Shady's combined yards from scrimmage in 2019...predictions?
wnysteel replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
touche, i just think he's earning too much and we have too much invested in RB bench depth to keep him around. i guess that was my point. for the amount he's earning, yards from scrimmage should start at 1500. i just don't see it. -
Shady's combined yards from scrimmage in 2019...predictions?
wnysteel replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i don't think he sees 500 total yards. here is why: 1) if he starts out hot, he's going to get traded (for anything) 2) if he starts out cold, he will get cut or sat down prove me wrong but i don't see any other options -

Allen's Last Pass (12/2): Bad Pass or Drop?
wnysteel replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i'm wondering if something is still wrong with his elbow. i saw a few passes that were not tight spirals, and more like wounded ducks in the game. when that happens, accuracy is going to suffer. i hadn't really seen this up until sunday. that's my only question/point. ^^ this. why did he stop running and dive? if he kept his feet moving, he would have came back to the ball for an easy catch. -
Allen's Last Pass (12/2): Bad Pass or Drop?
wnysteel replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you are barking up the wrong tree....sorry. i'm a big Allen proponent. just commenting that he had a few bad throws is all. and by bad, i mean ducks, not a tight spiral. overall he was great yesterday -
Allen's Last Pass (12/2): Bad Pass or Drop?
wnysteel replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it's really both, but mostly on Clay. probably 80-20. the throw wasn't great (in fact, i saw a few ducks from Allen yesterday). my biggest issue is, why does Clay dive down instead of continuing to run back towards Allen? if he keeps running, he will be out of the end zone, but has a much better chance at catching. i can only assume he thought time was expiring and needed to catch the ball in the end zone. no other logical reason for it. -
can't find it, but the original high-level business meeting one. lots of references to it in subsequent threads. i can't find the original however

i had exactly the same thought. 4 years max. FYI, from Wikipedia: Potential future[edit] On January 10, 2014, Mike Judge announced that, while he is busy working on Silicon Valley, there is a chance of him pitching Beavis and Butt-Head to another network and that he wouldn't mind making more episodes.[36] While giving an interview to Howard Stern on May 6, 2014, Judge mentioned that the show's ratings on MTV were second only to Jersey Shore, but the show didn't fit MTV's target demographic of young women, which is why the revived series has not been brought back on MTV. He also said that MTV was close to selling it to another network, but it became "lost in deal stuff".[37](37m) In interviews, Judge has stated his interest in producing a live-action movie, and Johnny Depp has expressed interest in the role of Beavis.[38] In May 2008, Judge said that he previously hated the idea, but now believes that "maybe there's something there."[39] During an interview for Collider on August 25, 2008, Judge said, "I like to keep the door open on Beavis and Butt-Head, because it's my favorite thing that I've ever done. It's the thing I'm most proud of." However, he also added, "Another movie... the problem is it takes a year and half, two years, two and a half years—maybe—to do that right. And that's a pretty strong level of commitment. I'm going to look at that again. That comes up every three years." One of his ideas is bringing back the characters as old men, instead of teenagers. "I kind of think of them as being either 15 or in their 60s," he said. "I wouldn't mind doing something with them as these two dirty old men sitting on the couch." Judge added that he would not completely ignore the time that has passed in between. In 2016, Judge told RadioTimes.com that "Maybe it could be a live-action someday" and went on to speculate that Beavis might be homeless by now.[40] In March 2018, Judge told Rotten Tomatoes that the idea of doing a second Beavis and Butt-Head movie had been brought up two months prior, stating that "It’s just a matter of coming up with an idea that feels like it’s worth doing."[41]

we fry them twice. put them in for about 7-8 minutes with the oil at 350. pull them out and put on paper towels. let the oil come back up to temp, then drop them in again, this time for 4-5 minutes. they are perfectly cooked and crispy.

[Name Only Title] Corey Bojorquez
wnysteel replied to Marv's Neighbor's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
we aren't talking about QB or all-star linebacker. we are talking about the punter. not even a kicker. we had the best punter in the league for a few years and what did that get us? -

i think belicheat has very little tolerance for mistakes, which is where we need to be. what's wrong with having high standards? the 2 mistakes have not cost us a game, but what happens if the next mistake does cost us a game? -

wnysteel replied to Marv's Neighbor's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
he's made 2 critical mistakes so far. sorry, but that's an unacceptable level for someone who only plays maybe 10 snaps a game. let's put it this way. if he was on the Pats*, do you think Belicheat would cut him? -
link for Maven? i never heard of that one. thanks in advance!

Toyota Tacoma or Chevy Colorado?
wnysteel replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall Archives
it really depends on what you plan to use it for, and how long you plan to keep it. i looked at both, ended up buying the Taco. Here are here is my conclusion: Taco: --holds value well --excellent fit and finish --i have the limited edition so the stereo is awesome --expensive to obtain, even used (my 2017 used Taco was more than a similar equipped brand new Chevy) --very little wiggle room on price, generally speaking --if you buy new (or very recent used), includes 2 years of free scheduled maintenance --after 2 years however, maintenance generally will be more $$ than the chevy --very reliable (it's a Toyota...) Chevy: --cheaper to buy and maintain overall --dealers much more likely to negotiate on price --back seat on 4 door model is smaller than Taco (this was important to me) --nicer rider than the taco (less "truck like" in my opinion) --lesser resale value
