  1. Since we play the Jets week one I want to remind the forum about Le'Veon Bell record setting performance against the BILLS when he played for the Steelers. My man Brett Kollmann post a video about Bell patient running style and why it works and how you stop it. It includes video about what the Bills did wrong on that day along with what they did right to stop him at the end though it was too late. Lorenzo Alexander was on the field that day so hopefully he can pass along what work toward the end of that game.
  2. Im on the running backs side on this. They play one of most high impact positions in football in terms of physicality and a lot of people say just run them into the ground and draft another one. Ok then at what point does the good, great running backs get their money then. A good balance is let them play the 1st 2 years out. If they are good give a big pay upgrade for the last 2 and play it out from there.
  3. No his point was quote “crappy offense and turnovers” so my argument is valid. You only just mentioned defense and no mention of the crappy offense reference.
  4. Worst Offenses 2018 Arizona Miami Buffalo* Ny Jets Washington Jacksonville* Cincinnati Tennessee Detroit Oakland Most Giveaways: Tampa Bay: 35 Buffalo: 32* San Francisco: 32 Ny Jets :30 Jacksonville: 29* Arizona: 28 Pittsburgh: 26 Chicago: 24 Cleveland: 24 Indianapolis: 24 Best Defenses ( Yards Allowed) Baltimore Buffalo* Chicago Minnesota Jacksonville* Pittsburgh Dallas Tennessee Los Angeles Chargers Detroit ******* The only teams to in the top 10 of both Worst Offense, Most Turnovers, and Best Defenses( Yards Allowed) is the Buffalo Bills and the Jacksonville Jaguars so your argument does not hold much weight.
  5. You would think a turnover laden offense would put the defense on the field more and then in turn give up more yards and points. So it was a testament to how well the defense played considering that they got no help from the offense to stay fresh
  6. Jets pressure defense 1st game of the season on the road against a team starting 4 new OL. Yeah that might be a lost. I hope not though.
  7. Oh ok. My bad. Just looking to share some content online since people always want to know what other fans feel about our team. I think those guys are cool and are fans of the NFL like us.
  8. Ok Im slow. What does LAMP represent lol
  9. Hey Guys. Just wanted to share a youtube channel that I follow that discusses NFL topics in a group format and they did their AFC EAST PREDICTIONS. My name in the chat is Mastenpark. It got pretty lively tonight especially toward the end when they were debating Josh Allen. Do me a favor and check these guys out if you have the time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFDlFXDzE9U
  10. It doesn’t feel right spending hundreds of dollars for tickets either. If I am going to spend that kind of money I would rather do it where I can be as comfortable as possible and not freeze my ass off.
  11. There is a difference in my opinion between a team and a roster. When I think of roster I think talent and when I think team is how that talent works together. For example in most seasons New England doesn’t have the most talented roster but in most years they are the best TEAM The the opposite example is the Pittsburgh Steelers. Until last years top 3 roster but no where near the best team. We may not have the best talent (pro bowls, all pro) yet but I feel like at this point the Sum of our parts are greater than parts by themselves
  12. It did the same for me regarding Darnold. He sucked in the game as a whole but he showed me a lot in the 4th with 3 dime passes. It made me go watch the rest of his tape to see that he has a future as long as the Jets don’t screw it up
  13. Well first of all you put Darnold name in your mouth at the beginning of your post " On a side note, Darnold, facing our "highly ranked D," outplayed Allen. " 2nd of all Allen did not suck twice as bad since he put up 38% more total offense 307 vs 180 ( Again stop cherry picking). Regarding checking down how do you know what fundamentals he was taught. I would say not much since he never went to any camps as a kid and really didn't get top flight coaching until he got to college with a limited supporting cast. The book on Allen coming out was he was raw. Well guess what he played like he was raw. What he also did was learn throughout the season and he did enough for his coaching staff to invest in him more to give him more weapons and better protection. Well see how that works in Sept
  14. Darnold played like trash in that game until the 4th and would have loss that game if it were not for the BILLS garbage special teams. Regarding Allen you can nik -pik any plays you want. The fact is that he needs to learn to check down. I would rather have a QB though that has be taught to learn how to check down, than to learn how to take a chance. This year he is being taught to read the defense from short to high as opposed to the rest of his career where he read the defense fom high to short so hopefully that does help his overall game. Remember Josh was a raw prospect coming out. As much as Darnold is praised especially toward the end of the season, he laid the same dud performace vs the PATS as Allen. Matter of fact Allen team scored more point albeit in garbage time.
  15. Well I was compiling some stats after watching some Dallas games with Dak Prescott and compared that to Josh Allen and determined that from behind the LOS to 10 yards out that composed of 73% of Dak Prescott pass attempts compared to 46% to Josh Allen's. On those passes Dak hit 80% of those passes compared to 75% for Josh Allen. If the ratios and percentages stayed the same if Josh rose his pass attempts to 73% from behind the LOS to 10 yards out from 46% that would result in 27 more completions for the season and would raise his overall completion percentage for the season from 52% to 61%
  16. I would cheer for a injury where they can continue for that game but never a major injury that would jeopardize a players career. I am still haunted that I was happy when Bo Jackson got hurt in that playoff game against the Bengals in 1991 knowing he wouldn’t be able to play against the BILLS in the AFC Championship game the next week. Never did I think then it was going to be career ending injury for him.
  17. Its funny cause the gameplan was basically to stop Curtis Martin and after 200 pages of game planning he still ran for 135 yards and 2 TD. How does a player not get totally dejected when you put in all the work for the week just to get a loss especially on a losing team year end year out. How do you not start to question if the coaching staff is competent enough to win.
  18. It’s interesting that so many candidates turned down the Jets job. It basically came down to basically paying 2.5 times the initial offer. That tells me a lot about how people view the Jets right now even after spending over 100million in the offseason
  19. He lost me when he says Allen struggles with back shoulder placement. I think I only saw one throw that he missed throwing back shoulder.
  20. That’s what I’ve always respected about him was his honestly. That to me shows confidence and humility
  21. If I was the players I would want more guaranteed contracts especially at the lower salary tiers, being able to use medical marijuana for pain, % of gambling revenue, and to your point better salary minimums.
  22. The analytics people, most fans comparing the 2 QB, most of the media. Trust me I follow all 3 groups.
  23. When you look at Allen from pure passing numbers perspective he sucks. Now what is funny is that Sam Darnold gets all the praise in the world but from a pure passing numbers perspective his overall numbers are only marginally better than Allen. Sam Darnold was 1-9 in his last 10 games with his only win was against the BILLS where it took a special teams meltdown and 3 dimes from Darnold in the 4th to pull it out. Before the 3 dimes he looked like trash. I actually like Darnold but the gap between him and Allen is far less than what people make it out to be
  24. Im being dead serious. No way would I draft Tua before the 3rd round. What makes you think Tua is THAT guy
