I heard an interesting standard presented when it comes to racism- "that silence is violence". The reason the standard is so interesting is that if I use that standard for anything I can refer to anyone as any slur I would like as long as they did not publicly announce their intentions recently. I finally realized how old you must be to make this argument. Seriously I had similar discussions with my old liberal aunt and uncle in 2017. The process for taking the polls became outdated about 10 years ago when so many people moved to cell phones that tell you who is calling. It is so easy to avoid telemarketing calls that you will never get a proper sample demographic through just phone calls, which is the only way many of these polls are done. Some of these polls were well outside the margin of error in 2016, which by definition means the process is flawed. If you have a poll that is built differently then it might be correct but we would need to wait to see.

Last week I recieved an letter that required me to simply log in and confirm some previous information in order to get my absentee ballot. It took 10 minutes and should be required by all states for each election, it is not fully secure but at least a voter would have to verify something.

In reading a ton about what the current protest is about, and not caring what the rioters thing, I do respect the protesters and what they are saying. The issue is we have police in these liberal areas that are almost completely immune to responsibility for the actions they take and the police are not there to help people but enforce laws. Where I wonder about the protesters intelligence is if I lived in one of these crap hole places I would move and find a place where the police don't do that. I would vote for people who would not allow the police to do no knock warrants, and most importantly I would not repeatedly vote for the same people who caused my neighborhood to suck as these neighborhoods apparently do. These people need to take charge where they can and change the direction of the area they live.

That apartment sounds like my brother in law's in Buffalo- it was called the Kensington- and they had the best heat in the winter but it did not stop in the summer, and their apartment would be warmer than outside. As for the hot weather situation, I have finally gotten use to weather in Orlando but I do not like it, I just ignore it like I did -20 weather up north. As a straight tax return goes you would be correct but to anyone who makes 500k and up, especially those over 5 million, the rate is less important than deductions and Trump's plan currently limits deductions so that most people on the high end of tax bracket paid more. Warren Buffett is famous for making sure he has as many deductions as possible to lower his rate to equal to mine.

I generally disagree with everything you say but do appreciate the fact you are willing to put actual thoughts together. Several posters on here that are anti Trump are just name callers and can't be reasoned with.

And as you stated previously that perjury is not proven and can not be considered in sentencing if the original guilty plea is not accepted due to prosecutorial malfeasance unless they want to go through an entire trial for the perjury. Slow down and read what you wrote before you call yourself a hoax again.

Ga and FL have this in common- the areas run by Dems having major voting issues while the Republican run ones are fine. Counties run the voting precincts here and it is amazing that they never get fixed by the same people election after election

I will take my part of the blame for not speaking up earlier. I have a good friend who got in trouble for retweeting a white supremacists. Now there was an investigation at the school and I allowed it to happen without mocking the entire process and said the process was fine since my friend had not known he was a white supremacists. The reason it was so absurd is my friend is black and the great grand child of slaves and grand child of sharecroppers.

So if the initial conviction is overturned- which is what is happening here- then you can not use the perjury charge as if it has been adjudicated. I was unaware of this being codified in law but thank you- you are a great lawyer for the Flynn team.

I am supposed to care what a guy says who is either a liar or a horrible person? If this guy did all these things then I hope he rots in hell when he dies.
