  1. rodak is a pats fan, and a very sophisticated troll imo. I've never read a writer with a bias as consistently negative as rodak. It's as if he gets off on it, quite pathetic really
  2. Really? You must be new to this whole 'bills fan' thing?
  3. He very well may be a bust, but I'll be damned if this isn't the type of person I want leading the bills https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wu02kt6kmsw
  4. Does it also apply to comments on that thread? And what about responses to that thread?
  5. according to wikipedia, tyrod taylor is 6' 3/4". Tyrod had problems finding open receivers, but that seemed to be due more to the fact that he could not throw an intermediate pass through a window in the middle of the field. ever. ok maybe not ever but I think i could count on one hand the number of times he did that last year
  6. google reddit nfl streams. They post really hi def links to the game, if you have a good internet connection you should be all set. GO BILLS!!
  7. Brandon Tate picking up the first down against the Raiders, and the entire sideline rallying around him on the sideline like he scored the game-winning touchdown. The announcers initially thought a fight broke out, just an awesome display of what being a team is about.
  8. is it just me, or does David Fales look a lot like Rodak?
  9. I've long been a critic of Rodak, who in the past seemed determined to cast a dark cloud over any sign of progress or potential on the bills. But this year, he is giving credit where it's due. Lots of it. It makes me wonder if he has turned a corner in his reporting style, or perhaps the bills have grown on him and now he's showing his Fandom through his reports. The third possibility is that he's always reported with the same approach, and his insight has identified something truly to respect and admire about this team, as opposed to the deceptive rays of hope this team has shown in previous years. Haven't made up my mind yet which answer is the closest to reality, but either way I love the positive press. Go bills!
  10. I have a feeling this thread will be revived every time Gilmore makes a mistake. I do agree he's overrated, but Jesus some people on this board want him to fail, because why, he did what every single player does by going after a bigger contract, and a better chance of winning a championship? I adamantly argued with a friend that he is way overrated; he is great in coverage at times, but never wraps up a tackle and often blows coverages. You guys can debate that deep ball ad nauseum, but the people defending him know in their hearts that he has been involved in a LOT of blown coverages That have resulted in touchdowns or big plays. It happens too often for it to be a coincidence, that other players around him are always blowing coverages and we're to accept that he is always playing assignment correctly. I can actually see this happening several times this year, and him possibly being benched at some point. Yes I will root for him to fail, but for no other reason than he is on the PatriotS and I wI'll celebrate every single thing that is advantageous for the bills. But to say the guy is a cancer is pathetic; the guy barely ever speaks and is known to be a consummate professional off the field. He's just a guy who plays football, he is guilty of nothing other than being a liability on the field at times. Get over it
  11. You sound just like me... in 2003, 2007, 2009,2011.... I really mean no disrespect by this, but I am guessing you're a bit younger. Experience has force fed us bills fans the harsh reality that any and all perceived signs of success mean absolute squat until they put up a winning record. And one in the secoND half of the season at that. You want to talk about getting your hopes up? Remember when Trent Edwards went 5 and 1, only to see him get smashed into the turf by Dansby? Or how about 07 when they missed the playoffS by losING to derek Anderson and the Browns in the Most pathetic display of offense ever witnessed. Or perhaps in 05 when they when on a 7 game winning streak only to lose to the steelers back ups in the final game of the season. This is the weakest the roster has looked since the Gailey era, no knocking beane and McDermott doing for the long term, but mediocrity would be a godsend this year
  12. These posts about hypothetical moves for bad Quarterbacks on TBD are getting depressing. Come on guys, let's at least not ASPIRE to incompetence
  13. I think everyone was expecting big things out of the kid last year before the acl tear, but I haven't heard anything about him. I did hear McDermott justify his place behind Preston Brown, but I haven't got to actually see him play. Any observations?
  14. First I would like to express gratitude for the updates, insight, and engaging discussion that occurs on this TSW. I rely on this website as my primary source of all things bills, and have done so for years. I rarely post, but lurk on almost all threads concerning the latest with the team. That being said, I felt compelled to speak up specifically about the worst aspect of this message board, and most likely all message boards: derision and trolling. It seems that more than half of the posts on TSW are confronted with snide comments and cheap sarcasm, often devolving into a petty flame war. What those involved don't realize, or perhaps don't care to consider, is that it ruins the thread for everyone else. If you see a post that seems stupid or ill-advised, appeal to your better judgment and just ignore it; if it is so, it'll go away on its own. Some fans have radical views. Others are less informed than others. But I have to say that I sigh heavily every time I follow a thread and it stoops to mockery and derision. This is not an anti-bullying campaign or a big ego stroke on my part. I am posting this for selfish reasons, because I don't want to waste my time reading petty arguments, and I am convinced that many feel the same. Not to mention that it discourages discussion, which is why this board exists. How about we all agree we love our woeful Bills and want to see them win. Post stuff that other people would like to read even if they don't agree with it, this message board would be far more pleasant for it. Go BILLS!
  15. I'm well aware of his age, mileage, and injuries, but this would be a low risk pickup with a lot of upside. Perhaps there's something I'm missing, but it is confusing to me that he's received no media attention. Yes, he's had the torn acl and the knee surgeries, but when healthy he's a bona fide premier back. Might as well kick the tires
  16. This very same moment came to mind. "and they are going bonkers in Buffalo!" what a great comeback win,
  17. EJ is terrible. Always has been, always will be. He seems like a great guy and a hard worker, so I get why people root for him. I was one of them for a long time, but you have to call a spade a spade. He's simply terrible, tyrod on his worst day is better than EJ on his best. Honestly, it's shocking to me that anyone still thinks he could be viable
  18. Speak the truth! All this hype until we put some w's on the board, I'm tired of depending on potential
  19. exactly... I was thinking of roberts woods handling richard sherman in college, same thing.
  20. Ha, that's great. Only Bill Burr would throw his own sponsor under the bus like that
  21. listen to the first 5 minutes, he lambasts the bills. NSFW language, obviously.Enjoy http://www.billburr.com/podcast/thursday-afternoon-monday-morning-podcast-9-17-15
