  1. The "fake spike" comparison was spot on. Also, who knows if it would have been a trick play? Give the safe signal, walk it slowly out of the endzone, and take off and run it back for a TD. Fact is, the "safe" signal is NOT a legal NFL signal and the Bills were ROBBED of that TD and probably the game. Common sense should play no part in what happened on that play.
  2. Allen seriously made some great strides this year. Does he have a long way to go? Of course. But nobody can doubt his passion or will to win. He wants to be great and it shows. That's an important trait to have and I am not sure every player in this league cares like he does. He was not great this year. Ball security, lack of touch on the long ball, and still forcing plays he shouldn't were all big time issues for him this year. But, despite all that, if you can't see the improvement from year 1 to year 2, you're not looking hard enough. If he can make the same jump he made this year from year 2 to year 3 next year, he's got a chance to be one of the top 10 QBs in this league next year. It's on him and the coaches to get him there, but I have no doubt he'll put the effort in to get there. Whether he is capable of doing it, who knows, but he will do what he can to get there.
  3. It's real simple...... By NFL rules the way they are written, this was a TD/Safety depending on if it was considered a fumble of illegal forward pass. By any measure of common sense, this was a touchback. I know, and most everyone knows, what the guy was doing, but, BY RULE, that should have been a TD or Safety. Regardless of how stupid it would have been, the Bills were robbed of points.
  4. Look.....I'm not going to speak for anyone else, but this just isn't "a game" for some of us. It means more. But hey, I'm glad you can look at it that way. Probably a lot easier to deal with losses feeling like that. Me, and others like me, will be feeling this until opening day or at least the start of the new league year.
  5. Still hurting pretty bad, but man, watching the Patriots* lose at home to the Titans lifts the spirits a bit! Bills consecutive Super Bowl appearance record still in tact!

  7. It was a long time ago but, as mentioned, this feeling is the same one I had 30 years ago after watching Ronnie Harmon drop that TD pass in the playoffs. Hopefully the sustained success that followed that season will follow this one. That 89 team was young and talented and you could see good things coming. This team has a lot of young talent as well. Still need a lot more play makers on the offensive side of the ball, though. Just so frustrating.
  8. Not blaming the refs by any means as we had every chance to win that game, but that phantom blindside block call may have cost us that win and that hurts. Just a brutal call. Throw that on top of an obvious missed delay of game call on Houston in a key moment and it's just rubbing salt in the wound. But man, it's extremely frustrating to waste so many opportunities. Should have never come down to that. Tons of money/cap space and draft picks to get some more talent on offense and to fill a couple holes on defense, but next year just seems so far away. Reload and come back stronger
  9. Unfortunate;y, it's looking like we may need one of those Josh Allen game winning drives after all. This is so frustrating to watch.
  10. Bad mistakes a bad times might come back to haunt us. Can't take those killer penalties.
  11. Allen has to keep more of those read options. He would have had an easy 1st on that last one.
  12. They really need to stop this Frank Gore crap.
  13. Offense needs to put a drive together here. Would love points, but we at least need to flip the field somehow.
  14. Thanks for choosing to punt inside the 40, Houston!
  15. That play hasn't been overturned all year. I bet it will this time.
  16. It sounds like a home game..... Bills Mafia is bringing it early. Defense just needs to make a freaking play.
  17. Man....I've missed feeling this way. LET'S FREAKING GO!!!!!
  18. If you believe anything that these players and coaches are saying ahead of the game, I am not sure what to tell you. You actually think they would be giving away their plan in the media? Now, I am not saying that Tre will be on him for every snap, but if he is not on him 80% of the time, I'd be shocked.
  19. We gonna run this decade! It all starts Saturday! LET'S GO BILLS!!!!!
  20. We have an "out" with both Murphy and Star's contract this off season from what I remember. We can even get out of Kroft's deal if we want to. Combining that money and the $90+ million we already have in cap space, a big signing like this is more than doable..... In fact, this is the exact type of signing the Bills need.
  21. Please Jets.....I beg of you..... NEVER fire Gase!!!!!
  22. Why wouldn't they go for it? Thanks, Jets!
