  1. This is correct. They are a PERFECT complement to each other. Doug Whaley looks smarter and smarter with each passing week.
  2. Carp is automatic. Everyone gets spas over preseason. Chill y'all.
  3. Only 2/3 were real. And the phantom ones were the game.changers.
  4. It's quite surreal. I'm about 80% convinced at this point that refs make strategic calls at times to keep games from getting out of hand. Especially for the most marketable teams/players.
  5. Someone please tell me where the facemask was. Or did Vegas/goodell call that penalty in.
  6. hahaha here's something original https://twitter.com/LuchaBills/status/643060493637300224
  7. Haha just looked at that. What makes the two "I'm not going to the game... I'm going to the game!" tweets hilarious is the hot pocket tweets. Too funny.
  8. https://twitter.com/ajwilliams23/status/643048941584535552 I was lucky enough to be following my Bills list when it happened a few minutes ago (9am Sunday), but my trigger finger wasn't fast enough! AW is the man for doing things like this. Good for him.
  9. Not what I hoped to wake up and read this morning. What a tragedy. So sorry that others had to see this happen.
  10. Really? They put a store in front, some black paint, and a bunch of mysterious boulders all over the place like it's Easter Island or something. Looks like same bowl of concrete it ever was to me. Love the hell out of it still and the memories, but I'm all about a new facility. Full disclosure, I don't pay the taxes for said project so easy for me to say!
  11. A notch above TJ Graham? If there are only two notches on your scale, then I agree.
  12. He's always going to have some success. Can't shut him down completely. Have to double him, but in creative ways. Some defenses will do things like match him up man to man with a linebacker, but then the linebacker peels off at 5-10 yards and goes into a zone. Then a safety, who played zone off the snap, comes up to fill in the man coverage. That can create a risky window during the trade off, but it can also bait throws that look open, but have a robber coming in to pick or break up the pass. What worked once will generally not work all game though, so there have to be multiple plans of attack and adjustments in the bag ready to be pulled out on the fly. I'm hoping to see those type of adjustments this year and see that Rex is the guy who can do those things, take away other team's strength's to make them have to adjust, etc.
  13. Old division foes They're as soft as they ever were Return of the Bills
  14. I usually like John Clayton's take, but he's acting as if he can see into his crystal ball and see that we would likely win the first two with Cassel. There is nothing to suggest that Cassel is any more equipped to run this offense than any of the other quarterbacks on the roster. Nothing. Sure, we may be 0-2. We may be 1-1. We may be 2-0. These detracting opinions are meaningless.
  15. I hope it's young ralph from the 60's in a trenchcoat, not 90 year old Ralph.
  16. Can't believe they didn't fall on that fumble. They just didn't look like they wanted it that bad. Not the Steelers of old. No one can cover Gronk... man to man. You cannot just man up on him, and they did that repeatedly. Double cover or zone help, Make edelman beat you on the low crossers, but you cannot leave Gronk in man coverage. Steelers missed Dick Lebeau tonight. Rex/Thurman won't make the same mistake.
  17. Run D was a joke. Defense just horrible on both sides for that matter. So many arm tackles.
  18. Lollll Tom is getting all comfortable like this is gunna be a breeze of a season. Can't WAIT for him to run into our front 4 next week with big money Dareus leading the charge. He will be nowhere near that comfortable in orchard park. Side note, pats fans are hilarious. My local library is louder than Foxboro. What a joke.
  19. And the cap HAS to go up, right? And significantly...
  20. Dareus defines how your offense can play football. He is such a force against the run, you have to gameplan around him. He provides consistant pass pressure up the middle and saves you from needing to blitz up the gut to get that. He singlehandedly collapses the pocket. Worthe every penny. Great graphic, thanks for sharing. Very interesting. Hopefully kyles play stays at a high level. Might be hard to pay some of our other guys over the next few years. Love us some sacks in Buffalo great identity to have imo
  21. He's underrated. His athletic ability is off the charts, and he was a beast against the run last year as well. Can't wait to see him this year.
  22. GET LOUD THIS SUNDAY (on defense)
  23. Is it week 2 yet? God I hope the Bills crush them... please God... let it be so.
  24. The Bills superbowl era was a great run in the history of professional sports. I'm proud of it, and it's shaped our identity as Bills fans. I would trade all that in a second for just one SB victory.
  25. Who made that tackle? That was a great stick.
