  1. Can't believe they didn't fall on that fumble. They just didn't look like they wanted it that bad. Not the Steelers of old. No one can cover Gronk... man to man. You cannot just man up on him, and they did that repeatedly. Double cover or zone help, Make edelman beat you on the low crossers, but you cannot leave Gronk in man coverage. Steelers missed Dick Lebeau tonight. Rex/Thurman won't make the same mistake.
  2. Run D was a joke. Defense just horrible on both sides for that matter. So many arm tackles.
  3. Lollll Tom is getting all comfortable like this is gunna be a breeze of a season. Can't WAIT for him to run into our front 4 next week with big money Dareus leading the charge. He will be nowhere near that comfortable in orchard park. Side note, pats fans are hilarious. My local library is louder than Foxboro. What a joke.
  4. And the cap HAS to go up, right? And significantly...
  5. Dareus defines how your offense can play football. He is such a force against the run, you have to gameplan around him. He provides consistant pass pressure up the middle and saves you from needing to blitz up the gut to get that. He singlehandedly collapses the pocket. Worthe every penny. Great graphic, thanks for sharing. Very interesting. Hopefully kyles play stays at a high level. Might be hard to pay some of our other guys over the next few years. Love us some sacks in Buffalo great identity to have imo
  6. He's underrated. His athletic ability is off the charts, and he was a beast against the run last year as well. Can't wait to see him this year.
  7. GET LOUD THIS SUNDAY (on defense)
  8. Is it week 2 yet? God I hope the Bills crush them... please God... let it be so.
  9. The Bills superbowl era was a great run in the history of professional sports. I'm proud of it, and it's shaped our identity as Bills fans. I would trade all that in a second for just one SB victory.
  10. Who made that tackle? That was a great stick.
  11. That sums up the 4th preseason game.
  12. I am pretty confident the Buffalo Bills are not paying anyone to post on twobillsdrive.com. For the record, I also believe that Apollo 11 did in fact land on the moon.
  13. With a running QB like Tyrod though, doesn't the injury concern have to cause some pause here? Is another tight end, even one who is a ST contributor, more valuable than that insurance? Not leading questions, just asking. If Tyrod went down and we had EJ, who has injury history, and Simms backing him up, that's concerning.
  14. To think that we are hopeful for this despite losing the o-line guru. Who would have thought we could do it without him?
  15. You just won the internet today
  16. Love it. Hope he continues to develop. Talk about finding value in the seventh round. Honestly have no idea how so many teams passed on this guy in rounds 5-7, ourselves included. Character concerns over pot have proved to be unwarranted.
  17. Getting a little ahead of ourselves, but yes, if he turns this offense around he'll be a candidate for a head coach. Hard to say how many openings there will be (bet on Washington!) and how much he'll be valued. I tend to think there'll be less of a rush on him. The top tier teams wouldn't go for him yet, I don't think. There's no way the Browns hire another Buffalo assistant if the last one doesn't work out. Other possibilities are out there, but I'd expect that we get at least 2 years under Roman. Those expectations go down if we make the playoffs with solid offensive play, and they go down dramatically if we get a playoff win. AFC championship appearance with good offensive play, and he's in the mix for any team with a vacancy.
  18. This is a good post. I think this is an accurate take. Time will tell (if he gets in regular season action, which is very likely at some point) if we just saw a few more preseason flashes followed by regression. I think a lot of us are excited about TT and hopeful EJ is genuinely developing into a potential starter.
  19. Hey sorry haven't heard from you in awhile. Just wanted to see if you cared to comment?
  20. Love this thread and all those who poo pooed that this could happen.
  21. Someone will absolutely sign Matt Cassel. There are plenty of teams with horrible backup QB situations.
  22. Awesome. Great spot for him. Hope he does well. Can't wait to cheer him on in the NFC, and thank god he's not on the Pats. Keep a great career rolling FJ! Looking forward to you returning and hopefully signing a one day contract to retire as a Bill.
  23. How should he dress to please you, boss? Want him to dance for you too?
  24. This is the correct response to all of the woe is us, doomed, and heartbroken feelings about Fred. This is the NFL, and this is how it works. I loved FJ as a Bill as much as anyone. I remember watching his runs while he backed up Marshawn and saying he was amazing, when most fans around me were indifferent or didn't know who he was or his D3, NFL Europe story. It's hard to believe people who say they would root against the Bills if FJ was on another team and he played us. Also wishing that we continue to miss the playoffs as some sort of punishment? I remember when people used to tell me that there are Bills fans who actually enjoy losing so they can continue to wallow in their misery and talk about how bad they have it and complain, complain, complain. They do, in fact, exist.
  25. I feel like Tyrod or Taylor are both solid. Name is strong enough to stand alone
