Ty Neskhe’s Untold Story: From Behind Bars to the Bills
JoeF replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Redemption, perseverance, facing consequences, overcoming adversity, admission of guilt, finding and staying on a better path...amazing story. Glad he got his chance and very happy he is a Bill. -

Lindsey Hauschka vs. Sayrn Anderson....I got Lindsey all day. Settle this in the ring.

Wonder if that was $1000 or $2000 in Greggo's Jets bounty system. Might be higher in NY due to wage schools for goons. Based on Monday's Gase press conference -- "Take out the head" may have new meaning. By the way, Roger Goodell has a twitter account @nflcommish...just sent him this asking what he is going to do about it.

Jordan Poyer - underpaid? What would you offer?
JoeF replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great topic. Something tells me Beane is attune to Poyer, Hyde and Tre and keeping them locked up for the long term....There are three good years left after this one for Poyer and Hyde I believe. Tre is a core player for whom the Bills must act on the 5th year option this coming off-season. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Winning the Fourth Quarter
JoeF replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
@Shaw66 great write-up. One other observation...5 rookies contributed in a tangible way yesterday...EO, Cody, Motor, Sweeney and Knox....EO and Motor stood out...for the rest there was mostly good and some bad, but this is a pretty good sign that the Bills drafted well. I missed Darryl Johnson--how could I??? So six contributed. Watching the film -- DJ did not look lost out there in his 13 or so snaps on D and 15 on Teams... -
Pats cut two players as A.B. officially signs deal
JoeF replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
AB needs two roster spots on the Pats*. One for him and one for his recording devices. -
Verified by the film -- good observation. Also, with Bell you need at least two guys to help stop forward momentum...Probably 85% of the backs in the league are stopped by the initial contact...but not Bell.

Antonio Brown RELEASED, signed by PATS
JoeF replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There won't be any proof..Rosenhaus has clients all over the league -- he can say any contact with NE was about an existing client or just normal business. Every other team should be pissed about this..but it was a well Krafted plan....*****... -
Antonio Brown RELEASED, signed by PATS

I wish the NFL was like the NCAA because it would be fun to watch the Patriots have to vacate championships in about 5 years....(I am kidding kind of) -
Antonio Brown RELEASED, signed by PATS

Of course there was no tampering.....?? -

Hey @Gugny Tim Graham @ByTimGraham · 53m In regard to Bills’ interest in signing Antonio Brown, team source replies (and I’m copying and pasting the exact text): -
Bloomberg article on the future of The Athletic
JoeF replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I subscribed when The Athletic Buffalo was launched. I feel like I get a year's worth of value every month. The writers have some free reign to follow story ideas. Matt Fairburn's current article where he talks with Ken Zampese and Marc Trestman about developing QBs and specifically seeks opinions on Josh is really good stuff. Will the model work? I have no idea, but I am going to enjoy the heck out of the content for as long as it lasts. -
I almost forgot my traditional First Week Of The Season Post

Awesome. My yearly reminder to toast Tim Russert before the season. BTW, thank all of you for being part of what makes being a Bills fan a wonderful part of life. -
Gregg Williams ready to shock the league with Jets' pass rush
JoeF replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gregg Williams motto -- there's no "Team" in "I" I could see he and Gase coming to blows at some point during this season...even if things are going well. -
Antonio Brown RELEASED, signed by PATS
JoeF replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Personnel evaluation in the NFL is hard because there are humans involved ? The on field performance is a significant part of the equation, but just part of the equation and maybe not even the majority of the evaluation. When the trade happened -- the pundits were saying the Steelers got ripped, now the same pundits are likely saying the Steelers are geniuses... -
Interview with Beane - his McCoy explanation
JoeF replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Beane's definitely not hiding much with Vic in his assessment of Josh's progress. Its got to be a little maddening as the person who staked his reputation in large part on Josh to see Josh progress -- like the Carolina game and then see Josh make some really questionable decisions 6 days later in Detroit. It was a step back in what had been a steady progression. I didn't read Beane's answer to the Josh question as coddling Josh or protecting him from pressure--I kind of read the opposite. Josh hasn't done enough yet in Beane's eyes to win a totally "clean" opinion. He still has to earn that. Everyone will have a point of view on this if you dissect the comments...maybe Vic wrote it that way on purpose.
