Eeriely quiet @ OneBills Drive
Kirby Jackson replied to Paul Costa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t think I’m going to Baltimore but may hit the home opener the next weekend. I’ll be in Houston too. Hoping to try to hit another road game somewhere and another home game. -
Yeah, they tried to get back into the 2nd when he was there.

Pats seeking trade partner for Malcolm Mitchell
Kirby Jackson replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No idea where it came from. He is pretty plugged in and has given me a bunch of info in the past but he also is a WGR listener (and caller). That’s certainly possible. -

Yeah, speaking of looking under every rock where is @Boyst62? Speaking of mistakes I haven’t seen him in a while. -

I don’t necessarily believe it. It doesn’t make sense to me but he is right more than he’s wrong. We will see I guess. -

I don’t necessarily believe it but heard it from a guy that has had a lot of info in the past. -

I was a big fan of Mitchell coming out. I still am. Hearing some buzz about Dez (don’t know if it’s real). Stay tuned... -

What is the most boring NFL city?

Not everyone... -
I think it’s telling that the Bills tried to trade back up for Christian Kirk. That tells me that they understand how bad that group was. Outside of KB I wouldn’t say any holdover is a lock.

Bills' First Win of 2018-2019 Season
Kirby Jackson replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that the Bills beat the Chargers in Week 2. The Bills are pretty tough at home. Baltimore is winnable but the Ravens are probably a TD favorite at home. -
What is the most boring NFL city?

No doubt, the Pegula have done wonders for WNY. A lot of other people invested downtown before it was “cool.” Croce, Termini, Sinatra, etc... have done a ton for Buffalo by investing early. -

Ha ha, did you forget about October Surprise?!? We didn’t have power for like 10 days!! I’ll give you September (and you can combine late May and early October). The early part of the football season is great weather. It is almost the opposite here. June, July and August are oppressive. This last week has been especially hot. The heat index over the weekend was 114!! You either stay in the pool or in the AC. You really any do anything else. -

A lot of cities have that if you are with the right people. Detroit has everything that you listed except NF (which no one in Buffalo ever goes to). I spent the overwhelming majority of my life in Buffalo and my family is still there. I am there all of the time. Objectively viewing though as an outsider it is near the bottom of the list. The weather is nice 3 months of the year. It’s a great place to raise a family but doesn’t offer anything that the overwhelming majority of NFL cities don’t have. I have a great time in Buffalo but I know where to go and what to do. If I were from any other city that would hold true. My sister has been in Cleveland for 20 years and that place has a lot going on compared to Buffalo. They have word class chefs (Michael Symon, Zach Burrell, Jonathan Sawyer), a bunch of breweries, 3 pro sports teams, casino, flourishing lakefront, vibrant theater district, museums, concert venues on the water, a nice zoo, etc... You can literally find a great time in any city if you know what you are doing. People always get insecure when this topic arises. Being objective though, Buffalo is way down on the list. -
Believe it or not I’ve been on Twitter for almost 10 years. I was a very early adopter (although I still don’t have Facebook). I follow all kinds of stuff. That was a retweet from Rob Quinn. In my defense I wasn’t following that trash site (although I do follow some). I stumbled across it.

Bold NFL Predictions for 2018

Donald will get done. They lose at New Orleans in the regular season. I think Minnesota goes into LA and beats them in the conference championship. Just trying to go bold... -
Bold NFL Predictions for 2018

I’ll go bold. The Rams go 15-1 and don’t make it to the Super Bowl. -
This is pretty much where I’m at. If the young guys show signs of development we are good. Next year we will have almost $100m and 9 draft picks to address the offense. The big picture is a much larger concern to me this year.

I love Boston but that stadium experience is terrible IMO. The traffic sucks getting out to Foxboro and the fans know nothing. Jacksonville was a hostile takeover and it was hilarious. That whole lot we were in was nothing but Bills fans. Hyperbole aside, I saw more TBD members than Jags fans there. Chicago may be my favorite city in the country but have never been to a game there. My friends from here had the worst experience when they went to the championship game there in 2007. It wasn’t an isolated incident either. People were yelling things like “we are going to finish what Katrina started.” Here are people that lost everything that they had 17 months earlier. The atmosphere that day is still a popular topic around the city.

I 100% agree. If it’s a big win I can make it a few hours but rarely do I go elsewhere. We may have a few celebratory drinks and mess around. In New Orleans people may have a drink or 2 before the game and then head to warehouse district or Bourbon Street until midnight or later. My emotions have me drained by about 3:30. I don’t want to do ANYTHING that requires effort after a Bills game, no dinner, no party, no bars, no gym, no cleaning, no travel. I really just want to decompress after every Bills game. I feel like I played.

Spent 26 summers in Buffalo. They don’t host 3 of the 5 biggest festivals in the country. -
Green Bay will be a blast. There are tons of people going. That’s way up on my list but am not sure if I’ll make it this year or not. I’m excited for Vegas because that will be a great trip. I honestly will go anywhere though and have fun. New Orleans is a lot of fun and is the best city in the world for a major sporting event. You can walk the entire time and there is everything from bars, strip clubs, casino, great restaurants, hotels, etc... within a mile of the stadium. That’s why we host so many big events. The weather is oppressive in the summer but none of those big events are in the summer.
