I asked this in another thread.
WHY don’t we block the outside gunners when we are receiving a punt????
The other teams outside guys are given a free release to the inside. It has to be by design because our guys don’t even try to engage them or bracket them to the outside.
Every single punt Roberts is back there catching it with both outside coverage guys on him as he signals the fair catch.
WTF????
Anybody???? Thoughts????
This is every game, all season long
I guess hitting Beasely and Knox with perfect passes on third down to have them be dropped was on Josh. Two drives ended right there or did I miss something.
We need receivers to go up and get the ball, with their hands.
He drops the easy stuff and then makes a one armed circus grab. Efffing infuriating?
What drives me nuts is that the gunners NEVER jam the coverage guys and always give them a free release to the inside on punts. It is by design and I can’t figure it out for the life of me.
Are they trying to create sideline openings???
WHAT IN THE ACTUAL F¥}£????
Thought the same.
They are learning to win also. The game seemed a little too big for them at times . That includes Josh, Beasely ( still don’t love him), Effing Knox with another key drop on an easy ball like Beasely.
They are in rebuilding mode. KA is a SOLID # 2.
I don’t think their cap situation is good. My guess is they are going to cut to get cap room. This is where my “ Pipe dream” of us getting Luke Kuechly comes from.
That was the year Gettlemen had let Josh Norman go( They had a contract Norman was ready to sign and Gettlemen yanked it?!?
They started Rookies Worley and Bradberry at CB and I think Coleman and Boston at Safeties. The D line was old and it was a disaster. That was the end for Gettlemen.
Listened to a Charlotte caller on WFNZ yesterday talking about Rivera coaching.
His point was the Panthers defense hasn’t rebounded since McD left for Buffalo. I hadn’t thought of it but he was correct imo.
What I can’t believe is they didn’t get rid of Hurney. He’s a good numbers guy but his drafting after the first rounds has been ?.
I assume they are going to bring in a better talent evaluator before the draft.
It is fascinating to watch this process happen when you don’t have a dog in the fight.
Josh is the easy answer so ANOTHER favorite is Matt Milano.
He’s one of those effort guys who absolutely balls out!!! I swear he had a hand in half the tackles the last two weeks.
I was really concerned about his ability this year after that nasty break last year but Dude is full steam ahead.
