You are really Vince McMahon -- aren't you Tigre??? No if you were Vince--the legends would be mixed into the regular brakcet--and 60 year old men would be beating the pants off of 20 year old studs--like that could really happen...

I think MM's track record with player interfaces in difficult situations has been okay...the Mike Williams situation in camp last year was handled as well as can be expected and it ended up being the best year of a disappointing career; while I was suspect of the JP benching--he has been a better QB since he was reinserted in the line-up. Look at the two players in the most current cases: 1) Sam Adams--has had to be kicked in the ass his entire career. He wants to be a gap shooter and the system requires him to be a run stopper. Maybe he and his agent should have thought about that three years ago--but I don't remember a lot of demand for him at that time. He is enormously talented but aging. Last year the benching led him to the pro bowl--this year--another year older--a tough year for the team..its looking a lot like a guy who doesn't fit in the future plans and this probably bothers him greatly....leading to more whining... 2) E Moulds-There is no one on this team that I respect more. He has been through Kelly, Collins, AVP, Flutie, RJ, Drew, Holcomb, Billy Jo Holbert, JP--9 QB's in 10 years..without a doubt this has hurt his stats--but not his earning potential. He is still performing at a high level but has lost some of the ability to separate and beat the double. He can take one of two paths--be the elder statesman and cede #1 status to the new generation of receivers on the Bills or force a cut and try to be a #1 somewhere else...right now he is in that transition and players do not normally handle that transition well...MM is basically taking a hardline because of what he has seen regarding Eric's effort or how he interprets Eric's effort. I think from MM's perspective--its a lot more damaging to the team to let someone get away with less than maximum output than to confront it. If he allows laziness on the field--it sends a stronger message of mediocrity than the negatives of confronting Eric. Bottom line: I think too much is being made regarding the impact these two situations could have on MM's future employment status. His employment status will be determined by the quality of the effort and the results of these next four games and the other 56 guys on the team could care little about 2 aging vets on the downside of their careers who are collecting millions but feel they are being shafted and putting out less than maximum effort because of it.

Is it time to bring back a classic thread

If TD was really the son of satan--where is our temptation?...I mean isn't the goal of the Son of Satan to turn us all to the dark side? If he was really the Son of Satan--TD should be delivering wins and championships to force us all to sell our souls for a Super Bowl..if he is really the Son of Satan he's doing a !@#$ing sh------- job.... -
I think we should set up a bracket....Sam has to get through Jerry Gray; Mularkey and Tom Clements in the coaches bracket; Russ Brandon and Donahoe in the team administration bracket; JP versus Eric in the player bracket. Donahoe/Brandon winner faces Adams/Gray Winner JP/Eric Winner faces Mularkey/Clements winner Prediction--Adams versus Mularkey for the belt... Jim Kelly, Darryl Talley as special guest referees... This might be more compelling than Sunday's game....definitely higher revenue potential...

Settle it like men..don't have an 87 year old tennis player mediate...spearing contest at high noon in the practice facility--loser leaves town and retires from their profession...either way it will do wonders for team morale...

Sherman The only Sherman I want associated with the Bills is the nerdy kid who used to hang out with Mr. Peabody....oh wait--I forgot--he's our head coach and TD is Mr. Peabody... Maybe TD is an idiot savant--they just forgot the savant part...

Mr. Larry is an inside source of RTL's who is seldom off base in his predictions....he is like Chris Berman's cab driver during the John Butler era...... Mr Larry has a long track record of successful draft pick and other predictions--like Travis to the Titans... -
I still can't see moving TD to put in Modrak....you hire the guy who is running personnel when inadequte personnel choices is one of your major issues??? Can someone tell me why this is a good idea...

How about Steve Mariuchi for Head Coach ?
JoeF replied to Fan in San Diego's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would tend to agree Stuck...I really like Jim Tressel--but no pro experience is the biggest drawback--he has no network at the pro level to draw a staff...Ferentz, Trgovac and Fassel would probably end up being my top 3... I am really struggling with this part of the change--but you know if we bring in new leadership at the President/GM level--you cannot saddle them with the previous coaching staff...... -

Look at this year's hot/vogue teams.... NFC Atlanta- Mora, Jr Charlotte-Fox Giants-Coughlin Seattle-Holmgren Bears - Lovie Smith AFC Indy-Dungy Cincy-Lewis San Diego-Schottenheimer Denver-Shanahan Jacksonville-Del Rio There's no rhyme or reason--no young or old--no trend in terms of offense or defense--except that the young coaches (less than 6 years) seem have a D background and the experienced seem to trend toward an O background.. There is not a rule of thumb contrary to the black and white status theat some on the board try to put on this... So whom..... Honestly--I wouldn't mind this.... President- Russ Brandon GM/Football Operations-Bob Ferguson--get him from the Seahawks--Give him the authority that Holmgren won't let him have in Seattle--hopefully he still has a soft place in his heart for Ralph. HC - Choices: Dick LeBeau (he is the closest thing to Marv--failed in an impossible situation but an impressive guy); Dick Jauron; Kirk Ferentz; Jim Tressel; Jim Fassel; Mike Tgrovac (Panthers D Coordinator)... -
Must have been the old "bone" stunt.....

Simon and Garfunkel would kill our D with ---Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
-
He will be enjoying a nice severance that will be paying him for two years of sitting.....joining Rob Johnson and Mike Williams as the biggest beneficiaries of Ralph's benevolence to the unemployed
-
Wile E. Coyote---genius.....

I can buy this only partly Mad...we are talking about a guy who has shown nothing his entire NFL career...he attempted 59 passes in 5 years up until today..with a 44% completion percentage and 3 TD's and 5 INT's....I want to puke....Are we really THIS bad?
-
I am sorry...I just can't believe it...I knew coming in today we were not a good football team...but Sage Frickin' Rosenfels shouldn't even have a job in the NFL. I saw a post comparing Sage Frickin' Rosenfels to Frank Reich..folks I knew Frank Reich, I saw him play and Sage Frickin' Rosenfels is no Frank Reich.... Oh well--four games left...and JP is becoming more and more fun to watch...there is absolutely no reason to get conservative now----let the kid sling...get some more on film of him throwing that beautiful deep ball of his..it will set a tone for next year.
-
About half the people on your list may be in resume building mode..that is strong motivation...
-
It might be a sage move to bring in Rosenfels.... I heard he looked good a couple of days in camp. He was stylishly dressed with hair nicely combed.
-
Okay--what offense put on our uniforms???....did the Colts travel plans get screwed up?
-
He does have a promising second career as a matador.....say what you want about Josh Reed, but the darn kid is a willing blocker... I read something once about a vision problem that was not correctable. This was supposedly impacting his ability to pick up the ball and causing drops. Here is something from footballguys.com that mentions it... Peerless is item #1 Price struggled to make an impact in Atlanta for a variety of reasons. He was not physical enough to be a true #1 WR, Vick often struggled with his accuracy as a passer, and there were reports that Price had vision problems which were affecting his play. Reuniting in Dallas could be a great fit for him as he's already had his best season with Bledsoe at QB, and players like Keyshawn Johnson and Jason Witten should draw most of the defensive attention so he won't have to face top CBs or many double teams. When he is given time, Bledsoe still throws one of the best deep balls in the league so Price and Terry Glenn should make inviting targets if the offensive line can hold up.
