  1. At the risk of repeating myself from the other day... Daniels is a PROVEN commodity at TE unlike Pettigrew, Coffman or any other UNPROVEN draft eligible player. I can't believe all the people who piss and moan year after year about how the Bills need a threat at TE, yet they now piss and moan that they don't want to give up any picks for Daniels. :w00t:
  2. If Guy is not accountable for the players he brings in, than he has one of the best jobs in pro sports. If he is initiating the process to have them come in, isn't that equivalent to a player recommendation on his part?
  3. Hopefully this year's Dockery will be someone who can play at a level equal to their salary.
  4. Good news...Royal and Dockery getting cut because they did not play up to the level of their contracts Bad news...Your head of pro scouting(John Guy) who I assume gave his blessing on these two players, is still employed by the Bills
  5. I'd have no problem if the Bills traded down and picked up an extra pick or two.
  6. I'd be shocked if the uncapped year happens. IMO it is much more likely that a CBA extension is agreed to and the uncapped year gets voided as part of the deal. Isn't that what happened last time the uncapped year was pending??
  7. First thing that came to my mind. He can walk into Miami and become the #1 guy instantly.
  8. Whatever happened to the FU smiley?
  9. The problem is that Housh or Boldin are going to cost $$$ and on a team that is pinching pennies(cash to the cap). How much do you want to invest at the WR position? Daniels is a PROVEN commodity at TE unlike Pettigrew, Coffman or any other UNPROVEN draft eligible player. I can't believe all the people who piss and moan year after year about how the Bills need a threat at TE, yet they now piss and moan that they don't want to give up any picks for Daniels. Go back and take a look at some of the Bills 1st and 3rd round picks from recent years, and then come back and tell me how those picks are too valuable to give up for Daniels.
  10. I'd take either a late 1st/early 2nd along with a 4th or 5th. IMO Lynch is only going to get in more trouble. Dump him while you can. The best part about the whole thing...you end up with a more versatile starting RB in Jackson who in addition to being a good player, is able to keep his nose clean.
  11. In a game last season with the lead in hand late in the 4th quarter(there may have only been 7 or 8 minutes to play), Rosenfels had an epic meltdown where I believe he turned the ball over 3 possessions in a row and the Texans lost the game. I guess the Vikings chose not to look at that film.
  12. In order to be a bigger playmaker, wouldn't that mean that you were a playmaker in past seasons.
  13. The Bills reportedly offered a contract worth 4 mil a year. You reply with "I doubt he'll get double the Bills offer" and then at the end of your post you state "I think the most Greer will get is $8 million per year", which is DOUBLE the Bills offer.
  14. Gronkowski not Grankowski.
  15. If they can sign Greer for less than 5 mil per year, I'd do it. Otherwise, he walks this year, McGee is going to be looking for his big pay day next year(and will probably walk too) and we'll be right back to drafting another CB in the draft next year.
  16. Your Lynch post was merged with the main lynch thread. I didn't realize it needed it's own thread.
  17. You need to expand your horizons a little... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0035211/
  18. The Bills are prepared to make Haynesworth the highest paid player in the NFL, but Owen Daniels is a pipedream? :w00t:
  19. He's just a fun lovin' happy go lucky guy.
  20. I highly doubt that an ABC employee would tell some neighborhood kid to go get some close up footage for them, knowing the liability involved if this kid got hurt. I also wonder how bodies were being pulled out of the plane in the middle of the night when as of mid-morning they said that the scene was still "very hot"? I guess anything is possible, but it seems like creative writing to me.
  21. http://www.ajc.com/blogs/content/shared-bl...know_i_can.html "...But Brooking is an unrestricted free agent and general manager Thomas Dimitroff wants to rebuild the defense. He has not closed the door to his return, but it would be at a significantly reduced price - and even then it depends on who else could be acquired in free agency." He wasn't released and does not have a big cap number. He is a UFA.
  22. I know the 3 Stooges aren't on as much anymore, but I recently heard my sister saying my nephew(who is 8), isn't allowed to watch them. What?
  23. Overpriced and average at best. They are not even worth mentioning as far as being the best in Buffalo let alone the best in the nation.
