I don’t think he has the experience to be OC (yet), but I do wonder if Davis Webb slides into the QB coach role next year.

this thought crossed my mind. I could see the chiefs/Reid letting him out of his contract for this reason too, as they are supporting his efforts to become a future HC. No one thinks he is the brains behind the operation now and if he can’t get a HC job when there are 9 openings, he never will, without getting out from Reid’s shadow.

I couldn’t think of a worse choice honestly. I hope they don’t go this route.

Hall has like 5 years of coaching experience, and 2 of those were as an entry quality control-type guy. i am pretty sure they aren’t turning over the offense to him.

Funny that people are glad to see Daboll go. I have got to think behind Marchibroda, he was the best OC in the history of the franchise.

i like Girard, but the ball handling is an absolute joke. He really need to play off the ball. The number of horrible turnovers he has just bringing the ball up is really alarming. Hopefully Copeland has good handle.

Exactly. People love Herbert because he looks so smooth. Just a beautiful delivery. There is a lot more herky jerkiness and improv to Josh’s game, which is why people don’t view him in the same light. Both styles are effective.

I don’t think it was an act. I have some close friends who are friends with him and his wife, and it seems like it was a pretty genuine change, at least from their accounts.

Congrats on a great HOF career! A mixed legacy, for sure, but from all accounts, he also found faith and family and turned around his life after his early career off-field issues.

We just invested a 1st round pick and two 2nd round picks in the DE position. I think the team should put faith in the development of the current players. They have all flashed.

Honestly, I don’t think Haack is as bad of a signing as everyone says (and I have been a big Haack critic). he is an elite holder—I guess Sanders had a career year last year and Bass had one this year. And outside of the Jets game in tough wind conditions and the Steelers block, he was average as a punter. I am all for upgrading, but would tolerate bringing him back if we can’t find someone who is significantly better.
