The sad part is that the opportunity was there today.. They threw the ball deep once in the third quarter once the Bills were down 2 scores. Orton missed Sammy who had a step. This could have been a way different game with the Bills D teeing off on Tannehill instead of the Dolphins D teeing off on Orton.

Firing Whaley would be a huge mistake. The rest I don't care so much about after tonight. Whaley knows how to evaluate talented players. If he stays, the Bills eventually get there.

Phil Simms made a couple of points tonight that I think need to be mentioned here. 1) It is a poor offensive design to expect your offense to execute 15 plays in order to score a touchdown. You have to mix in some big play trys in order to score touchdowns. 2) You have to throw the ball deep enough times because sometimes you get the penalty. You don't always have to complete the pass. Sometimes you get the penalty. Hackett could learn a thing or two from Phil.

I was convinced the call was B.S. until seeing this video. The replays they showed at the game were from a different angle that made it look like there was zero flinching. So it looked like an exceptionally bad call. Even after seeing that other video I still didn't think that the flinch was enough movement to warrant a false start. But after seeing this I completely changed my mind. It does look like the ref got it right and I feel stupid for thinking otherwise.

I was thinking along the same lines. The offensive line looked like they played much better. If they keep going in this direction, the offense will start looking a lot better.

Yup.....right then.... Up until then I still thought the Bills were going to win. They had outplayed KC the whole game on average. The big turnovers ultimately cost them the game.

They should use Lee Smith to replace the kids who run out and pick up the Tee after kick offs....Otherwise he shouldn't be on this team.... For Summers...I think they should create a play called the Fullback option pass.... I know that teams run the half back option pass once in a great while, but what about the double sneaky Fullback option pass? Yeah baby... Or snap the ball directly to Summers and have him quick kick on 3rd down......defenses would never see that coming...

Who cares how he dresses as long as he isn't wearing dresses?

He just doesn't strike me as a football guy.....I don't know what it is about him....I just don't see him as a legitimate NFL coach....

I love that people are blaming Chandler for not recovering the fumble by Brown.....lol......so much hatred on here for Chandler.....not his fault guys....sorry....it's just not his fault.....

I am fine with firing him based on last year's performance alone. Seriously.....totally okay with chucking him to the curb.....it's not like the Bills' punt and kickoffs have been stellar....

The thing that sucked the most about that play was that I thought it was obvious the Bills were just trying to draw KC offsides. I assumed they were trying to draw them offsides and planning on taking a delay of game penalty if they couldn't get them to move. Then they would punt. And it worked........It appeared to work perfectly.....right up until the ref said it was a false start instead of encroachment..... The Bills actually executed that play as it was designed in my opinion.....and the refs took it away...and gave it to the other team.....inexcusable.

I strongly agree. The best quarterback play we have seen out of EJ has been over the last 4 weeks or so. He hasn't lost us a game in a while.

Isn't Pete Rose an NFL ref now? Maybe he taught the refs how to gamble on games in vegas without getting caught?

Keep playing Orton until officially eliminated from playoff contention or switch if he started playing pathetic football....but I doubt he starts playing EJ style pathetic football....so you keep playing him until you are officially eliminated from playoff contention. Then you bring in Tuel as starter just to see if he really has what it takes to remain on the practice squad.....(sarcasm you friggin idiots)

Yup.... Hackett actually called a pretty good game in my opinion. Not perfect, but way, way, way better than previous games. Schwartz.....kills me how he refuses to bring pressure in situations where it demands it.........How can he have the defense that well prepared and then miss these obvious situational calls......maddening.... The players had multiple opportunities to put this game away and they choked....

You are right. I didn't so much care about that call anyway because I knew the guy shouldn't have dove head first. That is what drew the flag. But the other two calls mentioned were bogus in my opinion from someone who was at the game. They showed both replays on the jumbotron and netiher looked like a penalty to me. The fans at the game were exceptionally pissed especially after that 4th and one false star B.S. In fact, there was a moment where I thought people were going to rush the field and gang beat a ref.....that fourth down call was total bull ****. Refs made a game changing bad call there.

Making contact is legal. You are not allowed to "hit" the guy unnecessarily. He didn't hit the QB. He barely grazed him. If he didn't dive head first it wouldn't have been a penalty. Wuss ass NFL and their sissy quarterback calls. That play was not even close to unnecessary roughness.

Orton didn't play a great game, but it certainly wasn't a bad game.....not even close to bad for him......blaming this loss on him in any way is bad...just dumb...gimme a friggin break... How about we blitz that piece of crap quarterback on the other team when it is 3rd and long......how about our guys don't cough up the ball near our own endzone....how about these friggin receivers learn to catch the ball.....

Yes that was nice... But you can't get much better than this one....
