  1. ...or maybe he doesn't want to play 2nd fiddle to his super model wife and just be a stay at home dad. LOL
  2. He is a sure fire unanimous first ballot HoF'er, is in the top 5 for most passing records all-time, and has won 6 Super Bowls. Do you really believe he cares about the things listed above? I still cling to the hope that last nights win will be enough to convince him to ride off into the sunset.
  3. Where was everyone with their HOT takes on McVay and Goff prior to last night? One bad game, and now the masses come out of the woodwork with "they suck, and I've known it since the beginning of time". LOL
  4. How do you go from being the premier RB in the NFL, to hardly used in the NFC championship game and the SB? Injury or something else?
  5. One last thing...for those who think it is all about the system, where was Alex Smith's 50 TD & 5000 yard season over the course of the 5 years he started in KC?
  6. Mahomes just threw for 5,097 yards and 50 TD's. At the risk of repeating myself...Allen will not come anywhere close to those numbers...not next year or any year going forward. Just for reference... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_yds_single_season.htm https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_td_single_season.htm
  7. Your'e a dreamer if you think Allen(if he was on KC) would have a season anywhere close to what Mahomes just had. Not in a 100 years. Not in a 1000 years. lol
  8. Awesome! Can't wait to see the finished product.
  9. Not sure if has been mentioned, and it's been awhile since I've seen it, but Sand Pebbles with Steve McQueen is a favorite of mine. PS Thanks for all the choices upthread. There are quite a few I've never seen...or even heard of.
  10. Whistle blows before a tackle is even close to being made. I don't ever remember it being that bad, but then again, I couldn't tell you the last time I even watched 5 minutes of it, prior to this year.
  11. Anderson puts in way LESS hours, and makes a LOT more money as a 3rd string coach, than as a QB coach. /endthread
  12. I'll confess to not being a huge rap fan, but I swear I've never heard the name Travis Scott. At first, I thought he was a country based performer. LOL
  13. ...and yet I hold out hope that the Pats win on Sunday and he calls it a career. Why the heck does he want to play until 45? He has all the accolades he'll ever desire, including becoming a first ballot HoF'er. Get out while you have your health.
  14. If McD is okay with it, I guess I would lessen my stance, but as a HC I doubt he would make his true feelings known...especially if he isn't in favor of it.
  15. I have a lot of respect for Kelly and his cancer battle, but I really don't need him telling Josh Allen all of the things in Kelly's mind, that he is doing wrong. I might feel different if Allen sought him out for advice, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The guy can't seem to let go. Allen will end up being a head case. He has coaches telling him what to do, Palmer telling him what to do & now Kelly wants to tell him what he needs to do. BN: What do you think of Josh Allen? JK: I think he’s the real deal. He needs the quarterback coach, the offensive coordinator to get in his mind. I have already talked to him and told him we need to sit down this offseason. ... I need to tell him some things that I saw that he was not doing that he needs to make sure are instilled in his mind, that I don't know if he's been told. I never want to tramp on anybody's feet right, but we'll sit down, I'll go over some things with him. (Kelly said he intends to give the specifics to Allen rather than making them public.) I'm excited about him because his personality is what you need in Buffalo. He's a hardworking SOB. It’s everything I love to see, but he can't do it alone. https://buffalonews.com/2019/01/25/buffalo-bills-jim-kelly-josh-allen-pro-bowl-kyle-williams-one-on-one-coverage-vic-carucci-nfl-football/
  16. The Packers have had 2 HoF QB’s and 2 SB championships over the last ~20 years. The Bills have had neither over the last twenty years. Yeah...real similar. ?
  17. Go back to sudden death. You don't win the coin flip, then play defense and force the other team to punt. If not, you lose...even on a FG. I don't like the way they do it now, let alone making additional changes so that it is "fair" to the team that can't stop anyone.
  18. Clearly they can't enforce it by the letter of the law. Much like there is OL holding on every play, there is hand fighting on every pass play between the DB and the WR. If they allow that ticky tack stuff to be reviewed and enforced, teams will save their challenges for the 4th quarter, heave bombs, and if no catch or no flag, throw the challenge for a potential 40-50 yard gain. It is somehow going to have to be written in the rules that the PI has to be blatant(good luck defining that). They may regret going down the road of opening up replay challenges to more plays than currently allowed.
  19. It seems like every WR in the league does it several times a game....and it should be considered unsportmanlike conduct. All they are doing is showing up the officials.
  20. Speak for yourself. Punks like Talib, Suh & Peters have me cheering for the Patriots. Also, I continue to hold out hope that one more SB championship will nudge Brady into retirement.
  21. So what happens when clock strikes 0:00 and the game is still tied. Excellent idea.
