  1. I think his half kicking shoe had a flubber insert though....luckily flubber testing had not been implemented yet.
  2. Yep--OJ is a fully vindicated hero in Cuba...
  3. Must have been the Ginsu suite.... ooops -- how insensitive...
  4. Agreed. The opponent's 18 penalties and 5 turnovers should have led to a much wider margin of victory if the Bills were a good team. There were some reasons for optimism though-- We drove the ball at will the first half with a rookie and a street free agent on the right side of our offensive line...for some reason we put that offense in the archives the second half and Miami began to take advantage of the patch work offensive line. Our punter is back to his all-pro form Our special teams continue to be league leading Our kicker has been possessed by an alien being that has turned him into a real kicker But we still can't run with consistency and stop the run---hence the playoffs are probably out of reach....maybe the return of the Right Side of the Offensive line can help with the run part --- but I am afraid we are looking at a season long problem with the D stopping the run. I will take all the lucky wins against hated division rivals we can get---in fact 5 more this season just like yesterday would be fine...
  5. Typical egocentric, obnoxious, omnipotent post from the Alaskan King Crab....unfortunately -- I agreed with every word... Now onto another hated team--the Jests--look at these 4 weeks--Fish, Jests, Raiders and Pats--just one big bundle of teams you love to beat....your note could apply to any of these. BTW--Go Irish--I think they have a shot against the condoms this week...
  6. I agree on both counts Mr. T, it is too early to annoint Kelly our savior..and its way too early to annoint JP a bust. You can point to Eli Manning, Carson Palmer as the positive side of development and hope JP gets there. How JP handles this string of games that he sits--even if its the next 11 (and maybe the Playoffs -- PLAYOFFS in my best Jim Mora voice) will be interesting to watch. He now has to somewhat earn the job back instead of it being handed to him..a much different role. Kelly is in the fold for 4 years...he is not one of those QB's who is going to see a huge skill detoriation as he gets older--he's not very fast, doesn't have the big arm--both of those things erode over time...he is smart, effective, productive...very different than any QB we have had in the past. This roller coaster season may be headed back up the hill.....
  7. That could turn into a lucrative profession--only work two or three months a year, get paid by all sides....hmmmmm....
  8. CL--he really didn't mean the cat thing...it was a momentary -- Bill Bennett type lapse of judgement.
  9. I am in North Carolina.....my dream is to have a summer and fall house in Buffalo in about 5 years...is that sick or what? The games are just so much more fun live at the Ralph. the Chiefs should have just about eliminated themselves by then with their D...
  10. Does this inlude the white hair helmet accessory? Go for it meazza--TD needs love too. Maybe I can find an old Mularkey Jersey to wear to the jets game....
  11. Non controversial??? Eric admitted that he and the other vets form an inner circle..its nothing short of shocking. Shame on 80 for breaking the news. I think TD is going to order a Code Red. Maybe Jack Nicholson will play TD in the movie...although Leslie Nielsen's probably a better fit.
  12. I can hear my mom now..."son, your eyes are bigger than your stomach"
  13. Thanks guys--that's the way I feel about the situation....
  14. Damn H2O...... That's what nailed Travis you know...hanging out at 7Eleven by the Dasani display case...
  15. Look at my avatar aj--what possible interest would I have in young booty at this stage in my life??........ I need snips not booty....
  16. Brett Fah vra changed the world We are only a game and a half out of first....and that's with JP hitting below the Mendoza line.... ( a sixty QB rating) Hope Terrence Murphy is okay.
  17. One difference is that Darren Howard's blindside on JP yesterday would have been a career ender for the tin man.....
  18. Cut him off at the knees and Flutie size him... I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination--but a lower release point--either repositioning the elbow or hanging on a millisecond longer before release-- would seem to be a key. Braves fans--maybe we can contract with Leo Mazzone to help JP...
  19. Shoulder surgery is what shelved him for the year two years ago. Hope it is not a recurrence--I think it was a rotator cuff type injury. Tim Anderson held up pretty well yesterday except on the last drive. The only upside in this is that it may be a chance to see what Sape can do.
  20. I agree it was significant Ned...but this team was sold to us as a team that wouldn't go south at the first sign of adversity...if it wasn't that play--the Saints would have found their groove soon enough. This team is simply not ready to play when they hit the field...the mental lapses, the blown assignments, the stupid penalties, the bad technique...its atrocious right now.... I think 9-7 will win this division--and the good thing is all these losses to NFC teams don't mean diddly in tie breakers...maybe like 1998 and last year, this team will turn it around....
  21. Yes, i mean ci, i mean whatever...
  22. I think its another outsourcing ploy. We need to move beyond the kicker positions and into position players with cheaper labor. Stop the salary escalation in the NFL... We have NAFTA, now we have NFLTA...
  23. Thanks Jim--jesus I can't even spell roja correctly...bad day...
  24. Were either of them "winded" during the fracas....maybe Shaud Williams and Tim Anderson could have stepped in...or maybe even the cool breeze for all winded folks--Duke Preston...
