  1. I think the Bills are beginning to gain some measure of respect. There have been numerous pundits throughout this week that have picked the Bills to win this week. However, AZ is not a fluff team and the the 2 teams are relatively evenly matched in many areas. Consequently, there have also been numerous pundits that have picked the Cards to win. Yes, we're 4-0; but they're at home. I expect a much closer game than many here are predicting.
  2. Interestingly, James is ranked 12th in the league [71attmpts / 277totyds / 3.9avg / 69.2ypg] which places him one spot above Lynch who is at 13th in league [79attmpts / 275totyds / 3.5avg / 68.8ypg]. Arizona as a team, however, is ranked 25th [108 attempts / 348 total yards / 3.2avg / 87.0ypg] while Buffalo is ranked 20th [116attmpt / 408 totyds / 3.5avg / 102.0ypg] Apparently, Jackson is the difference maker as he ranks 42nd in the league and the Cards don't have a backup RB in the top 50. So, as a team, the Bills have an edge (no pun intended) in running; however, the Edge is marginally outproducing the Beast. Lynch does have 4 touchdowns to James' 2. Conclusion, I really think they try to establish a running game tomorrow. Hopefully, we're ready and can make them one dimensional.
  3. Bask in the Chroise and you too shall see the boundless glory of our QB's salvation.
  4. Bite your tongue before someone reads this and gives us a slug on the side of the helmets.
  5. I'd cut the trees down.
  6. Why would Manning even be on the list?
  7. Nope. With all the money going to those overrated guys, we should have won at least 7 games by now. (Of course, I'm being sarcastic. I donn't want to be accused of using Crayonzian logic.)
  8. Yep, we're building a rather impressive list of overpaid players: Walker Dockery Schobel Kelsay Reed (not so much overpaid as much as just being paid when he should be cut) Evans And one player that we should overpay: Peters (of course, once he's paid, he'll become overpaid) I just wish we could sign players that could win us some games.
  9. What's that saying about you can't please all the people all the time? It is soooo true. Throughout the summer and training camp, we have to read post after post saying, pay the man, Ralph is cheap, the Bills are a farm team. Now, they pay the man and the other side chimes in - that's too much, he's not worth it, Ralph's overpaying. I really wish I had the time to research and track the posters to see who falls into which category. There's only one thing to not like about this deal - it's only 4 years. I wonder if that was what was hanging it up? Either that or the last month convinced the FO to pay Lee the money he was asking for. Lee is a key to our offense. Lee is a top wide out. There's no one you're going to bring in or draft that will fill his shoes in the short term. Why worry about the money? It's not ours and we're not in salary cap trouble.
  10. Watched it, it was good... but it does indeed still hurt. A lot.
  11. Like a moth to a flame.. I have no choice. I have to watch.
  12. Statistics are a tool for interpretation.
  13. I disagree here. They've dropped 2 in row now. They definitely don't want to lose a 3rd game with the Cowboys after that. A 4 game skid would be disastrous. So who is the easier team to beat - the Bills or the Cowboys? The Bills are perceived as a lesser team (like it or not). If I'm the Cards, I'm putting everything I can into beating the Bills to ensure they end the losing streak and get some confidence going into the Cowboy game. My concern is that we see another desperate team pulling out all the tricks to try and get a win.
  14. Actually, if he has a bad game against an NFC team (Cardinals), that actually helps us. Therefore, he would get more money. So, if Lee is smart he'll have a bad game next week and pull himself out of the game by half time. What part of winning to an NFC hurts our playoff tie-breaker scenario don't you understand?
  15. I would guess that lawyers will have the final say in that.
  16. Ok... who answers that call? I would have turned my phone off and started raiding the equipment room.
  17. To myself would work. Seriously. We need to hire a good accountant or firm or someone that can handle money. I'm just good at spending it.
  18. We may be. Hurricanes are good for us. It's terrible to say, I know. I'm looking to replace some folks this year. Willing to live in the south? He's been on all sorts of weight loss programs and such. Doctor ordered and overseen mostly. You name it, he's done it. He's actually lost weight. So, getting him down to 350ish is seen as a positive sign.
  19. As was posted, they stated during the MNF game that Davis would be interviewing HC candidates this week, but still had no plans to fire Kiffin. !?! Sounds stupid, I know; but I'm fairly certain that's what I heard. On NFL Network, after the game, they had the former Raider GM guy talking (forget his name at the moment, but he's on Total Access from time to time). He said while he was there in the late 90's, Davis liked to run the franchise through "fear". That each week, after a loss, he would have the entire coaching and FO staff thinking they would be fired if they lost again. So, his take was this Kiffin deal is no big deal for Davis. The only problem is that somehow this time it's gotten into the media. Seriously, who would want that job for anything other than a stepping stone to a real football team?
  20. Not that I'm endorsing either version; however, if given the choice of the 2, I would take the Pink version over the Faith version any day of the week. They're obviously trying to replicate the fun, raucous imagery of the MNF Hank song. In no way does Faith Hill portray wild and crazy fun time about to be had. For those that dislike Hank's MNF version... remember the year they tried the various hip hop/pop groups each week. Now that was horrendous.
  21. This is exactly what I was thinking. I've called 2 dealers to see what they can do and should hear something soon. Right now it looks like this will be my best (and costly) option. But what the hey... if you can't spend money, why make it. That was my first thought! Buy him a treadmill then a new car in 6 months. That's what my first thought was. But, seeing his current vehicle's interior, he definitely needs something more. He's our business manager. So, he spends most days behind a desk (in a special made chair). However, being the great outfit that we are, we give everyone a company vehicle. His is 5 or 6 years old and pretty well ragged out - Especially the interior driver side seat. I think he has a Yukon (some big SUV gas guzzling thing). He's had to just deal with it, but we're having a decent fall and thought it nice to reward him with a shiny new vehicle.
  22. I have a guy who's large. Large. About 350lbs. Does anyone know where you can get cars/suvs customized for large people with heavy duty seats, etc.? ??
  23. I propose that the Ravens wear the Browns uniforms as their throwbacks.
  24. I knew we could take 'em! Thanks.
