i am referring to the bulk of the game. I agree that both the scheme
and execution was not right in the 13 seconds. But the overall defensive scheme that the Bills ran was the same as the bengals did today. Bengals just executed better and Mahomes executed at a much poorer level.
The reality is Mahomes in OT, threw two uncatchable balls and forced the third into double coverage.
So much of this game is execution, not coaching. Bengals executed; Mahomes didn’t. Last week, it was the opposite.
I bet it was neat for the fans to watch PM run around in circles and watch the brilliant Reid and/or EB meltdown in the biggest game of the year.
wonder what Collinsworth thought of Mahomes’s 20-yard sack on the most important play of the game?
People think Frazier is the problem!!?? D gals followed his blue print! Their dlineman just finished plays.
the real coaching goat is Reid and Bieniemy. What an epic meltdown.
shouldn’t EB be on the chopping
Block?
Talk about a total coaching meltdown by the chiefs and a collapse by Mahomes and critical drop by Hill.
cool to talk about 13 seconds for the last week, but I think they might be talking about the meltdown at arrowhead much longer.
I couldn’t help myself and have now tuned it. Looks like the bengals are just copying our defensive scheme, but containing/tackling Mahomes. People forget that the chiefs entire offense against us for large stretches was Mahomes breaking tackles and scrambling for 10-15 yards a pop.
it’s insane. Not to mention the defensive effort— that was the first time that the zone looked good.
If I had a complaint, it would be not going back to Benny and Symir in the second half. I get that JB didn’t want to mess up what was going on out on the floor, but Jimmy and Girard were meh. And both Benny and Symir looked solid in the first half.
