  1. Way too early for this. Let him play a full season at least before comparing him to anyone.
  2. It's the Pats' game to lose and I just don't see that happening. Thirtysomething to 17. Spiller gets both TDs.
  3. Read the whole thread before watching the video. Thought: Can it possibly live up to the hype? Yes. Yes, it can.
  4. Nothing can be worse than that husband and wife team in the Phoenix area. The ones Gordon Ramsey walked out on.
  5. There's no quicker way to lose the respect of your teammates than poor work ethic and attitude.
  6. Can we just watch 60 mins of this instead of the actual game? Might be less painful in the long run.
  7. I think people care because they don't want the team to be a laughing stock wearing such a terrible jersey (there is the question of effect on morale as well). I'm sure Nashville fans feel the same about their team. Every so often the list comes out of worst all-time sweaters, and do we really want to end up on that list? I think it's not too much of a stretch to suggest that anyone who's posted on this thread could come up with a better design. Step 1 would be the KISS principle.
  8. I think Spiller is the easiest, quickest answer to both questions. EJ is an injured rookie starting his first pro game against a team that has completely dominated the Bills for years. The most you can hope is he doesn't make any screw-ups that cost the game. Anything more than that is a bonus. This is where CJ needs to take as much pressure off EJ as possible. The more Spiller can bang out plays and eat up clock and keep chains moving, the less exposure the defense gets against Brady. I really feel that for the Bills the running game is the only shot at winning, and everything else revolves around that. Defense MUST make some plays and keep the score down. We can edge a low-scoring game, but if Brady and his pals get rolling and its a shootout - no chance. Honest question: would you put money on him doing that? Because until he actually does it in big games, and consistently, the questions will be asked.
  9. Too busy working on the HarborCenter project to care much - just get the merchandi$e out there knowing there's enough saps to lap it up while they work on the REALLY big payday..
  10. OK, I'll play. Why are the cuffs grey? How does that go with gold? Why is it blue across the top? I understand the colors are blue and gold, but the blue bit clashes with the gold here and is a major distraction, combined with the grey cuffs. None of that goes together in the combination they have. They should have made the whole jersey gold and MAYBE blue on the arms somehow. Also, we have white strips here that look awful. The whole thing is a major design fail.
  11. I really hope no one buys this garbage jersey and sends them a message, but I'm sure there's tons of morons with more money than brains lining up the minute they go on sale. "Derrr.....Go Sabres...."
  12. Doesn't matter if you blitz or drop back, you still have two horrendous matchups: Brady vs Bills secondary and Pats running game vs Bills run defense.
  13. Who thought that color scheme looked good? It's a mess. It looks so disjointed and really, really bad.
  14. So even though he asked Congress, he's basically saying he'll do it regardless of what they say. I just read an article saying it's bad for a president to seek Congress's approval of limited military strikes - on the contrary, I think it should be required. We have not been attacked, Syria does not present a direct threat to us at this time, even our allies in Britain want no part of this. I think it's dangerous to allow a president to order the military to strike a sovereign nation in this kind of scenario. That's too much power for one person.
  15. The last time I went to Walmart they had ONE register open and the line was halfway down the width of the store. That was about four years ago and I refuse to shop there any more. Also, I was annoyed with the customers who insist taking electronics out of their boxes to examine. There's a picture of it on the box, idiots.
  16. There's gotta be, what, 3.5 billion men on the planet, give and take, and she's aiming for 100,000? Why set the bar so low?
  17. That was awesome. I'm still not gonna watch any pregame shows, though.
  18. But the gravitational pull of his suckitude is so immense that it has overshadowed every Raiders draft since.
  19. Agreed. The "contributor network" articles I've read (mostly about baseball) have mostly been written by unabashed homers with rosy-colored specs clouding their vision.
  20. It feels like this idea had potential but didn't really deliver. Oh well.
  21. I wouldn't give any concern at all to some sport site's rankings before a single game is played. The only rankings that count are the standings.
  22. He better back it up because nothing looks stupider than running your mouth and failing to deliver on it.
  23. Absolutely crazy if the Raiders cut him JUST because he can't start this year. They can't afford to be in the business of trying to win now when they are in such a mess. I'm sure there has to be more to it than that to explain cutting a 4th rounder so soon.
