  1. If it were a mediocre 100 yards receiving game, I might agree with you. But Watkins made a number of key catches (game tying touchdown, just to name 1) to help win the game. I have to give the nod to Sammy.
  2. I love it. This team always keeps you on the edge of the seat. Glad it finally went our way...
  3. I have a tendency to look at it like the offense is a spoked wheel. Where the QB is the hub of the wheel, and all of the other players are the spokes in the wheel. If the hub is faulty (Manuel, hub under fabrication still) in any way, then the spokes can never be trued up (alleged locker room dissatisfaction with Manuel). It will be a rough ride. On the other hand, if the hub is in good working order (Orton / Manuel swap), then you can start to true the spokes up (chemistry, trust). As each spoke gets trued up, the ride will begin to smooth out (the current status of the offense, everybody seems to be behind it). Everything revolves around the hub. While I agree with you that it is a team effort, I feel that the majority of the responsibility rests with the QB.
  4. Gashed by a run? I think the longest run has been 16 yards, that was Detroit.
  5. If it was known by the poster that Bironas passed away, regardless of the reason, then IMO it is poor taste to make that type of comment. Talk of Detroit signing a kicker, knowing that the kicker is no longer alive, I guess I just don't understand. I'm not condoning Bironas' actions, as far as the drinking and driving aspect, and it is fortunate that nobody else was injured or killed. Still very sad though, that a dumb decision was made and the ultimate price was paid.
  6. Unless you had absolutely No idea about Bironas, this was a very tasteless comment, IMO http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/171168-rob-bironas-former-titan-kicker-killed-in-car-crash/page__st__60#entry3282222
  7. My take on it is that Sammy was referring to timing. Whether they have the timing in sync is another question.
  8. Especially when your defense gives you the ball back 3 more times.
  9. Bradham is having a field day out there, with his second sack of the day. This kid has turned into a real baller. I don't see how Tannehill will be able to "get up" after that one. Bradham is going f-ing nuts out there.
  10. Excerpt from article... "Working under Reich, Rivers completed a team-record and NFL-leading 69.5 pct. of his passes last season (378 of 544) for 4,478 yards (third-highest of his career) with 32 touchdowns (second-most of his career) and just 11 interceptions for a career and team-record-tying passer rating of 105.5" 11 interceptions last yr. Not too shabby.
  11. The core of the team is young, keep them young together and they grow together. It only gets better from here on out
  12. My magic 8 ball just gives me stupid answers like "Yes, No, maybe". Any Bills related question and it always gets stuck between answers. Even my 8 ball is afraid to make predictions... WTF
  13. Then by that logic, doesn't that play to the Bills advantage as well? Or are you referring to our D? In which case, then both teams would seemingly be at an advantage and disadvantage at the same time. I guess it doesn't really matter whose D you were referring to, the end result is the same.
  14. Not sure about his BBQ restaurant, but my BBQ went great. The Bears were burnt by Mr. Jackson, and a nice little jab by "the oldest running back in the NFL".
  15. The only way Orton comes in today is if EJ is injured. Marrone has preached that he was behind EJ 110%. That would not send a very good message if he pulled him halfway through the first game. Of course that is just my opinion
  16. I've got about 15 people coming over to the house tomorrow for a cookout and to watch the game... Normally I just chill with the family and watch the game. but I figured that since this is the year the Bills turn it around, so will I.
  17. Willis Magahee.. draft a Guy in the 1st rd. that will sit on a bench for the season. Left me scratching my head.
  18. Maybe that's Where I messed up... never watched Star Wars.
  19. On the contrary though, you know what they say, If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. If they are trying to build a winning culture, wouldn't they be using more positive reinforcements. Teammates speak highly in public about a QB and the fans get into it, in turn feeding the Support to the team. Players believe more in themselves, and therefore play with more confidence.
  20. All you did was point out how many other posters have strayed from the OP's original question, in turn, further proving my point. And you're halfway right, I haven't been posting for very long. But that does not mean that I haven't been reading for quite some time. So to assume that I don't "understand", as you say, is actually a pretty shallow assumption to make. As far as you "still waiting to hear one", again, the OP was asking fellow board members for their knowledge of teammates public support regarding EJ Manuel. Yet you continue to ask him for his teammates public displeasure about EJ Manuel. This is the exact opposite of what the original post was about. To answer the OP's question, I did a quick search and was unable to find any public statements from any of his teammates regarding their support. I am sure if I dug deeper, I would have found something. However, the fact that one would have to dig so deep to find public statements about his teammates support, suggests that they do not have a lot of faith in him. The lack of statements speaks volumes, IMO.
