big debate in my house how to pronounce this. Options: 1) Nee-yo-kee 2) nee-yaw-kee 3) no-kee 4) naw-kee i think 1 is right and 2 is acceptable (though I seem to use them both myself). But I have heard 3 and 4 too.

Luca is just obnoxious with the crying. I saw this one clip from the last series where he ran into a guy and baited a foul call. Then, he ran up to him after to try to challenge him like a tough guy. This other dude was just confused. when Luca doesn’t get a call, he cries. When gets fouled and gets the call, he cries about the injustice of being fouled. Then, when someone else cries to the refs, he runs up and complains that they aren’t Teed up. the dude is a great player. Just stop with all the nonsense. People are starting to hate his guts because of this stuff.

congrats! Mavs played a heck of a series! I thought the wolves would win, but the Mavs were just more clutch down the stretch. I have always disliked Kyrie due to his off-court stuff, but he seems to have really mellowed. If he had only just been a normal guy, he would be so much more respected as a great player. He played a great series. Luca too just was on point. Just wish he would stop his constant whining and foul baiting! I will be rooting for them in the finals!

Agreed. Seems like a lot of this stuff is new. by the way, my nephew was allergic to eggs for a while. Turns out that he could actually eat organic farm fresh eggs though. Your buddy may want to try that.

Anyone have oral allergy syndrome? I figured out a few years ago I had it. It’s basically a pollen allergy, but triggered by eating a number of fresh raw fruits. The skin and flesh on the fruits have pollen, and give me the worst sore throat. But I basically can’t eat raw apples, pears, peaches, cherries, plums, and a number of others. It stinks!

Pretty much a full day of my life didn’t happen yesterday.

I think Butker intended to say that it is acceptable for women to choose wife/mother as their sole vocation. Not that choosing a career is bad. It didn’t come out quite right, but that felt like the point he was trying to make.

agreed! Never trust anyone on the roads, is my motto. Relatedly, I never feel pressured if I am waiting to try to turn, and people behind me are honking for me to go. Those same honking people aren't going to stick around when someone hits me.

I saved all my old Rickey Henderson cards for 30 years. I looked them up recently and they are like worth 10 cents!! I had no idea, but all those baseball cards from the 80s and 90s are considered junk. That said, it is cool now that I have kids who are into cards, and I get to show them my old ones.
