Exactly! The closest we get is Oliver. IMO, if we get to the Super Bowl it's because Ed plays out of his mind.

I love the way the’ve built the roster on offense. It's worked! I think they tried a similar approach on defense but keep missing that key player. They wanted it to be Von... He got injured. Then Milano... Injured. Ed Oliver? He's inconsistent and to easily neutralized. Without that one key difference maker on defense, we end up with a very good defense with a lot of good players. But noone that can step up and take over a game when it 's needed.

I think the forgotten point is that we haven’t had a fully healthy D since …49rs game? They’ve been testing one or more injured players since then. Plus, this will be the first time that we’re fully healthy going in to the playoffs in recent memory. Hopefully they stay that way! But, that’s what has me cautiously optimistic. Being fully healthy and all the day 1 starters playing is pretty big. They still have to execute and draw up plans to beat the best QBs and RBs in the league. But no excuses this time. If the articles are so bad that you wouldn’t pay 5cents, why are you upset that you can’t read them?

The offense and Josh have never been a problem in the post season. I don’t see why this year is any different. If anything, I suspect other teams will have to figure out ways to keep pace. The Defense will be what determines just how far our season goes.

Agreed. Give most all the starters the week off and treat it like the bye. BUT…they can do that and still let Josh start, hand it off a few times to keep his Ironman streak alive. I would do that… and try to get Cook his yards to get him to 1000. The only caveat to not giving the starters the week off would be.. do you do some light practices with plays for the playoffs? And essentially give the Pats game zero thought or prep.

At this point… I’m ready to get to the playoffs! It doesn’t matter who we draw. I don’t think Josh will be denied… he’s just playing too good. It’s all going to come down to the defense. Keep whoever we play under 30 and Josh will do the rest.

I’ll say it again. All this MVP talk is just hype. The media needs something to talk about. That’s it. And the only reason Lamar is in the conversation is because they gave it to him when he clearly didn’t earn it… now that he has better stats. In the end…. Just beat them all in the playoffs. We heard all season.. they were lucky and would lose. Now all we have to hang our hats on us they’re gonna rest starters and be rusty. Someone is going to have to go to arrowhead and beat them. And there’s only 2 more teams that will have a shot to do it. I hate that they always seem to get a cakewalk to the championship game. But they do because they’re a good team. Sucks that as soon as we started being great KC is always just a bit better.. and only one team gets the bye now.
