  1. Whoever 27 was on Sunday...was absolutely a beast.... 24 is Taron Johnson -- nickel corner...he got beat badly on one deep ball that I saw...but did you see other plays where he was over matched? I will say that in Dallas, he was excellent all day on Randall Cobb, but his play against the Steelers did not stand out in any way to me. Levi is really slight. The draft scouting reports are absolutely dead on. Preston Williams dominated Levi for the first 3 quarters of the home game against the Phins just with physical play. The play on Sunday night was, however, a play that likely 75% of the corners in the NFL would not have been able to make so I cut him some slack. The game sealing pick more than made up for it.....(even though it was a gimmie)...
  2. Plane was 1-1 in the day. Glad it was our 1!!
  3. I am really enjoying the NFL's series on the hundred greatest players. Belichick is really, really good on the show. Tonight they revealed the TE's...here is a story about Gronk...watch the video
  4. The Steelers have had 10 years in the last 50 where they have had a losing record (let that sink in for just a second). There were probably others where they did not meet expectation. The Rooney's knew they had the right plan and culture. They stuck with it after hiring Chuck Noll. They are always in contention. I would be very pleased if the Bills could have close to that sustained excellence. McDermott and Beane are both young. This could be a 15+ year partnership.
  5. PFF is the best motivator on our team!!! Thank you Cris Collinsworth for your support of the Buffalo Bills.
  6. Judon was a beast on Sunday...wow...pressure/sack, coverage, establishing the edge...but so was Shaq
  7. Ian Rapoport @RapSheet · 1m The NFL informed clubs today that projections for the 2020 salary cap are in the range of $196.8 million to $201.2 million. This marks a 40% increase from five years ago in the 2015 season ($143.3 million). JoeF note--Projected cap on Sportrac is $199M (essentially about the mid-point) and team figures include projected rollover. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/2020/ Bills have the room to extend some key folks, lock up the 5th year option on TreDe and get a selectively busy in the open market.
  8. Maybe we should set up video cams outside massage parlors in Palm Beach....I really want the Bills to just kick their ass in Foxboro in 2 weeks.
  9. My guess is the 12 men on the field missed call against the Ravens or Harbaugh's bush league fake "take a knee". You don't win two high school wrestling national championships, go from walk-on to starter at a I-AA school without having a fire. I love this.
  10. Jackson is at his best when he can create. Bills D needs to get pressure as soon after the snap as possible. The Ravens injured Center (out for the season) may come into play. Edmunds, Milano, Oliver and Phillips need to be really quick off the snap.
  11. We have seats in the lowers. Wind is much less of a factor. I agree with Bferra13!
  12. Fine either way @The Jokeman yours is a more coach McDermott proposal. Mine is more Ryan brothers
  13. Bills should have brought them both back (RJ and Flutie) for a cage match pre-game to sell out and get the crowd riled. Missed opportunity!

  15. There's no cap to deal with here...I am confident the Pegulas will not quiver over this and make them among the highest paid in their roles in the league with some head room to grow the numbers during the term of the deals. Terry built his oil organization by retaining and empowering great talent. He will likely do the same here. We are talking about an asset that is now worth over $2 Billion and the two people who are in charge of that asset. He won't skimp.
  16. Great job, Virgil. My only request is that the Pegulas extend both Beane and McDermott...and as much of the coaching staff and front officer as possible. We are going to lose a couple from the coaching staff and the front office I predict...but I have confidence we have a deep bench in both areas.

As to how he grew up and where he grew up, that was more than a decade ago...he's had a lot of lessons. Instead of speculating or downgrading...maybe just pray for healing.

    Dallas 2019

Safe travels to all. Flying to Love Field from RDU tomorrow evening with wife and 3 sons.
  19. You at least tried...here's your participation trophy. I am glad the young lady saw this as a teaching moment. PS. My wife had to help me the last time I changed the wiper blades on my car. Like you, I put the wrong frickin adapter on the passenger side. Turned a 5 minute job into an hour....
  20. The more snaps Star gets the better he seems to play---who knew?? Maybe running on and off the field is more taxing than staying on it...This week, with Dallas' pro bowl caliber OL, will be a test....
  21. Just a couple of thoughts... On D-- I doubt there are many people that know the intricacies of the Cowboys O playbook and the tendencies of the Cowboys playmakers (Dak, Elliott, etc) like Cole Beasley....this might be an interesting asset for the Bills D on a short week. I think Kevin Johnson gets more snaps this week than Levi because of Gallup's physical nature.... I think Taron Johnson is molding into a really good slot corner -- Randall Cobb will be a test On O-- A time of possession difference like the Bronco's game would be awesome...almost 10 minutes The middle will be there because the Cowboys will focus Jaylon Smith and Sean Lee (if no Leighton Vander Esch) on the run and watching Josh-- if Dawson Knox, Tyler Kroft and Cole Beasley find space they could all have big days....
  22. Will be there with wife and 3 sons..
  23. One of my favorite ex-Bills. Always giving max effort with lots of passion. Sounds like health of an immediate family member but I hope it’s something that can heal and improve
