draft trade up otions. I think the Jets outmaneuvered Beane. May have to play ourselves into a franchise guy.
As depressing as it may be, we are not in a great position to land one of the Big 2 at this point. The next question becomes do you try and trade up in the 7-10 range and draft Allen or Mayfield- if they are even there. We are in a pickle. Have to have a dance partner and I'm not sure we are wanted or needed.
Yep everyone seems to assume the Browns want more picks. I think we are shutout unless we get to 2. And, it ain't looking good.
So tired of this BS narrative.
Why does the NFL go down this path every few years?!!!!
Draft the guy after the first round if you want a pet project....which is what he is. All these goddamn contrived stats to say he's really more accurate than the film shows. SMDH
There is a clear demarcation between the big 2 LA guys and the rest at this point. Dorsey, Gettelman and McCagnan can't/won't risk taking Allen at the top. If we don't trade with Giants were aren't getting Darnold or Rosen. JMO
