    He can't do anything else. We need a short yardage specialist. Dimarco doesn't carry the ball at all. Also, no guarantee he makes the final roster.

    I still think Taylor was the only reasonable option they had. I believe they can make the playoffs with him, but the rest of the team needs to improve. I know he's not great, but he's capable of doing some nice things, maybe he will improve this year after a step back last season. We had a crappy head coach and 2 OC's last season. That can never be a good thing.

    If you are correct on Jones being a pipe dream, and you probably are, It wouldn't surprise me to see them draft a QB this year. And it sounds like Hoyer is the backup plan.

    I think the obvious point is and has been for a long time, our defense is the reason we had a crappy season and we fired the coaching staff. Those with TT derangement syndrome have never been able to recognize that.

    Fair enough, we'll just disagree a bit on this one. To me, you nothing better than a great O-Line. Even if we had a good one last year, I like getting better in that area.

    but you want to pay a CB $12+ million who was a starter on a incredibly poor defense. We would be improving our offense, maybe not have our QB get hit so often. Maybe be able to open up the passing game by having one of the highest rated pass blocking tackles on the team. Gilmore is gone, he's too expensive.

    Hard to say one position is more valuable than any other, but offensive tackle is an area that you can't hide a weak player. It's extremely important. I shouldn't really even have to mention that.

    one of the picks was a 7th rounder, so that's not a big deal. This happens to every team. The Kujo pick will look bad if he's gone this year. If he's still on his rookie deal, he'll have a chance to stick around.
