  1. Stevie Johnson reeled in 6 catches yesterday for 82 yards and a TD. I watched most of the game, Rivers has a lot of talent to throw to between Keenan Allen and Ladarius Green, but Stevie was able to work himself into the game. Seemed to be on the same page with Rivers most of the day. Freddie rushed 3 times and caught one pass for the Hawks, totaling 29 yards. Not a headline grabbing day, but I think they like him in Seattle and the few times Fred did touch the ball, he picked up respectable yards.. I listened to part of the game on the radio and the local commentators seem to be fond of Jackson being in the rotation. Excited to see Spiller play for NO. He didn't suit up yesterday, something about Spiller that NO will learn to accept. But when he does play, I think he could be a big contributor. Anyone else I am missing?
  2. I dig the blazer as well. And I also don't understand the full button-up with no tie. He needs to wear that under his jersey. It would repel a D-lineman from a mile away
  3. Tim Brady breaks a rib when Dareus turns him into a pancake.
  4. I really don't think it matters. Rex has been coaching great defenses for years - if Darby gets burned early I'm sure he will make adjustments.
  5. Now that the games won't be blacked out they will let people start streaming it...
  6. I think it's one of those issues where it's hard for a coach to let someone go strictly because they are "injury prone". How do you know that it hasn't just been bad luck? He's been hit pretty hard on some of those injuries. Worst thing to do would be to cut him and see him succeed on another team. If a player has talent, you keep him around.
  7. For these reasons, college football takes an edge over the NFL. However I just can't get into the college game. I think I have some deep rooted hatred for schools pouring millions of dollars into their sports programs, only to charge students thousands of dollars to attend the school. Yes, the big schools make the money from sponsors. The smaller schools? Basically robbing their students.
  8. Luck better watch out Rex wants a peek at those feet Uncomfortable Game
  9. Saw this a couple days ago, thought it was a hilarious proposition (even if it was a false rumor) that fits this thread perfectly http://thebiglead.com/2015/09/07/tyrod-taylor-to-wear-custom-diamond-encrusted-mouthguard-for-first-nfl-start/ "Tyrod Taylor to Wear Custom Diamond Mouthguard in Season Opener"
  10. Vegas Odds: Vikings to SB: 15/1 Bills to SB: 20/1 If you think Vikings/Bills SB is probable, then you should lay down some cash and you could make some serious money
  11. Bills over Vikings? I'm all for the "sleeper" picks, but those are two...improbable teams to match up in the SB. Mainly saying that about the Vikings, of course
  12. I love that Ditka picks the Bears. Also love that he picks the Bills!
  13. Its hard to rack up more than a dozen first downs when you hit your WRs deep for 40+ years each play
  14. I formation, Shady bounces to the right side for 7 yards 15 first downs
  15. Good job papazoid, I made this prediction too, probably because I didn't read through all the guesses. before I posted mine. I guessed that the Bills would offer pennies over what JJ Watt makes and say you're now the second highest paid D lineman
  16. It's horse that no "experts" are held accountable for their mediocrity. At the end of each season, their bosses should compare their predictions (not just records, but all sorts of nonsense) with what actually played out. If they are way off the mark for multiple years, give someone else a shot.
  17. http://espn.go.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/20567/matt-cassel-bills-indicating-theyll-keep-three-quarterbacks 'Asked if the Bills were involved in trade talks involving either Cassel or Manuel, Ryan responded, "You really think I’m gonna get into that? I think you know the answer to that.' Ha. From the article it seems like Bills will keep 3 QBs. Nothing official though.
  18. I agree it it more difficult to fill than QB, but I wouldn't say there are more than 32 reliable kickers out there. Kickers have so much pressure and so much relies on them, I will refer you to our game against detroit last year. Detroit lost because their kicker had a bad day, and we won because Carpenter came through. We can't let a guy like Carp go. Maybe place him on IR for the first half of the season and pick up a scrub in the meantime? Especially with the new XP rule, reliable kickers like Carpenter dont come along very often
  19. Why are other fan boards so difficult on the eyes? Thank you TBD web designer for making threads easy to read.
  20. From the perspective of a millennial: Jim Kelly Freddy Jackson Mario Williams Eric Moulds Stevie Johnson I wish I could have been a fan for the super bowl era. Maybe my dad dressed me in Bills gear but that's the extent of my fan-dom before the playoff drought.
  21. Still lots of time for him to develop. CB takes a while to pick up in the NFL. It's a bummer that McKelvin is down, he needs to get back ASAP. I am confident in Darby as a CB3 but it may be shaky with him at CB2 right now.
  22. I think that's pretty harsh. It's not unusual to have favorite players on other teams - guys you liked in college, ex-bills, etc. This year I will be rooting for Fred Jackson and Stevie Johnson
