You don't like the "stand back and let the guys catch the ball then blow one or 2 tackles" defense? It's been a staple in Buffalo for years and came back today in full force.

I think that too many people are jumping on the bash JP bandwagon. This loss is squarely on the defense. They looked absolutely horrendous in all aspects. Bashing JP does nothing to address the problem with this loss. JP is the backup. He came in and looked like a backup. If he's cut tomorrow, quite honestly, it changes nothing that matters to this team's success this season. In many ways, I'd love to see him traded soon so that we at least get something before he walks after the season. I'm sure Chroise could have led our guys to just as bad a loss. Problem is and was... defense. For 4 consecutive weeks we've allowed teams to come out and get the early lead. What is Fewell going to do about that? That's my question.

Sure good teams have bad days all the time. In the grand scheme of things this loss may mean little. Granted... it would have been nice to see a little more effort by the defense. But, no way do we press the panic button yet.

I think we watched different games for the most part.

I'm not sure I can say the 3rd play of the game was the turning point. I'd say it was somewhere in the 2nd quarter when we continually gave up 3rd and long on the slant, allowing the Cards to calmly march down the field and score at will.

This loss is squarely and solely on the Defense. Period. End of Discussion. The friggin horrendous non-challenge by DJ was astounding though. What the hell is he saving the timeout for? They haven't stopped the Cards all day. Say what anyone wants about JP, but no way the defense wouldn't just let the Cards move right back down the field and score again. The Defense has absolutely sucked balls since the opening drive.

Gus Johnson. He makes a kneeldown sound like the most exciting play of the day.

I'd love to see this body part conversion chart that the NFL has. I'm not sure he was in, nor that he had possession. Man its so much better watching those calls when its a non Bills game.

Holy cow! There's tonight's highlight play. Rosenfelds run on 3rd and 8, trys to hurdle a few Colt defender and gets helicoptered; loses the ball. Colts pick it up and run back for the score. Colts down by 3.

True dat. I never quite got all the Schaub lovefest. More and more he's falling right into that mold of great backup that just doesn't get it done as a starter.

Ravens moving the ball good. Finnegan from the Titans gets another personal foul and his own guy (Bullock) starts pushing him around telling him to calm down. The Titans are not looking very disciplined ,to say the least. Ravens on the 5 yard line looking to score. edit: another stupid penalty on the Titans. Wow.

That's what I don't understand. Why not take his friggin head off? Plus, you know it's a run... so stack the middle and put 2 guys on Ricky going in motion. Ravens just blow the 2 minute drill and then miss a pretty easy field goal.

I'm sorry. The Titans are looking rough - 4 penalties on the Titans on one drive just letting the Ravens go down the field one penalty at a time. Looks like the Titan defense is trying to prove they're better than Ray Rays

I'm flippin, but starting out with the Titans/Ravens. edit: Titans were looking good moving the opening drive down the field. Ngata just tipped a pass and Ravens intercepted.

That's what I keep telling myself, as well. A loss isn't that big of a deal. I think going into the season we all would have readily taken a 4-1 start. That being said.... man, would 5-0 feel good! while we sit back and relax for a week. The Bills can definitely win this game. But, I don't think it'll be easy for them. The Cards are going to really want to win to get some confidence back. And after 2 weeks on the road, I see them coming out pumped. So, the Bills will, once again, have to survive the first quarter and then just continue to turn it on.

Yeah.. and Carter just picked Fitzgerald to be his game breaker. The guy definitely seems to think we suck ass. here's to proving that guy wrong. Just thing 2 weeks from now - how many people will picks the Bills over the Chargers?
