  1. I would HATE this.
  2. He showed he can run straight as well as anyone. For sure.
  3. It is Gilmore or White in my era (since 2002).
  4. Yea that makes sense too.
  5. I love his tape, probably because it so fun and unusual. But my original grade which was a low 2nd has been modfied down in my second go round of tight ends. I have somewhat reluctantly moved him down to a mid 3rd and TE4. But in every class you have guys you just actively root for. He is one of those for me this year. I see him as a time share tight end in an offense where the #1 is kind of all athleticism but questionable production. Fannin matched with someone like that could be a productive duo. Seattle (with Fant) or Denver (with Engram) if they pass on a TE at #20 make sense to me.
  6. Agree. One of the most fun watches in the entire class.
  7. Love him. Great pick.
  8. Don't worry. None of you 'mericans use proper English anyway
  9. Yea I have heard DJ say it. I disagree with him. I'm not going to say "time will tell" though because I think that would be disingenuous as the easier usage is to be full time at corner and get a package of plays at WR (hard to do it the other way around) and so I think the likelihood is we will not get a chance to see his ceiling as a full time WR.... which means it is hard for those on your side of the conversation to be proven correct, which doesn't make you wrong... just means I think we probably won't get chance to find out.
  10. This is probably a tad early, I think he is more early day 3... but he does have a chance to sneak into the back end of day 2. He is my 101st player by my board. A pocket size version of Brian Branch who I loved a couple of years ago when he came out. I suspect like Branch he ends up a nickel corner rather than a safety in the NFL. But someone is gonna be really pleased they picked him a couple of years from now.
  11. Like if someone took him before Hunter, Carter or Ward (who isn't a better prospect but is a Quarterback) I think they'd deserve criticism. But before anyone else.... yea I'd struggle to crab it in this class.
  12. I take that point to an extent. But this top 10 isn't like many other top 10s. The opportunity cost of a stud running back isn't that high this time because there just aren't that many must have guys in this class. I think it is a decent draft with some good depth in spots. But it lacks top 10/15 types.
  13. Yea obviously DE and CB/WR have higher position tariffs and so they do have that separation but Jeanty is a stud prospect.
  14. I think there are three. The third is Jeanty.
  15. That's another great pick. I disagree with you on Banks as you know but I like Williams a fair amount too. He is in my top 50.
  16. Best player remaining. Great pick.
  17. To be clear I totally agree with this half of the post.
  18. Individual meetings, sure. But when a team puts that focus on a position does normally indicate they are at least considering it as an option. For example, is Starks was head and shoulders their BPA at #30 I think they'd take him.
  19. My preference is for them not to use a high pick on a safety. I wanted them to do more in FA last year at the spot and more in FA this year at the spot... instead of yet more middling rotational DL last year and two DL this year who can't play until week 7. But when they did spend the pick they selected a player I liked (although I had Bullock and Hicks higher). I'd like to think they wouldn't spend another day 2 pick but as another poster noted the consensus top 3 safeties all met with the Bills at the combine (they met 6 safeties total). That says to me that it is at least an active possibility for them.
  20. Hopefully the Bills! They would be lucky to get a day 2 pick back, having spent a first on him 3 years ago. He is a brilliant straight line runner. But he lacks vision and he doesn't have the short area quick feet that allow him to adjust to what is ahead of him and create where holes don't exist.
  21. That is true but he played SS at Houston and gave up two touchdowns - one in the pass game and one in the run game - and he played SS in the AFCCG too and was bad. I know I sound like I am not cutting him slack, I am, I understand the injury out him behind the 8 ball and then he had a stop - start year of playing a bit as a backup and then sitting and then playing etc... and his run support did get a bit better as the season went on. But honestly he was pretty awful. Like the worst player the Bills put out there all year at any spot other than Nicholas Morrow. And I say that as someone who quite liked the selection. I was really, really disappointed in him. He would need a BIG step forward this offseason to win the job IMO. And then an even bigger one to be an above average starter. It can happen, I am rooting for it to happen, but I think there is definitely a world in which he spends 2025 as a backup too.
  22. I don't ever expect him to match 2024 TD production. That would be a big ask. But his vision is so good that it definitely isn't fair to say he is just a product of the oline and Josh. He sees gaps that a LOT of running backs wouldn't see and get the maximum from them. I actually think he is still a tad underrated by Bills fans. And I say that as someone who remains in the "don't pay running backs" camp. Morris is not on the roster right now. Although I believe he remains unsigned....
  23. Yea I think it is definitely in play. True but Cole was soooo bad when he was out there. I'm hoping a missed camp meant he was always behind and never caught up because it was almost too bad to be true.
  24. When did this thread turn into pizza and real estate?
  25. With the 72nd pick of the 2025 TSW Mock Draft v1.0 the Chicago Bears select: Charles Grant, Offensive Tackle, William & Mary I was considering interior defensive line as a possibility here but the run of offensive line picks in front of me meant the ice was getting pretty thin there and despite the capital spent in free agency and the trade market on interior blockers I remain of the view that an upgrade is needed at left tackle. A lot of people have had Grant as a guy who will need to play at guard in the NFL but I don't see that at all. I think he has elite length and excellent footwork and is the classic modern athletic NFL blindside protector. He could stand to improve his functional strength somewhat and coming from William & Mary will need to adjust to a much higher level of competition in the league. It might take until his second year to hit but if Grant hits he can be really, really good. The New York Jets and @DJB are now on the clock.
