  1. http://littlegreenfo...._Darren_Wilson Who wanted this? Who was fanning the flames for three !@#$ing days, saying a decision was immenent...then, a decision has been made, which will be announced in 3 or 4 hours? The extremes some of you will go to is !@#$ing redicuolous.

  3. I think Mario has been great in his tenure with the Bills, but from what I can see, he has really raised his game to a higher level this season. In the past, while in Houston, and here, there was some criticism of him, that he was a great athlete, but he seemed to lack some "fire"...I think he found the fire this season. His body language, all season, has shown (to me anyways) that he is really enjoying playing football this year.
  4. jboyst: yes, most of the eye witnesses supported the officer, except the ones that didn't.
  5. Well, in FireChans defense, he has been hating EJ long before everyone else. So, he is, and has been, consistent.
  6. So, going into tonights' games (Monday Night- Jets/Bills & Ravens/Saints) I have a 25.50 lead on my opponent. He has two players going toinight: Chris Ivory (vs Bills) Mark Ingram (vs Ravens) I have to choose between one of these two running backs, and try to insure a win: Bryce Brown (vs Jets) Travares Cadet (vs Ravens) Who would you play, Brown or Cadet? I know, there is not a big difference between the two, at this point..neither has done a ton...though I keep thinking (wrongly it seems) that Cadet is bound to have a big game against a a good defense at some point...he is no power runner like Ingram, but is a pretty decent receiver out of the backfield. Reason this is vital to me, if I did my math right, if I win tonight, I am the first seed in our playoffs, with only one regular season game to go. Finishing in the top two slots is a huge advantage in my league...you get a first round playoff bye! I am not feeling super comfortable with my 25 pt lead...Ivory has played well against the Bills (for fantasy purposes), and Ingram has been pretty hot this year... Any input is greatly appreciated...unless it comes from Bluefire!
  7. I **** you not...I tried to pick him up the very second I heard he was "visiting the Patriots". Un-sucessful...
  8. According to my channel guide, the Bills/Jets game will be broadcast, in its' entirety, at midnight on Monday night, on the NFL Network. It is scheduled fom 12am-3am, for those who don't have to get up and work Tuesday morning.
  9. Yeah, you are right, they may have won a game that they shouldn't have, Either way, with the logjam of teams "in the hunt" in the AFC, losses to Houston, KC and Miami (all games that the Bills had ample opportunities to win) really hurt their playoff odds tremendously. In fact I would give them more hope if they had won just two of those three games, and lost the three games in the NFC. Those conference losses really hurt.
  10. If the Bills don't make it into the playoffs, it won't be because of this snow-storm. They should have won 3 of the 5 games they lost this season...playoff teams don't do that. Their playoff hopes were left on life-support after the Dolphins loss.
  11. The last time they did this, they moved a game to Detroit, a neutural site, for weather related reasons. They gave tickets away, many to charities...I believe they had 50,000. Not bad, on such short notice. Being a poor city, just think...some parents in Detroit might be able to take their kids to their first (maybe only) NFL game.... maybe a new Bills fan will be born in Detroit!
  12. Hey, Rob, explain. That is a pretty strong reaction. I will say, I may be biased, I worked on the Lilith Fair tour the summer of 1998 (had a blast), and had multiple encounters with McLachlan. She was one of the kindest people I have ever met, working in any facet of the music business. I always found her music a little dull (boring I might say!), but what made you become "disenchanted" with her music?
  13. This place is becoming increasingly populated with drama-queens!
  14. Since Cher has been included, obviously, singing ability is not a criterion! So, just for hot, sexy, and pretty damn talented (will ignore her last two horrid albums), how about Liz Phair? "Exile In Guyville" was one of my very favorite albums of the 90's.
  15. It would seem like moving the game to Monday night would be less of a logistical nightmare for the fans, not to mention the team, than moving it to Toronto in short notice.
  16. It was worth it, if only for the "boozey babe of the week"....Megan Bernard!
  17. So many great ones...can't name just one. But, going to see one of my very favorites of all time, tomorrow night! Chrissie Hynde!
  18. Has been posting a profainity laced tyrade about this being his "last post" over and over again...
  19. Wow! If Crowell can hold on to the ball, he seems to have emerged as their best running back...
  20. Hopefully, for the Browns sake, Gordon is ready to play on Sunday...
  21. I sort of agree, though I liked Chan and Mularkey to a degree. The rest? Not so sure. The Dick Jauron era (as "successful" as it might have been) was, for me, the most un-enjoyable period of Bills football I can ever remember in my 40+ years of watching..which is saying something. Just awful, awful football.
  22. Very classy. I have been to 5 Saints games over the years, and I have to say, the fans in New Orleans have always been pretty great...lets' not let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch. Reading some of the comments on the youtube clip of this incident, really depressed me...sometimes a douche is just a douche.
