  1. Not to mention the Bills need to keep Manuel healthy at all costs
  2. After I moved to Buffalo to play football, only to be cut and move across the country again, I don't blame him for wanting to stay put. Bills would just demote him in 3 weeks anyway
  3. I am actually in support of two kickers. Anything to help the FG kicker focus more on kicking FGs. I think this week's games showed the importance of kickers. There were like 3 games that went into overtime this week, some of which included clutch FG kicks of 40+ yards
  4. It's the NFL saying #$@& it, everyone knows that all our players are criminals, why not make light of the situation?
  5. Adam Schein describes the worst 9 QB situations in the NFL http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000555560/article/texans-lions-49ers-head-nfls-most-problematic-qb-situations And proceeds to list 5 question marks at QB Tyrod Taylor and the Bills are not on this list It's a great feeling knowing that the Bills finally are on the right track with Tyrod at the helm. I still think he has a lot to work on, but he has shown potential. He didn't have a pretty game yesterday (minus the last quarter) but it wasn't entirely his fault. Let's see how he fares against a real defense next week. Hopefully he can string together a decent drive to give our D some rest for a change. Opening the game with 3 straight 3 and outs is going to put us in a hole real quick against Cincy EDIT: Whoa, thanks for merging. I didn't see this thread!
  6. I think after our wins against Indy and Miami the media was talking about how great we looked as we destroyed our opponents. Maybe undisciplined isn't the greatest adjective but we sure as hell didn't look good today. I'm actually not too thrilled about TBD ball-washing Taylor after his great fourth quarter performance, because he looked pretty sloppy in the first 3 Qs
  7. Reading that article makes me wish so badly that watkins and mccoy are healthy. we could dominate so much more on offense and take the pressure off our defense
  8. That's what I'm hoping for, and I could see it happening. But for every upset we pull off we're bound to give a game away. I'd be happy with 10-6 because I think our conference record may beat any other WC contender.
  9. Honestly I think we have the potential to win any of the remaining games. But I don't see us going better than 10-6, and the Bengals are a stronger team than the Giants, who severely outplayed us. We need a couple more games to find our rhythm.
  10. @ Tennessee Titans - W - Bills continue pattern of a wake-up call after ugly loss CINCINNATI BENGALS - L - Bengals put together a great team this year and we are not quite there yet @ Jacksonville Jaguars - W - Away game in neutral territory, Rex's D destroy's Doug's O-Line MIAMI DOLPHINS - W - Bills own the Fins, plain and simple @ New York Jets - L - Rex will be trash talking all week then drop a deuce upon return to his old team @ New England Patriots - L - I wish I could believe this is a W, but I'm not getting my hopes up after the week 2 beat down @ Kansas City Chiefs - W - I think we finally take one from KC this year HOUSTON TEXANS - W - This team is in disarray, until they figure out what's going on at QB I don't care if they have 11 Watts on D @ Philadelphia Eagles - W - McCoy is healthy and gets fired up for this game, runs for 150 yards and 2 TDs @ Washington Redskins - W - 'Skins are fighting for draft position at this point in the season DALLAS COWBOYS - L - Romo is back and ready to save the Cowboys. Probably too late for them but they'll be strong NEW YORK JETS - W - The Bills are finishing this season with a bang. 10-6 earns us a wild card spot in this year's weak AFC
  11. No doubt there are favorites in the NFL and the powerhouse teams tend to get close calls tip their way. No doubt some teams *cough* Patriots *cough* get away with cheating and are heralded as genius. But the game remains the most enjoyable and entertaining game to watch. Try staying awake watching a basketball or baseball game on TV, then you'll come back to football
  12. Can someone explain why this seems to fly under the radar? And why we keep getting screwed in this regard? This year already we have played NE on 10 days, NYG on 10 days, and we're about to play TEN on 14 days. I don't know what the numbers look like over the course of the season compared to other teams, but I know in years past we tend to draw the short end of the stick. This isn't supposed to be an excuse thread. NE probably destroys us anyway, and we beat ourselves against the giants. But come on, man...How many games have the 4-0 packers or the 3-0 Pats played against opponents with extra rest?
  13. Would have been a bummer to have had money on the lions today
  14. That's because a pile of leaves is arguably more durable than the Colts D-line
  15. I had to look this one up, I had no idea Nate was their QB coach.
  16. I don't think there's any debate as to its value. But you need a good QB to begin with in which to develop a younger one for the next generation. The teams with franchise quarterbacks are doing it. The ones without one don't exactly have much choice
  17. 6 for 6 with 3 TDs. Pretty damn good. It is amazing that we have only run 6 passing plays in the RZ though. I guess it makes sense since we've had so many bombs. Is it sustainable though? I can't wait to get Goodwin back, he and Taylor will be magic. Compared to Brady's 24 for 41 with 14 TDs. WTH EDIT: Was I reading this wrong? I guess "inside the 10" includes "inside the 20", so Taylor was 5 for 5 with 2 TDs. And Brady gets 16 for 25 with 8 TDs
  18. Well its fun to watch the first drive Wonder how long before it gets taken down
  19. As has been pointed out by Yolo, the Dolphins home field advantage doesn't exist. They actually might benefit from a neutrally loud crowd because at home they don't even get a loud crowd on defense. But realistically, yes it is messed up that the Fins lose a divisional home game. If it was the bills, I wouldn't be too happy Oooor you could look at it as beer and enemies. I know a local bar owner who is a Jags fan, he is going to keep the bar open through the night and we will watch the Bills/Jags game at 6:30am (we are west coast). It is probably my most anticipated game of the year
  20. Jet lag? Could be a handicap in a long season. However, I look at it as a free away game in neutral territory
  21. But then the media will be talking about how both teams were equally so good and neither offense could manage to get something going versus the stud defense.
