I saw OJ at the Niagara Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, Tuesday night.

ok so John did get excited when Nate took back the kick for the TD, he almost lost his voice when they came back from commercial...LOL but generally John doesn't get all that excited.

I had was just wondering what everyone thought about John Murphy's play by play? I find personally he isn't very enthusiastic when the Bills have the ball, like if someone tunes in for the first time, it would be very hard to tell what team he is behind. I personally think he is a great colour guy, but not made to be the main guy. Alex is great, and has some great insights, but he is way to monotone.... what are your thoughts?

Well maybe I am biased a little because I wanted to get the job...LOL (I am a play by play guy myself), but I think it may get better, I am sure it is quite an adjustment for John, after doing colour for so many years. Alex has been a really nice addition though, giving us some really good insights from inside the huddle. I do agree on the delay, It wasn't too bad over here in Canada, if I put it on channel 4, but if I put on the game on the NFL Ticket channel, it was really brutal, like you say, close to 5 secs D

Any thoughts on how John and Alex are doing so far. Personally I think John makes a great colour guy, but not play by play. He doesn't seem to get into the play calling as much as he could. I realize it is difficult to follow in the foot steps of the great Van Miller, but he just seems to be a little too laid back or something.

I have a question, I am surprised no one has brought this up. On the 4th and goal play I noticed that Travis extended the ball as he was stopped, and if you watched the replay it appeared that he possibly had the ball across the plane....but the replay was cut short because the Raiders were really quick to snap the ball. if you look close on the live shot you can even see Travis extending the ball, and it appears to be very close to being across. I don't know about you all, but I thought they should have challenged it.
