  1. CL--he really didn't mean the cat thing...it was a momentary -- Bill Bennett type lapse of judgement.
  2. I am in North Carolina.....my dream is to have a summer and fall house in Buffalo in about 5 years...is that sick or what? The games are just so much more fun live at the Ralph. the Chiefs should have just about eliminated themselves by then with their D...
  3. Does this inlude the white hair helmet accessory? Go for it meazza--TD needs love too. Maybe I can find an old Mularkey Jersey to wear to the jets game....
  4. Non controversial??? Eric admitted that he and the other vets form an inner circle..its nothing short of shocking. Shame on 80 for breaking the news. I think TD is going to order a Code Red. Maybe Jack Nicholson will play TD in the movie...although Leslie Nielsen's probably a better fit.
  5. I can hear my mom now..."son, your eyes are bigger than your stomach"
  6. Thanks guys--that's the way I feel about the situation....
  7. Damn H2O...... That's what nailed Travis you know...hanging out at 7Eleven by the Dasani display case...
  8. Look at my avatar aj--what possible interest would I have in young booty at this stage in my life??........ I need snips not booty....
  9. Brett Fah vra changed the world We are only a game and a half out of first....and that's with JP hitting below the Mendoza line.... ( a sixty QB rating) Hope Terrence Murphy is okay.
  10. One difference is that Darren Howard's blindside on JP yesterday would have been a career ender for the tin man.....
  11. Cut him off at the knees and Flutie size him... I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination--but a lower release point--either repositioning the elbow or hanging on a millisecond longer before release-- would seem to be a key. Braves fans--maybe we can contract with Leo Mazzone to help JP...
  12. Shoulder surgery is what shelved him for the year two years ago. Hope it is not a recurrence--I think it was a rotator cuff type injury. Tim Anderson held up pretty well yesterday except on the last drive. The only upside in this is that it may be a chance to see what Sape can do.
  13. I agree it was significant Ned...but this team was sold to us as a team that wouldn't go south at the first sign of adversity...if it wasn't that play--the Saints would have found their groove soon enough. This team is simply not ready to play when they hit the field...the mental lapses, the blown assignments, the stupid penalties, the bad technique...its atrocious right now.... I think 9-7 will win this division--and the good thing is all these losses to NFC teams don't mean diddly in tie breakers...maybe like 1998 and last year, this team will turn it around....
  14. Yes, i mean ci, i mean whatever...
  15. I think its another outsourcing ploy. We need to move beyond the kicker positions and into position players with cheaper labor. Stop the salary escalation in the NFL... We have NAFTA, now we have NFLTA...
  16. Thanks Jim--jesus I can't even spell roja correctly...bad day...
  17. Were either of them "winded" during the fracas....maybe Shaud Williams and Tim Anderson could have stepped in...or maybe even the cool breeze for all winded folks--Duke Preston...
  18. The entire crowd is still waiting for the penalty kick from the first tackle... GGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL.... How do you say..."Hey Ref, where's the !@#$ing rojo card?" in spanish....
  19. Possible Headlines: Saints show Bills to be ain'ts Play calling a bunch of Mularkey Bills need extreme makeover: Team edition Bills ready to forget the Alamo JP Losman plays Davey Crockett Donahoe's debacle Donahoe thinking Hockey (after the game TD said everyone on the team was on thin ice)...
  20. I just read Marv's book--"Where would you rather be?" this week on flights to and from the West Coast...it was a wonderful read. Might be good tonic if you are feeling a bit down about this year's fortunes thus far. Relatively quick read for a 400 page book. His rich life, sense of humor, wit and ability to motivate make him a unique man. I found myself chuckling out loud a couple of times....there are so many great lines and stories--an example..he was talking about Glenn Parker and how intelligent and thoughtful he was as a player and person...Marv remembers "Parker was unique--instead of playing cards or listening to music on flights to and from road games, he spent most of his time reading, reading actual books." The book was a gift from my brother--thanks bro!!!
  21. Yep--if Tom Brady, Chris Chambers, Ronnie Brown, Doug Flutie, Adam Vinaterri, and a few more get hurt...we are back in this thing ;-)
  22. ESPN News just reported Pennington gone for the year. Confirmed by AP.
  23. .....and Knute, Frank, Lou...everyone by Gerry Faust and Bob Davie....
  24. They won't back down. They may not win this year...but I think it will be more competitive than say the normal 7 touchdown USC blowout.... Never know what can happen at home....the crowd...the divine intervention....
  25. I think significant breaking news like this belongs in the regular forum...he truly was a comic genius...but I can only tell you why he was a comic genius using the cone of silence...
