The guy who killed her took his own life...no judgment day here on earth.

He didn't have a great game today...but I think he has shown some signs that he has some game...and all those "drops" were not of the "great pass, no hands"variety... it happens... just another miserable performance all the way around from this team. This x 1billion! I honestly think, with a competent coach, this team, with the same talent, could be 8-6 or 9-5 right now. Fitz is not an upper echelon QB... but despite all evidence to the contrary, Gailey keeps calling games as though Fitz is the second coming of Joe Montana. A good offensive coach knows how to hide his weaknesses....Chan just exposes them, making it all that much easier to beat this team. I am ashamed to say, I really thought, after 2010, the Bills might have fallen into some dumb luck with the hiring of Gailey....but now I realize, there was no luck involved, just dumbness. For some reason, I don't loathe Gailey as much as I did Dick Jauron after three seasons....but he is pretty close... it's not the man, just his performances on Sunday afternoons.

Nirvana back together with new singer!

Was at that show too...as well as the Maple Leaf Gardens show, which IIRC, was the last stop on that tour...Clash was awesome too! If I had a scanner I could show you some great pics I took at that show... Btw- the "3rd farewell tour" thing was just kind of a joke...I have been on a bit of a "Freaks And Geeks" bender...there is one episode that revolves around all the "freaks" going to see the Who on that tour (although they got it wrong and said it was 1981)...throughout the episode they keep saying things like "we gotta see them...it is their last tour"...just kind of funny... Fantastic song...that whole album is great...but "Slit Skirts" is just a great ode to getting old, but not too old to realize it... "slit skirts slit skirts, Jeanie isn't wearing no slit skirts...I ain't wearing no ripped shirt" Good call.. haven't listened to that album in years...might have to drag it out..screw the Christmas music! -

Would Mario restructure his contract?

I don't think Mario Williams signed with the Bills because he had a life long ambition to play in Buffalo...just sayin' -

And I am sure they would have been delighted to have him perform as well. Oh, I don't care for Kanye West (or Bieber)...but if you are having a benefit concert, where you want lots of people to donate money for a cause, it would only make sense that you would try to get acts that are very popular, and would attract more viewers, attract a wider range of viewers, and thus increasing your chances of getting more donations... does that make any sense? I haven't seen them live since their 3rd "farewell tour", but I remember when they performed at half time of the Super Bowl (granted, maybe 4 or 5 years ago now) Daltrey was really struggling to hit the highs. That has to be tough, cuz so much of the Who's stuff is anthem-like, and all about power... -
Rush inducted into the RnR Hall of Fame!

I would rather listen to B-52's than Rush! That makes two! -
Cam has been blowing up (finally!)...even if RGIII is healthy, I would still start Newton.

FWIW- a day late...gotta go with BGE, Manning and Miami D.

From what I understand, she didn't have much of a relationship with him, if at all...

JW- I generally agree with your musical taste (takes?)...but you are just a music snob! -
My friend Esmie was murdered on January 1st of this year...she was one of the brightest lights I have ever known. Great person. She was actively involved as a volunteer for the "Girls Rock" camps that take place all over the US during the summer. She was also a special ed teacher, and by all accounts, loved by her students...such a wastefull shame. This logo was created by some of the people from Girls Rock, to commemorate her spirit.

I don't think Fitz is very good, but I still think he is better than Trent Edwards and JP Losman...I think the talent, overall, is better right now...we just need a head coach that can get the job done...Chan is not that.

The woman who plays Maragaret (Kelly MacDonald) is Scottish, born and raised in Glasgow...are you saying her accent sounds fake?

JW- respectfully...have you ever been to the Rock n'Roll HOF? I am assuming not...it is not perfect, but I don't think it hurts anyone/anything that it exists...sure, I could have lived without seeing the 900 different Stevie Nicks dresses they have on display....but for me, it was worth it just to see the awesome Clash exhibit they had, the recreation (using donated items) of backstage at a Stones show from 1976 (complete with Keith's guitar crate, bumper attached "work free drug place")...there is just way too much history, and too many amazing artists represented to scoff it off, IMO. What are you gonna do when the Mats make it in? -
Will CJ get his touches? Last year's stats say "meh"
Buftex replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is great that Chan is keeping CJ fresh, so, when he becomes a free agent, another team will find his relative good heatlh, and little wear and tear on his body to their liking... -

Like him or not, Kanye West is one of the best selling artists of the last decade or so... I don't think he is paying anyone off. I completely forgot about this show tonight... -

Funny...I don't love Billy Joel (though "The Stranger" album was a staple for make-out music in Jr High...some fond memories!), but your repulsion to his music is similar to the way I feel about the Beach Boys...they irritate the crap out of me. -
Always loved the story about Ravi and his group opeining the legendary Concert for Bangla Desh...they played a piece that was bout 15-20 minutes, afterwards, the crowd at MSG went nuts with applause...Shankar says they were just tuning their instruments.

I don't dig them, but there is a lot of stuff that is in the RnR HOF I don't dig... I am just going to throw this out there: When I lived in WNY, there were certain "classic rock" acts that were staples of my every day existence, like them or not... I would seriously doubt that I went more than a day or two without hearing the likes of Rush, Bob Seeger...when I moved south (Texas...south, southwest whatever you want to call it) some of these bands are still big (Rush for example), but aren't, at least as it seems to me, held in quite as high esteem as they are back home. Now, they can still sell out a basketball arena down here, but there isn't the universal reverence for them. It goes the other way too... a band like ZZ TOP is about as big as the Rolling Stones down here...and they were popular back home too...just not as much so. Part of their popularity is based on their remarkable staying power...and I don't mean this to sound disrespectful to Rush (god knows a lot of the stuff I love woudl make you guys cringe), but while they may be remarkable musicians, they aren't remarkably original, and they don't have songs that everybody would know. I realize, that is pretty flimsy criteria (and obviously, it shouldn't be the only criteria, lots of great bands aren't super popular mainstream, or very original...they are just good), but I think it plays into part of the reason why there seems to be some head-scratching omissions..."prog rock"/metal seem to be slighted. They will have their day. It is funny, a lot of nights I go to bed listening to the overnight guy on FOX Sports Radio (JT the Brick)...he will go on these rants every now and again about Rush not being in the HOF, but there is room for Abba? Blondie? It is pretty funny... -
