  1. In all seriousness... what does the league and the Refs have against Buffalo? There hasn’t been a game all season where we don’t get every ticky tack call against us.
  2. This ...and getting cute with the overall game plans, benching guys and playing guys that haven’t been active in weeks. These guys aren’t interchangeable puzzle pieces. They’re human beings that play with emotion, passion and get into a rhythm. Pick your best players, your best plays and execute better than the other guy.
  3. All that’s left for me is to see them crush our enemies, see them driven before us, and hear the lamentation of their women!
  4. That’s how the game ended to me... rushed. I get wanting to snap the ball before the defense can think. But in that situation... one play is all you have. Call the time out, catch your breath and run the play. I’m gonna have to rewatch the game just to see what exactly I missed! I still say kick the FG and take your chances in OT. I know we hadn’t stopped them all 2nd half, but that gives you the best odds at winning.
  5. This has big one of my biggest concerns with our coaching staff. They can come up with great game plans. But then sometimes, they don’t! The issue is, when they don’t, they’re extremely slow to adjust, if at all. Quite clearly the defensive game plan wasn’t working last night and they seemed unwilling to change things up. Another issue, for me, is that they seem to love their situational players to an extreme. Benching 2 DLinemem that have been consistent and playing well for players that haven’t is the definition of over thinking it. Sometimes I wish they’d just line up and play who has been producing rather than pulling the hidden ringer off the bench. it’s all great when it works, but when it doesn’t it makes the second guessing go into overdrive! Lol No... you’re not. I don’t wanna start bashing the Refs again, but they miss more holds of Bills players than seems reasonable. Heck, Jerry Hughs could probably get a rope tied around him and dragged down and they wouldn’t call it. The league hates him.
  6. Kick the FG every time in that situation!!
  7. I don’t have any answers.. but as someone without cable. And living in an area that doesn’t get good over the air digital network stations... the prime time games are the worst! You can watch via a few apps, but they never let you then hook up and stream to the TV. So it’s either watch the game on my phone/iPad. Or go to an illegal stream (that lets you put video on a tv). But the illegal feeds all have lags, and sporadic drops. Bottom line.. the prime time games suck more than most
  8. Excellent post and all very true. But, IMO, this all just means the league needs to simplify the rules/penalties, not add to them every year...especially with more subjective calls. There’s lots of ways they could improve the accuracy and efficiency of refereeing a game. More refs, Simpler rules, Microchips in the ball, are just but a few examples. The problem is the league is reluctant to do anything of substance other than further complicate things and send out memos... after a crew screws up badly. There’s literally Billions of dollars at stake each week. And they can’t do anything to make it more fair? Or they don’t want to? I think that’s where most people are.. they’re fine with penalties..even bad ones. But make it fair. And far too often the calls seem to drive a specific narrative... either for betting or for ratings.
  9. What is EJ doing? I was wondering earlier.. watching Geno start and thinking that it’s hard to believe he’s still in the league and EJ isn’t. i nerved thought EJ was ..that.. bad. He just came to Buffalo at the wrong time. Dude is huge. He ain’t running down field to hit no one! ... Collinsworth has just gotten bad. He’s pretty much sounding like some old guy drinking, half drunk and making crap up it comes to him with no filter.
  10. In all seriousness.... how many times has a team gone on the road, a player go to a bar, and have that many home team fans there to party with? It’s kinda ridiculous.
  11. I agree. I said prior to the game... I thought the key would be Allen not missing on the 2-3 opportunities for a big play. Turns out he had about 4 shots and connected on every single one. That’s huge! He didn’t over throw any of them... perhaps he under threw a little. I’ll take that any game and all game. It was a 61 yard gain! That’s the kind of play that breaks a defense.
  12. We’ve scored over 35 points how many weeks in a row? We’ve beaten a team 40 to nothing? And yet we’re still waiting for the offense to get it together or for them to obliterate some team? If we’re not happy with double digit wins and scoring 4-5 touch downs per game, then I’m afraid we’ll never be happy. They don’t have to score on every drive to be successful. They don’t need players to lead the league in their respective categories to be successful.
  13. But is winning like this sustainable?
  14. I didn’t make it through the first KC drive before the F bomb tirades started. And the exasperated pacing began. ***** Refs!! It’s not my fault.
  15. I think this is the point that so many analysts and fans don’t get. It’s a long season, and in 2021 it’s the longest season ever. You need to have guys healthy and rested come playoff time. How do you do that? Limit snaps during the season. Draw up game specific plans to give players rest and highlight the strengths of other players. We have a deep enough roster, that we should be able to do this and still win games. So they seem to be doing it. Sure the individual stats may suffer, but the team’s goal is hopefully achieved.
  16. And this is what’s wrong with the world. People can read or see the exact same thing, yet they’ve already dug in on a preconceived narrative. Hence nothing can change their mind and they still disagree about what is right in front of them despite clear evidence to the contrary.
  17. At one point, I believe the Bills had 24 points on 24 offensive plays. At another point, the Chiefs had 69 offensive plays vs 35 for the Bills. Seems like the game plan was to score fast on O. Then let the D wear the Chiefs offense out with long drives. it worked to perfection.
  18. And that is the point with the Refs and their play calls. It’s the situational reference. How many times did a ticky tack call give the Chiefs a new set of down? How many non calls ended a Bills drive? 3rd and 2, pass to Diggs. Even Collinsworth says it.. yeah Diggs was held there, but he’s gotta make that catch. That is the different standard. This is the difference between this team and the Fitzmagic teams of lore. We finally have a team ...and a QB especially.. that can overcome the Refs biased calls. We finally have a team that refuses to let it get them better of them, and in fact, looks like it just pisses them off more! That 4th quarter drive!! The chiefs are doing the Chief things... they picked the pace up. Made the plays. The Refs practically gift them a score. What does Buffalo do... when they needed it most, Josh put the team on his back. Hurdles defenders, makes the plays and fires an absolute bullet for the TD to seal the Chiefs fate! It was a thing of beauty that drive. Not just because of the plays that were made, but because of the situational context within that moment. They needed that drive..and they refused to let the league take it from them! Go Bills!
  19. Some guys can throw a good shovel pass.... some guys can leap defenders in a single bound.
  20. We have a team that is good! I hope every Bills fan realizes that. Finally, we can beat the best teams in the league... and the league itself. The team kept their cool and over came more bogus penalties than I thought possible, all while completely confusing the Chiefs. This was worth staying up for. Thank you Buffalo Bills!
  21. Yes. He made it sound as though the chiefs let us win.
  22. I just can’t imagine how this screws up the players. If we hate it this bad... what are they doing!?
  23. Yes it is! We finally have a GM and entire organization that understands the proper way to build a team. Its why this team is good and should remain good for years to come.
  24. Until Monday morning, after the Bills beat them on their own field. Then they’ll be a troubled team with injuries. And the Bills will have been lucky to play them while they’re in such a slump.
  25. Completely agree. We all want a Super Bowl win. However, there’s a lot of football between now and then that we should enjoy. And to continually move the goalposts on what this team needs to do to be considered good, just seems like deep rooted BBFS that we as a fan base need to let go of.
