  1. yeah, having a player at every position
  2. that's another post you are totally wrong about. Ralph wouldn't pay him what Knox wanted on a new deal.
  3. This isn't about hating Ralph(i'm not sure 'hate on' is grammatically correct) I can like someone as a person and still find him to be an subpar owner. I started going to games in 1970, I remember the bad times and there were a lot of them. Ralph seemed to be a better person after the super bowl era, but ask anyone around back then and he was pretty much universally disliked in Buffalo. He turned out to be a real nice guy, just didn't have enough on the field success for most of us long time fans. If you're referring to the Knox era, getting rid of Knox was Ralph's biggest blunder in his time as owner, in my opinion.
  4. If you're content with Ralph's 50+ year record, good for you. No I don't think my 'new' team, whatever that means, will lose 4 straight super bowls. The totality of his tenure is poor. Yes, a few bright spots, mids 60's and the Super Bowl run. That's about it.
  5. it just wasn't much.
  6. why should this even matter. And it's not a slap in the face.
  7. Don't know how he looked early in his career and what held him back, but Williams looked pretty awful last season.
  8. Great we roll it over and people will still B word about cap space. If McCoy gets hurt, I would say there's a good chance MG will be the missing piece for sure. Who is our backup now?
  9. is it underestimating if the player performed poorly? Or is it accurately estimating his ability? Apparently NE didn't want to wait for that 'diamond in the rough' to be available after being discarded. But what do they know about talent evaluation?
  10. I guess all the armchair capoligists will be happy. What good is having the money available if they don't spend it.
  11. he's still very important to the offense. 9 TD's are pretty valuable.
  12. Was at that game with 2 of my brothers. 1000 yards total offense. Amazing game. Just remembered Kelly's last second TD in Miami, opening day 1989.
  13. Bills vs Raiders- Sunday Night game in 1990. Scored 24 points in the 4th qtr. Blocked punt return, Odomes stole the ball and ran in for a TD, I think both teams were undefeated at the time. it was, he also made an amazing catch, 1 handed, diving catch the play or 2 before.
  14. mine too, add the win against Miami in 1980.
  15. Yeah, December is ridiculous.
  16. Until we become a good team the schedule will always look tough. We will usually play teams that had more wins than we did. However, I think if McDermott and his staff aren't total idiots, we will be better than last season, so until then, let's try to be optimistic.
  17. most fans used to want home games in december, apparently, we once had a home field advantage and the December games were important.
  18. Pegula did hire Rex, so it's easy to be a bit concerned here.
  19. I was just making light of the schedule and they did make the playoffs last season. Will have an opportunity to improve in the offseason like every other team. it was a joke. We did lose twice to them last season. Does every person on this thread that predicts from 3-6 wins next season also hate the bills and idolize every other player, coach, blah blah blah
  20. NE and Miami will have already clinched playoff spots by week 16, so they'll rest their starters and we will win the last 2 games on the road.
  21. maybe you start as an assistant GM? At least gain a bit of experience.
  22. What about Cal Peterson - I would expect him to go the free agency route, just like Vescey.
  23. Well, the Pegula's are shattering your theory so far.
  24. But you don't have much time to do it. Every team provides the resources... Pegula hasn't figured out how to either, get the right people in charge or how much time to give them.
