  1. I think they released Morrow several weeks ago. Dude is so slow that only now is he exiting the building.
  2. The announcers say the full name “cash jones” every 2 minutes or less. Is this part of some drinking game?
  3. My rooting interests: 1) Den over KC 2) Cincy over Pitt 3) LAC over Raiders that leads to: 1) buff (2)/den (7) 2) ravens (3)/steelers (6) 3) Texans (4)/LAC (5) As you said, Steelers over ravens is our best case scenario for round 2. In my ideal world, Steelers at chiefs and Texas at bills in round 2.
  4. would love to see Daquan Hardy elevated from the practice squad. He looked great as a KR/PR and backup corner in preseason.
  5. I would prefer we actually use Solomon more on obvious passing downs. I feel like he is one of our best pure pass rushers.
  6. If this doesn’t prove josh Allen deserves MVP, then I don’t know what does. Ravens have like 6 pro bowlers, including at RB and WR.
  7. yeah, thigh doctor is the man. And he is in his wheel house talking quads.
  8. Wish we rolled out those red/white combos again. Then we could just leave them in New England for the patriots to use going forward.
  9. “No worries. I am on my way back. Let’s gooooo.” —A.J Klein
  10. With Penn state’s draw, they are going to end up in the championship.
  11. Penn state just trying to outsmart themselves on O. Need to get the balance back and start running those wide zone runs again.
  12. Or how about Antonio Williams?!
  13. it was looking like a boat race at first, until the Penn state penalties. I still think Penn State is a lot better, and they are going to end up winning this game by like 3 or 4 scores.
  14. I think we just have different “fan philosophies.” I get what you are saying. But I am always going to root for my team to win and will want them to win. The crap shoot of some draft pick (that probably won’t materialize) is not worth it to me to want my team to just throw in the towel. And you have fans taking the “draft position” philosophy to extremes, like fans who think starting 1-4 or 0-5 calls for the team to tank. At that point, what’s the point of even following a team or watching the games?
  15. I will say that of all the scenarios re the Bengals being eliminated, the one I am most confident in is the Steelers beating them. Steelers are on a 3-game losing streak. They are desperate for a get-right win. But otherwise I have little faith in the dolphins without Tua and this backups-trap game between KC/Den scares me.
  16. Tua might be out this week, and I don’t have a lot of faith in the dolphins in a must-win game. I can see KC’s backups going out there and making this a close one against Denver, who I think will probably be playing pretty tight. hope I am wrong, of course!
  17. Just tuned in and this sounds like a home Lions game?!
  18. you have the benefit of hindsight. In the moment, there is absolutely a benefit to try to build and keep winning down to the end, for purposes of momentum, culture, player development, playing hard for each other, and learning how to win, etc. The best example of that was the 1997 Falcons. Pretty bad team. Meh QB in Chris Chandler. Started like 1-8 or something like that, and then won a bunch of games to end the season. That momentum carried over to the next season when that team went to the SB. I guess separate and apart from that, I am not here as a fan to play the long game, which usually doesn’t work out anyway. Just want to see my team play hard and win right now. The draft stuff will take care of itself.
  19. Just looking at the snap counts for the game. Buffalo Joe played 26 snaps and came away with 8 tackles?! That’s nuts.
  20. agree. We all Sort of look past all those 3rd and longs that Josh converts with ease.
  21. Both teams are going to be running backwards for safeties all game!
  22. that’s not a respectful type of question to ask right after a loss. Maybe during the week. But no one asks, “how great is that opposing QB who just smoked you 5 minutes ago?” That reporter was trying to rile him up.
  23. pretty gracious of Rodgers to answer that question. A lot of players would have exploded at that sort of question after a loss.
  24. agreed. one thing I have noticed though is that in zone, bishop seems to be now playing with an extra big cushion. That might be the coaches telling him to do that. Or it could be he is still gaining his footing as to how to settle into the zone coverages. But I have felt that if he can play “down” a bit more, he’d be in such better positions to explode to the ball.
  25. I am an “always root for a win” fan. More important to have guys that play hard and sometimes these late season wins can build great momentum for the following year. Also, when we were in the drought, I figured draft position didn’t matter anyway because we were going to screw up the pick regardless. 😃
