  1. He deserves more touches after today for sure.
  2. Any word on how Tyrod's ankle is doing? Absent real running backs this week, it would be nice if they can game plan in some Tyrod runs to compensate. Guessing we may also be using the short passing game (bubbles to Sammy?) as a partial substitute for running, as well.
  3. Clearly Tyrod Taylor does not meet the NFL's criteria for being eligible for a late hit on the QB, so no need to look out for that one. Might as well see if there are some phantom calls on the line they can make against the Bills instead.
  4. Yep. That was quite the turning point. If I had to put the critical moment on one play, that would have been it. I'm generally in agreement with this. I was very disappointed with Roman's game plan. I am hopeful they'll get it figured out, though. On your second point, everyone needs to take that into account much more than they are. The Giants are a solid team. They are going to be contending for their division. That team is no pushover. We're 2-2 everyone. Chill. If we are 2-4, that's a good time to be concerned.
  5. Oh yeah. That's probably a good call. Momentum turning great play, on Buffalo, 15 yard penalty, automatic kick in the balls.
  6. Too much real in this post!! Now I'm bummed. I just want the Bills to get one superbowl before I go apple picking on Sunday. Just one please!!
  7. I think people who know what they're watching out there get this. So many designed routes that were short of the line to gain. Looks like Roman is out thinking himself and trying to count on YAC from his play design. Call routes that get you where you need to be man. Also, occasionally, just let your QB play. Don't game plan him to death.
  8. And I mean, we're arguing over whether his finger tips touched slightly below the waist. The defender wasn't even CHOPPED down. Keep the flag in your pocket Nancy. It's football.
  9. Our punt return team is just abysmal. Every single punt, there are 3 different colored jerseys just running free waiting to tag Thigpen is he even dares a return. Can anyone on that team throw a block, or even slow someone down??
  10. He sure did. Excellent tackling, as well. Gilmore ought to be looking at what he's doing. He had a few nice breakups today, but some real soft tackling. Darby, on the other hand, was a beast.
  11. Hot take! Coming in hot!
  12. Horrible, horrible call. To throw that flag and take a touchdown off the board... just a soft, weak, NFL ref style call.
  13. Absolutely terrible play calling by roman today. Call plays that put you where you need to be. Trying to design for YAC is out thinking yourself
  14. Lot of game left Dork
  15. That is actually an awesome idea. If the Bills win the superbowl this year I'll get a custom "Whaley" #16 jersey
  16. But it was Fred's turn.
  17. Agreed. Part of it is for the refs to not make ticky tack penalty calls when the penalty had absolutely no bearing on the outcome of the play. Prime example: Brady is sacked by Dareus on a crucial third and long. He's sacked immediately, never had a prayer to get the ball out of his hand. Ref calls a really minor defensive hold on a DB. Automatic first down. Thats a situation where IMO they gotta let that go. That penalty changed the entire game, and its silly because Brady never had a chance to get the ball to the penalized player anyways. That's a ref inserting themselves into the game. Keep the flag in your pocket.
  18. So we have Taylor locked up through 2016, correct? So if he plays well through this season, this offseason would be the time to negotiate a long term contract. Does that sound right? I imagine locking him up sooner might provide better value if his stock keeps rising though.
  19. New York's only team 30 - New Jersey Giants 24
  20. You got it. Loving him and all of our acquisitions, actually. Also, his quote at the end "No where else I'd rather be."
  21. Damn, can't believe they were still available. Missed Tyrod on the waiver last week but got Dalton instead. I've had Karlos since week 1.
  22. Clutch. I had the claim in this week for him, but someone had higher waiver. Got Dalton instead, which was a lovely consolation prize. In my defense, I drafted Tyrod but had to drop due to other needs. Picked up Karlos after week 1. Feeling like a pretty smart cookie about that right now too.
  23. Everyone gets turf toe.
