  1. I've heard others say the same, what is this based on? From what I heard and it sounds like you as well, he's shown nothing. Nothing.
  2. Sure, I'm with you on it. And TT has been on the sidelines with Flacco for 4 years, he is a veteran that worked with a Super Bowl winning QB and a solid organization, i think he has learned a lot. I haven't heard one good about O'Leary this camp, what do you like about him? I don't think liking Karlos Williams puts you in the minority. I have a hard time believing that an experienced OC and QB coach can't offer game time advice because of either time or knowledge. On the other side of the ball, I often see Belichek find time to talk to his defenses and he is a Head Coach.
  3. That's what the QB coach, OC are for.
  4. I think one other aspect of all this gets overlooked. The rule about PSI and having the teams be in control of game balls all week was put into place, at the urging of Brady and Peyton, in order to allow the QB's play at the highest level they can achieve. They have control over PSI, they can scuff the balls all week, break them in to their liking. It seems like a poorly written rule, but the point of it was to allow each QB to 'customize' the game ball , within limits, to whatever suits them best. If you allow this, they should have more leway in PSI range. It's overblown because it's the Patriots and Brady. It's time to put this to rest and concentrate on more important things , like the regular season for our Bills.
  5. Four games was ridiculous. The Patriots are a shady organization, but this did not warrant a suspension. They lost draft picks, that is plenty of punishment.
  6. Isn't every player that is cut perfect for Belicheck?
  7. Did I miss something, did he not have a great career in Philly?
  8. Yeah, no other fans are dumb enough to waste time on something so ridiculous to make themselves look like children. Next, they hold their breaths until they turn blue.
  9. Can't be true, read all the posts and the BN, he's going to the Patriots. They will pick his brain and learn our offensive system.
  10. along with Williams and Dixon.
  11. I have no idea what type of coach he would be. Just don't totally understand why people assume he would be good enough to be an NFL coach, or that he would even want to coach. And I do think he will sign with another team very soon, so his career will continue.
  12. You obviously haven't spoken to me or anyone else I've talked to about it. It's really not that difficult to comprehend the football logic behind the move. Why do you not think the move is to justify Whaley drafting Karlos Williams, or signing FA Boobi Dixon, or trading for McCoy? Why is it Brown?
  13. how do you know he would be a good coach?
  14. Belichek is also know for being pretty ruthless when it comes to releasing star players a year too soon as opposed to a year too late, but if he does sign Jackson, it won't be for $2.5 million.
  15. I believe he was much younger in those games. It does make a difference.
  16. NE is pretty deep at RB right now. I know they go through quite a few, but still remember, Fred is 34 and there isn't a high demand for a RB that age. They don't stay healthy and he hasn't stayed healthy.
  17. I would think cutting a 34 year old RB is more long term, than short sighted.
  18. I see no reason not to take Rex on his word. It was a fair competition, now the management will decide. Sometimes(most times), the fans make something out of nothing.
  19. What's the point of a 'smokescreen'?
  20. I agree that the QB's have looked very good, but still need to take it with a grain of salt. It's preseason and defenses don't game plan. No way , with the offense on the field today(no Watkins, Woods, Harvin, McCoy) does this team move up and down the field for 500+ yards. Matt Simms marches the team right down the field for a TD. However, the QB's made every pass they were asked to make, and did everything we needed them to do in the games. I'm encouraged, but I wonder how the coaches gauge their performances in preseason games, which don't really show too much. The demands on the QB's during the regular season cannot be compared to the demands of a preseason game. Not until they do it in the regular season, which is how it should be handled.
  21. Cassel was hurt last year, Manuel missed time his rookie season with a couple injuries. Every QB has a high risk of injury, this is why if TT starts, it's crazy to trade Manuel.
  22. Too many posts to go through here, but has anyone entertained the thought the EJ is battling for the backup position with his start tomorrow. My guess is they've decided on their starter, but not on the backup.
  23. It's amazing that this is so hard for so many to comprehend.
  24. from reporters, this was earlier in camp.
