  1. My hope is Rankins falls to our spot, but most of the mocks I am seeing NO get's him at 12. My next hope would be that Shaq Lawson drops and if not Nkemdiche. The Nkemdiche pick would obviously be a risk, but I am hoping being around guy's like Kyle, Jerry, and Marcel can help him rise up and live up to alot of potential. I believe that he can play outside very well too if need be.
  2. Wow most believe DLine is where the most talent is in the draft, and you don't see value for us in any round, before the draft has taken place LOL.
  3. Always looked forward to your views after the game Bill, have fun with the family
  4. You mean the University of Miami right Augie, if I am not mistaken he was a real good college receiver there. I don't have a problem with all these cheap free agents that have had decent years albeit only 1-2 on other teams myself, it seems alot of people here are intolerant of such moves but they don't have **** for money. With 3-4 guys' like this one is bound to surprise and be a solid 3-4 option, anyone agree?
  5. I think he'd be a real nice signing, if he comes at a decent salary very little to lose, if he doesn't look good you hack him. I think he'd be a good slot guy, and unlike Percy he stays healthy.
  6. Darby all the way, Have been waiting for Gilmore (he has had his best year) to play like Darby is now playing since he got here. I think Darby is a better tackler as well, I noticed on two of his tackles this weekend the strip motion, anyone else pick up on this? If Darby as a rookie is trying to tear the ball out whenever in control or going to the ground, continues honing this he could be something else, he is already in the receivers back pocket on most of his plays.
  7. I usually don't even post, but we have different opinions. First up the offensive line was very good, but they got dominated every super bowl, that's where the bills lost the super bowls on the line of scrimmage. The defense in my opinion was also very good, with alot of big names on it, but i doubt they were even a top ten defense in points against, or yardage during the super bowl years. With guys' like Jeff Wright and Leon Seals on the line they got pushed all around in the super bowls. The Bill's offense was a top five offense in the super bowl years, maybe even the best offense in the league in a few of those years, if the defense was also top five it's truly a travesty that a super bowl was never won, i kinda doubt a team has ever had a top 5 defense and offense in the same year, but stranger things could happen. Don't mean to call out your post, but our opinions vary so much, and your not giving Kelly the credit he deserves!
  8. He's better than Beebe, wow really? You base this on him not having the qb, Goodwin was better than Graham so Goodwin as a rookie was better than Beebe also right?
  9. I didn't check but right off the top of my head I would have thought Warren Sapp and John Randle had more sacks in a season than Cortez Kennedy?
  10. Actually he looked awesome in one of the preseason games, I forget which one? He's a rookie and I am not encouraged after the Cleveland game but it was a Thursday game in which he was receiving very little reps in practice, hopefully a full week of snaps and more experience helps the guy!
  11. I for one admire his dedication, but we need him on the field next week, when we hand KC there first loss of the season!
  12. I believe coaching is getting a lot of praise when it comes to our cbs this year, the difference is scheme. We are playing much more one on one and corners close to the line of scrimmage. I hate zone coverage and understand in some cases you have to use it, though we have been more fortunate with the scheme we don't rely on it like years in the past. Williams and Mckelvin I think are playing better because they are allowing them to use there physicality more than in years past, it will be interesting when Gilmore is finally healthy to see the dbs in action!
  13. Wow is there a festival in Miami today where are the fans? Is this Jacksonville?
  14. It could have a lot to do with Cincy being at home last week, most teams are better at home as evidenced by them being 3-0 at home and 0-2 on the road before this weekend. His play calling has been questionable and predictable a lot to me this year, I just hope it improves next season when we may actually be able to do damage!
  15. just curious I haven't seen it anywhere and I read most everything, hopefully not real long!
  16. I believe this is year number 4 for Easley two years right of the bat can be eliminated, from his broken leg and heart condition. I'd love for them to give him a chance, he seems like he might have finally found his groove as a receiver, though the fact that he has been a really good gunner on special teams thus far might have something to do with it.
  17. If SJ would just produce at critical times and shut his fu$$ing mouth he would get less critique, but over the years come crunch time he has either critical drops or penalties and continues to run his piehole, and then morons defend him. Shutup or put up Steve Johnson, by the way Stevie makes him sound like hes' a ten year old, even if he acts like one.
  18. Sheppard to me looked like he was to slow to react to anything while he was here and heavy footed, the only reason he started for us because he was a drafted guy and we had ****ty linebackers. He might blossom in Indy but imo he will be a fringe guy if hes' even in the league in five years, time will tell!
  19. Since you replied to my post with out listing my name I will reply, first up i'm 41 and not too young too remember Marvs' tenure with the Bills'. I like Marv and i'm happy hes' in the Hall but 17th does seem kind of high, but hey to each is own!
  20. Marv Levy is a great guy but before he came to Buffalo he was a sub 500 coach in the nfl, many coaches would have succeded with the talent he inherited. I would in fact go out on a limb and say if the Bills' had a coach a caliber of Parcells, Johnson, or Gibbs they would have definitely have won the first super bowl and quite possibly another or two. The bills' staff was really out coached in those super bowls and probably a lot of other games while he was here, but they has a ton of talent!
  21. While I agree that me may have very well been a reach, He's actually 5'8 7/8's and 183 lbs. and I have read that he is a very good blocker, so you may not be giving the guy enough credit for his ability to handle contact.
  22. Sanchez has dropped back all day and gotten rid of the ball real quick nixing buffalos' pass rush when the dbs are playing 7-10 yards of the ball. Wannstedt has to have the dbs step and and play bump and run or something of that sort in my opinion.
