A few differences , both drafted in the same year, Walsh was in the supplemental draft. Walsh started the season because Aikman had a broken finger, as soon as he was healthy, he started. I think this situation is unique, because of a new head coach and a GM on the hot seat. If you draft Murray and he's not good enough to start, especially after Rosen's difficulties last season, Keim is gone.

If you take a QB #1 overall, you basically have to give him the job.

How else will they learn of them? How did you learn about these players or other teams signings? You looked them up and studied.

Not saying we should change or not change, but regardless of where we are ranked, we do not have anything close to a championship defense, so we need to keep all options open. But I wouldn't personally recommend changing.

Was this really necessary? Since you generally don't draft for special teams, you have 2 other options, offense and defense. They will address both , i guarantee it. I'm glad I don't have the time or desire to write such a piece that hardly anyone will bother reading in it's entirety.

I think they draft linemen in order to give them at least one year of practicing with the team without the pressure to start when not ready. I can't imagine Beane hit on all of these free agents. That's why , except for Morse, the contracts are affordable to get out of soon. We have a few years of cap space to play with before Allen and White get potential big deals. Work the cap on getting both lines in good shape.

Both lines should get the most attention. Since we have our QB, those are the 2 most important areas. Can never be strong enough there.

If he continues to be a top CB , he'll be getting $20+ per season if he waits out the rest of his rookie deal.
