Whaley was a pretty good GM IMO. He has had some offers. FWIW, he can go back to the Steelers at any point. They think very highly of him. He added talent. Whaley’s mistake was that he didn’t cross all of his “t’s” and dot all of his “I’s.” His biggest mistake as a GM was not having an out in the Dareus contract. There had to be some recourse if he was suspended (again).

I’m trying to figure out when it’s acceptable to ask all of the Petermaniacs for an apology? We said that he sucked and took heat. He sucks. Is anyone going to be bold enough to own it and admit that he is trash?

That wasn’t his plan!! Come on, you must not be that naive. What happened and what he wanted to happen may have been 2 different things but he wasn’t trying to be .500ish. That is just what happened. FWIW, there is little to no chance that this team is .500ish.

I feel like some of us are owed an apology. We said that Peterman sucked. We took some heat. We were right. Everyone wanted him to do well. We just didn’t all expect it. I for one am happy that we can put this garbage behind us.

Peterman’s NFL career is almost over. He’s had more of an opportunity than he deserved and he is bad. He may (emphasis on may) kick around as a backup. He may be selling insurance. The guy just can’t play at this level.

Edmunds has played a really good half of football.

Ha ha, I had a draft open yesterday to respond in the gambling thread. I must not have sent it. I was going to give a money line winner (UB +165) and a longshot that lost (Bowling Green + a lot). I was also going to give Danny Garcia by KO (+350). I searched and didn’t see it posted. You might be better off :). I just used a fake address in a state where it allowed it. I withdraw to bitcoin. I didn’t see the game (just highlights). UB has a lot of talent. Their o/u win total for the year was 6!! That was an absolute gift. They were +1000 to win the MAC early (I got them at +750). That’s just a team that I’m going to use for a little while until people notice. They play Eastern Michigan (who won at Purdue yesterday) at home next week. They go to Rutgers the week after. The line isn’t out yet but I’m riding them.

Ha ha, I got UB at +165. In terms of the Bengals, I honestly just think that they are the better team. I expect them to win. I took the extra 10% instead of the 2.5 points for that reason. I think that the Bengals win by more than a score.

Mac Miller was a super talented guy. It’s awful to see. For those of you that don’t think addiction is a disease, gtfo. I live with a recovering alcoholic that has been sober for just over 16 months. I see the struggle, up close, every single day. She either had to make a change or it would have taken her life (or someone else’s). There are a lot of people that haven’t been as fortunate. Many people have lost a loved one to addiction. If you don’t believe that addiction is real, you are wrong. If you aren’t sensitive to those that have lost that battle, you are an @hole.

I hit a nice score yesterday with the UB money line and A & M +9.5 so I am taking a shot today. I teased the Ravens to -1.5. I also used the Rams, Bengals (money line), Vikings, Panthers, Saints, Browns (money line) and the under in Skins vs. Cardinals (not all in the same bet obviously).

It is just every white pass catcher. If Cole Beasley was released everyone would assume the Pats. As soon as one hits the market everyone says “I hope that he doesn’t kill us when he gets to the Pats.”

I’m not implying anything. I’m saying some guys don’t like him, some do. One thing to clarify is that it has nothing to do with Tyrod. McDermott never wanted to bench him. Rico thought it was best and McDermott empowered him to do that. He actually apologized to the team after. He owned it publicly as well. That earned a lot of respect for McDermott. He had told some people some things and then acted differently. That was where the issues came from.

He’s on the list I don’t have anything on that. It seems that he’s a good teammate but I haven’t heard anything one way or another.

I’m not going to get into that, some are there and some are gone. FWIW, there are multiple starters in that boat. I know of 3 and another 4 that are gone.
