  1. It's not just Losman. Edwards has had many similar games where it is one pass after another either behind the line of scrimmage or within 10 yards of it. I'm not sure if this is a direct result of the play calling, the QB refusing to pass the ball downfield even when that is the play called or something else, but I've had it with this offense especially when it comes to throwing the ball.
  2. Whether it's Losman or Edwards, good or bad weather, adequate or piss poor pass blocking, the passing game for the most part has sucked for several years now. 3.8 yards per attempt yesterday...PATHETIC. Even with the "gunslinger" in there, other than the Hail Mary, how many of the 39 passes were in the air more than 10 yards from the line of scrimmage? I don't buy any of this crap about the WR's not getting open. You see WR's catching passes throughout the NFL with DB's blanketing them. If your QB needs to have WR's with no DB's within 10 yards of them in order to throw the ball their way, it is time to find a new QB.
  3. The game is already a sellout. What if they don't win it? After all the games they have blown this year, you honestly expect them to beat the Patriots?
  4. Good to see that the conspiracy theories are alive and well.
  5. I've never seen a guy get so much love for "average" play and his biggest attribute...having meetings at his house. It is clear that the 9 year slide is causing some fans to make a mountain out of a molehill. I don't see any difference between Whitner the rookie and Whitner the 3rd year player. If anything, his play has slipped from his rookie year.
  6. I'm here just waiting for the breakdown of the 150,000 auto industry related jobs in WNY.
  7. 6,000 I can see. 150,000? :wallbash:
  8. Can I ask for a general breakdown of the companies you are referring to with approximate numbers of employees? 150,000 WNY jobs related to the big 3 automakers seems awfully high.
  9. What happened to the project where they were going to move the press box to one of the corners of the stadium where they have the indoor theater seating, so that more "premium" seating/suites could be constructed on the sidelines? This was announced sometime in the last year or two.
  10. No thanks! RWS is fine as is.
  11. They have newer suites & club seating areas. The rest of the stadium is in good shape. What is building a new stadium going to do for the Bills and the bigger question...who is going to pay for it?
  12. If they believe Hamdan is good enough to be the #2 QB next year, why not let him play and see what you've got. With the playoffs gone and JP gone with them forever in 3 more weeks, why play him? Either Edwards is healthy enough to play the next 3 games or stick Hamdan in there. I even found it hard last week to cheer for them with JP at the helm.
  13. No big deal. I'm sure they can take care of these "holes" fairly quickly...OLB, WR, OC, FS, TE, DE.
  14. I didn't count games he was injured. I included 5 games from this year and 16 games last year. It's not calculus, so I didn't think I'd have to explain it. http://www.nfl.com/players/aaronschobel/ca...ts?id=SCH422487
  15. It doesn't matter what he did earlier in his career. What matters is that he has 7.5 sacks in his last 21 games and will be 32 when the season starts next year. It is very possible that he has hit the brick wall. I'm not saying they need to get rid of him in the offseason, but his future as a Bill may not be beyond 2009 if he continues to slide. They need to go into FA and the draft with this in mind.
  16. Good thing you added McCargo to the deal. I don't think Detroit would go for it without him as part of the deal.
  17. You couldn't be farther from the truth. Are we talking about the guy whose outside speed rush consists of going halfway around the world to get to the QB and who is usually 10 yards upfield before he realizes it is a running play? That is the player who never bites on fakes and is always in position?
  18. I voted for the Pats. The hatred for Brady and the whole Patriots* thing around here cracks me up. They pawned off their has-been quarterback on us and while the Bills have sucked for the last 10 years, the Patriots have gone off and won 3 SB. On top of that, in the one year when the Bills finally have a shot at the division(Brady goes down in the first game of the season), we still can't find a way to get past them in the standings because we have incompetence running rampant throughout the FO and coaching staff. As long as the Bills are out of it, I'd love to see the Pats win a SB with Cassel. PS F*** Miami and the Jets!
  19. What difference does it make at this point? Schobel is on the downside of his career and the Bills are done for this year. Let him go find the fountain of youth and maybe figure out a way to recapture his play of years past.
  20. WTF do the other teams in the AFC East defenses have to do with the Bills defense? My point is that the Bills defense is not as "great" as the numbers may indicate.
  21. The defense "looks" good because of the crappy offenses they have faced. As I posted previously... Take a look at where the majority of Bills opponents are ranked in terms of points scored... http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?off...mp;d-447263-n=1 New England 16th San Francisco 19th Miami 23rd Jacksonville 24th Seattle 25th Kansas City 26th Cleveland 27th Oakland 30th St. Louis 31st That's 10 of the 14 games the team has played. It's all smoke and mirrors. Lets' see what happens when next years schedule gets much more difficult!
  22. You either really hate Evans or are overrating Parrish in a HUGE way. I don't care which WR position Evans lines up at, he is 10x the player Roscoe will ever be. Parrish is nothing more than a kick returner and a borderline #4 or #5 WR at best.
