I wouldn't really dispute that my preference of Rob Johnson over Flutie at the end came from being fairly tall (6ft3) myself. I am not going to whine about being tall, but it always annoyed me that whenever I did something while playing basketball or playing volleyball people just chalked it up to "oh he's just tall" when I felt like no one says "oh he's just fast, or oh he just has good vision." But.... I now admit that I picked the wrong horse and my feeling that Johnson could eventually learn how to avoid the rush be a great QB someday was wrong. Flutie brought some excitement and maybe should have stayed another year or two longer. I suppose people should keep this in mind when I hate on Losman. Mayhaps my judge of QB talent is lacking...

I'm not a hockey fan and don't follow it or understand the intricacies of it. But since I love the Bills and understand how much the city of Buffalo likes the Sabres and how much they would be lifted by actually winning a championship in something, I have been keeping track of them and hope they can somehow pull it off.

I was a Johnson guy at the end of the DF/RJ debate. I now regret it. However large DF's ego was, he did win while he was here. And it is at least arguable that he helped keep the Bills here by helping to spark a run on luxury suites necessary for the lease to go into effect. He certainly brought excitement to the team... sorely lacking since he left.

Perhaps I shouldn't be judging the quality of 24 seasons. I have seen three of them: the first one, the fourth one and this one. But out of the three, I think the fourth one was the best and was the one that brought me back to the show.

I think you were the one who was attacking TD before last season. If not, I apologize. I was with you there when people were on your case for your criticism. I disagree now because while TD had had 4 years to work out at that point, I think a new administration at OBD deserves the benefit of the doubt at least until the season starts.
