  1. My son met Pete Carroll recently, he said anyone would want to play for that guy.
  2. Cutting McCoy was absolutely the right move!
  3. Good job, pretty darn close to what I think too. A couple little tweaks for me. Still think Zay gets traded and Duke makes it after listening to Beane.
  4. Is he really a RB who can't run? He averages 4.0 carry, the key word is Average!
  5. I think we need Yeldon with 2 older RBs, and a rookie. If we keep him he'll come in handy as a receiving back down the road as well. Good player I hope they keep him.
  6. Scott Law? He was hoping for 2 or less and was stuck being overly optimistic!
  7. Is it me or has the size of leadership councils grown?
  8. He has better hands when holding the balls for him.
  9. You realize that Allen is completing 64% of his passes in preseason and averaging 7.8 yds/att....that is an improvement. He still a young QB with what 11 starts. Going to make mistakes and have ups and downs. And, as to Barkley, his numbers would drop markedly if he were starting these games against the other teams better defenders.
  10. Of course Peterman, he is a bonafide NFL QB!
  11. Second half about the receivers for sure.
  12. Where the hell is Foster tonight?
  13. Duke, Mackenize make the team tonight. No Mccloud though
  14. You mean other than finishing better than the Jets by at least 2 games in the standings the last 3 years. Or, making the playoffs of which the Jets haven't gotten a sniff of. And, BTW didn't we outscore them 64-37 in 2 games last year and outgain them 817-443. Don't tell me that they should get credit because you believe the QB has better mechanics.LOL There are plenty of reasons why the Bills deserve to at least be considered equal to the Jets. I keep seeing Jets with an over/under win total of 7.5 and Bills with 6. Remember the NEW YORK MEDIA IS OVERHYPING THIS TEAM!
  15. I've never gotten all the love the Jets have received this preseason. We're better than they are and alot of praise has been thrust upon them. I mean what the hell have they done?
  16. It's the same thing it always has been for some of the so-called experts. They didn't like him coming out-and after all its all about being correct and giving their egos a *****! News for you guys, this kids gonna be good and we know who you are!
  17. The goal should be to make the officials invisible IMO.
  18. What you don't like watching a review of a 5 yard pass to the sideline in the first quarter like Rex did? <sarcasm>
  19. my personal wish is for "off the charts" to go away I mean we must need a chart because everything is "off the charts" hyperbole at its worst
  20. Interesting, and this kind of sounds somewhat similar to what I was thinking as well. The great Bill Walsh once said that rushing atts. plus completions were important to him. I believe he was referring to getting the ball in the hands of the playmakers. Some background stats from the last 5 yrs. I've researched: Over this period the Bills have averaged 29.5 rush/atts./game, the league has been 26.4. Yes of course we are running team, but we had only 18.8 comp./game, where as the league was 22.1/gm. Totals 48.3 atts+comp/gm. vs league avg of 48.5. Now our divisional rivals from the coast: 27.9 rush and 24.1 comps for a total of 52.0. Interestingly, the one year the Pats didn't make the SB and lost to Denver, the numbers were slighty above average at 49.2 . They are typically at 52-53. Their playmakers get an extra 3-4 chances a game to make a play. So, I'm thinking with an increase in accuracy due to the offseason improvements on offense, fewer drops and increased experience by Allen that we can add 3 more comp/gm. I believe getting the ball in the hands of our playmakers those extra times can only help. How many times did we drop a pass that could have been a first down that keeps the drive going and leads to points. Finally, at 12.5 /comp (last year 12.3) and 3 more comps for 16 games it equals an improvement of 600yards. I think 3500 yards or around 220-225 yards a game is a reasonable expectation.
