  1. why won't he tell us the exact time, what's he hiding?
  2. My logic is having Vegas as a distraction argument is not valid, because conversely, having no real distractions in buffalo doesn't necessarily help the players. It really shouldn't be that confusing, maybe I didn't state it clear enough. Couldn't agree more. I'll be traveling from Phoenix for the first Bills game out there.
  3. Why no loyal fanbase? You don't think the 2 million people in the area will support the team. The city will certainly be a fun distraction for the players, but it doesn't mean they won't be good players still. Having a 'no distraction' city like Buffalo hasn't helped the Bills too much over the past 57 years. Apologies to Dave and Busters and Applebees.
  4. People seem to ignore the fact that Clark County, where Vegas is, is one the fastest growing counties in the country and has a population over 2 million. You certainly will get Raider fans traveling, but there are plenty of locals to support the team.
  5. You think Cleveland would give up, for our #10, their #12, 3rd round pick AND Gordon? Buffalo may be a better organization than cleveland, but so is every other team in the league right now. Doesn't say much , does it? We have our share of drug suspensions too.
  6. If he comes back and 'crushes' it, he will be worth more than that. A performance like he had earlier in his career is All Pro type play.
  7. There are none at the new hockey arena. Haven't heard anything about the football stadium, probably too early in the planning.
  8. Look at the expansion fee for hockey($500 million) and relocation fee in football($350 million), that'll turn you into a believer. Plus state of the art arena/stadiums.
  9. Maybe a 'different' level would be more accurate. Professional leagues were scared to go to Vegas for obvious reasons, but I think deep down they all felt it would be a big thing to have a presence there. We'll see what happens. It won't be boring for sure.
  10. I'm in Phoenix. Already planning to see the Sabres there.
  11. happens every year, nothing different in the value of 5th round picks than it was 10 years ago.
  12. I think all the poster needed to say is that it would be a pretty fun weekend if you went to see your team play in Vegas and just leave it at that.
  13. you have to admit to there being some pretty uninteresting threads started recently. I've been avoiding the site recently because it's been fairly useless recently. Not every thread needs to save the world, but some posters here provide some good information. Too much garbage will discourage people from using this site and contributing good info.
  14. Yeah, would hate to be an opposing teams fan in that stadium, could get ugly.
  15. I believe they will stay in Oakland until the new stadium is ready.
  16. legs, arms, hands....
  17. You need to educate yourself a bit. Not to get too off track on this thread, but I'm a vegan and my protein level is right where it should be , same with every other vegan I know.
  18. His diet being vegan certainly implies not eating meat. I guess that's a stretch for you to figure out. Enlighten me, what should he change about his diet to get bigger?
  19. to say you can only gain weight by eating meat is absurd. There are many exceptional vegan athletes.
  20. how about F the guys that will be done with this team. who needs them?
  21. Mike Quick selected the pick right after Tuttle- adding insult to injury.
  22. how much more growth can we expect?
  23. the sign Nassib thread is sure to follow.
  24. Only because we took Tony Hunter with our other first round pick, before Kelly. They really even screwed that first round up, but got lucky. Tony Hunter over Kelly and Marino.
  25. I did not know that. Such a sad story. Great ESPN special on him some years ago. Art Modell in tears talking about him.
