  1. The worst part about this draft to this point is Miami having 2 more picks.....
  2. Denver gets some help on the other side of the field. Good WR combo there now.
  3. A 4th round pick to move up 1 spot and a 7th.....
  4. NFL Draft Diamonds @DraftDiamonds NY Jets select Mekhi Becton
  5. Jets probably going WR. Tough spot for them in some ways because the WR class is so deep. You have a good chance of finding a WR in the 3rd this year that could be just as good as any in the 1st by the time it's said and done. Maybe knowing this they wait and take a big man. Who knows.
  6. I know he's got some ability, but with his health, etc, I'm not losing sleep before playing him.
  7. Sounds like it's Tua according to Twitter
  8. If they take Herbert, I definitely am fine with that. Don't dear him at all.
  9. The Dolphins will probably take Tua here, but I am not convinced they are 100% thrilled with it. With how hard it sounds like they tried to get to #1, I am guessing they see a huge drop off from Burrow to Tua. So, they may take him, but I don't think they are completely sold.
  10. The Lions better hope that Stafford stays healthy. His injury is no joke. This season will go up in smoke quick if he goes down again. They had a perfect chance to trade down and probably still get the same player. Not bright if you ask me.
  11. This is so ridiculous that they are taking the full 10 minutes. Just awful.
  12. Been watching a lot of him the last few days in getting ready for the draft because I firmly believe the Bills will be taking a RB with one of their first 2 picks. I like this kid a lot. I know he comes from a smaller program, but with RBs, that doesn't bother me as much. I think vision is the most important trait in a RB and, if you couple that with the right physical tools, you can play RB in the NFL, or at any level. A hole is a hole and if a RB can see it, and then has the physical ability to get to the hole they see, then the school they go to doesn't matter to me. In this case, Evans looks like he fits this bill. Has the good lateral quickness to get to the small cracks, and then has a 2nd gear to get break away from the defense. While he may not be the perfect compliment to Motor as they seem to have similar vision, this guy has the breakaway speed that Singletary doesn't. With all that said, I would love if ths Bills picked this guy. Him and Motor, while the styles may be similar in some ways, would work together really nicely.
  13. We just got a better WR at roughly half the price..... Keep on rollin'.....
  14. Trusting Allen is working diligently on his deep ball this off season. Hope he gets it fixed because with Diggs on one side and Smoke on the other, he'll have plenty of opportunities to hit it. Get after it, Josh.....
  15. IF he is available, and that's a VERY BIG if, the price tag is going to be astronomical. You're not just talking #22. You're talking this year's first, next year's first, and probably at least another 2 or 3 on top of it. You're talking about arguably the best WR in the league. You want him, you're going to have to pay for him. And that's if this report even has some merit to it.
  16. It was a TD. It has been confirmed by multiple people both in the league and not that it should have been ruled a TD. The same exact play happened in Clemson and it was correctly ruled a TD. There is no debate about this play anymore. We got screwed. Was he giving himself up? Yes. Did he do it by the letter of the rule? No. Plain and simple. But multiple officials have stated it should have been ruled a TD regardless of how stupid it would have been.
  17. I am really hoping the Bills come out of the draft with 2 of the guys on this list. So much talent. Now's the time to double down and try and solidify the WR position for years to come. If it's me, I'm taking a WR with 2 of my first 3 or 4 picks depending on how things fall and am really happy with things.
  18. Until he actually hits the field and we can see where he is physically and mentally, it's hard to project him. If he shows up ready to go and has a good handle on the playbook, I do think he can compete for a backup role out of the gate, probably play some special teams, and then we'll see from there. But, as of now, we have no clue what he is at the NFL level because we don't know where he is physically (or mentally).
  19. This has been a pretty entertaining game! Hoping for a good finish!
  20. Very true, but most NBA and NHL games do a 1.0 or slightly less. This is about creating enough of a demand to get a rights fees deal in the next couple years. A 1.5 average would be solid for them. Have to wait and see what happens. Holding out hope that they can make it. I can't watch every game, but I like to know that I have some football to watch if I do have the time.
  21. Despite the dip, those are still pretty good numbers. As long as they can consistently do a 1.5 or better, they will be in great shape. We'll find out in a few weeks if that is going to be a possibility.
  22. If they can come in at a 2.5 next week and stay hovering over a 1.5 each game for the entire season, that will be a huge success. Great start and the games did nothing to make me not want to tune in next week. They did a lot of good things.
  23. Well deserved.... I believe he has become a better coach each year he has been here. Seems to learn from things and is making better decisions in his 4th down management. Still has to work on his clock management and challenges, but there is rarely a week the team isn't prepared and doesn't give their best effort. I think he gets the most out of the talent he has to work with and I'm really hoping he coaches more talented players next season. Hope he wins.
  24. The eyeball test says he was a pretty good pass rusher, but while he did make a lot of plays on his own, some of the sack production he had was the direct result of someone else pushing the play and Phillips finishing it up. Also, in my opinion, for someone his size, he was pretty bad against the run. I know it's not a popular opinion around here, but I am not re-signing him for anything more than 7.5 at the very most. I think he is a 6-7 million dollar player. I think there may be a team or 2 that looks at the sack numbers and overpays him. I don't want to be that team, especially with Horrible Harry coming back. He was our best lineman when he was playing early.
  25. Not that he has been great while getting a chance to start, but he's gotten a pretty raw deal if you ask me. Two terrible organizations with absolutely no chance of winning with a young QB. I'm not sure what will end up happening to him, but I do hope that he ends up in a good situation on a good team where he can backup for a couple years while working on his craft. All that said, while it is still way too early to tell, there is a good chance we're the ones that ended up with the "right Josh", but we'll have to see how it plays out.
