Bad spot.....

This defense is built to stop the pass. Most weeks in the NFL, you can get away with that in a passing league. But, when you run into teams with big, powerful strong running backs with a team that loves running the ball, your personnel becomes physically over-matched. This is exactly what is happening right now. We need to have some guys start to win their 1 on 1 battles because they are getting beaten across the board,

You have 4 downs from the 1 foot line..... You have a 6'5" 240lb QB. This is not rocket science. If you can't get a foot on 4 QB sneaks with that situation, you may as well just go home. Oh....and if you are going to run it, have your best RB in the game who scored like a million TDs in college. Stop trying to get cute.

Only thing I can think of was that he was on the team a bit longer and the staff may have felt more comfortable with him for that reason. But I think those of us who knew Taylor were pretty disappointed that Peko got the call first.

So, the Bills could have had him, but chose not to...... OK then.....

He is not talked about a lot on here because many probably don't know who he is, but we have a guy named Vincent Taylor on the practice squad who is a dominant run stuffer. He came over from Miami a while back and has some games under his belt and is a supreme run defender. May not have a complete game yet, but right now, we need a plugger in the middle. Phillips is greatly missed in this defense and Peko and Star just can't get the job done. Not saying this guy is the answer, but I'd love to see him get a shot. The last DT we got from Miami is sure working out well!

One thing is painfully obvious today........ As much as we need a true #1 WR, this team needs major help at DT. Lots of stuff to get done by Tuesday id they want to make this year into something.

Just think..... We haven't even gotten to our worst quarter yet! We always get destroyed in the 3rd quarter, so expect it to get even worse.

I know some were intercepted, but I miss the Josh Allen that wasn't afraid to throw it down the field.

Guess it was a mistake to start Singletary in fantasy today. I was convinced he was going to go off today, but Gore is getting the carries. They're not even giving him an opportunity.

I say he gets his grits sack. If Rosen was starting, I would have predicted him to get 3. But, he should still get one.

Nope..... Forward pass and it's not close.

Look....I mean this as no slight to Josh. He's in his 2nd year and still growing. But right now, the Bills are a very good QB and a WR away from being Super Bowl contenders. We have everything we need on defense. We just need to find a way to be able to put up more points and an above average QB and a true #1 WR would put us in the conversation. My hope..... We trade for a very good WR and Josh makes enough progress over the next 11 games that he becomes the QB we need by the time the playoffs roll around. Truth is, I think we are 1 more great off-season away from being a true contender for a few years in a row.

Defense bailed out some horrible play calling. I want a FG here, but at the very least, you need to bleed the clock for 3 minutes. and force them to use their TO's.

All we needed was 30 yards and we're going to go 3 and out with no time off the clock. Terrible!

Gotta find a way to put this game away because the Bills are going to be spending the Bye week in the hospital.
