I will agree with you that if anyone can make Drew play above what he has shown the last 2 and a half years--Parcells is probably the coach to do it. This being said, if Drew leads them to a championship, Parcells deserves a special Nobel prize, Time man of the year, Sportsman of year, and maybe a grammy, emmy and people's choice award for resurrecting the dead....and changing the world...

I am shocked that NC is not in the top 10....they eat a lot of hush puppies (not shoes--think fried dough for all you yankees) and ground pig down east. Its the hearty folks in the Mountains that keep us out of the top 10--I think we should assign them to Tennessee--move them down and us up...
-
But 2 and a half more years of evidence of futility came with this version of Drew....at least TD had the sympathy factor from the Mo Lewis hit and the Steelers AFC championship game performance to lean on... Drew may quickly learn that Cowboy fans are just as critical as Bills fans with one big difference--a full gun rack in the back of the pick-up...

Drew has well documented weaknesses that are easy to exploit--slow decision making/slow tracking through his progressions, lack of the intangible "feel for the rush", slow starter when he decides to run--his first two steps are really plodding..those are the key two steps when under a rush. The D can always send more people than the O can block with when a QB has these weaknesses--and with Drew--the vast majority of the time--he can not exploit any mismatches or one on one coverages sending more people creates. I was shocked after the '03 game against the Cowboys, when the Bills had the following sequence of drives in the second half, that Parcells would be interested: Buffalo Bills at 13:05, (1st play from scrimmage 13:00) 1-10-BUF 40 (13:00) 20-T. Henry right guard to BUF 40 for no gain (96-E.Ekuban). 2-10-BUF 40 (12:23) 11-D. Bledsoe pass to 80-E. Moulds to DAL 49 for 11 yards (31-R.Williams). Slant from right end. Coach Parcells is sniffing a bit too much of his own genius or is preoccupied by his man breasts if he thinks the promise land is anywhere in his future.

Can we take Gandy off our poop list?
JoeF replied to buffalo mike's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bill, this from the Buffalo News today (Allen Wilson story with Gandy in the headline) made me feel a little bit better. Gandy has every reason to keep playing well. He's getting a surprising push from second-year pro Jason Peters, a former tight end with great athletic ability and potential. Peters had an outstanding night against KGB and Green Bay's other defensive ends. BTW, lets have just a little faith in our lineman from Notre Dame....even though he played for Bob Davie--he might still be okay. -
Just finished a 14 play hurry up drive, with two or three penalties. Played with Alex Smith, 49ers rookie QB and top NFL draft pick, at U of U. RIP--

its obvious...all retatta, all the time diet....

I know it doesn't help now #89--but if he is a ticket broker, see if he will send you tickets (priority mail) for your friends to a future game without charging you shipping and at the same bid price. That would kind of make this right in my mind. After you get the future game tickets--give him positive feedback and describe how he rectified the situation. Sorry your friends won't get to see the game live.

Your cat would be thinking --jeez I didn't know we mated with humans??? And look at the results--fugly sticks...mom--make him go away....

New Injury Report: Jerry Sullivan- Carpal Tunnel, diarreah of the mouth- PUP Mike Schoop - Brain Dead, upset stomach from relistening to his own show- Unfortunately, Probable By the way--I concur with Labatt--we can't paint this with a broad brush, guys like Allen Wilson, Mark Gaughan do a great job and their work is very much appreciated..
-
Its worth a listen on bb.com. The deadpan delivery made it even funnier. Hey Benny -- stay away from the pole beans and broccoli..

Wonder if Vermeil cried when he found out?
-
Rumor has it that, like his passes, Todd's punches during the fight were overthrown or short and after getting hit the first time the "deer in the headlights look" that is his trademark returned.

Jerry Sullivan's article today on the lack of injury information coming from the Bills and it relating to: 1) Paranoia 2) Not making the playoffs for 5 years 3) General disdain for the press He presents one side of this argument. We all know Sullivan is not a huge fan of current management, begrudging tolerance to sometimes outright hatred is pretty much his spectrum of opinion. TD's comments focus on HIPAA and mostly competitive advantage. I don't really care if the team gives the fans details on injuries--they tell us whether a person is out for the season or not--that's okay with me. I don't really care what's wrong with Roscoe's wrist, an estimate of how long he will be out-I'd rather hear about who's meeting, exceeding or falling short of expectations at camp. Sullivan has to write to sell papers so conspiracy theories work I guess..and I understand reporters have a job to do and this policy somewhat impedes it--but I give today's diatribe a big yawn...

Its the classic answer to the question "Hey Eddie, when did you realize it was time to hang it up?" Kind of like hanging up posting on the wall when someone calls you on posting something overemotional and dumb on a thread.....but alas like many pro athletes who stay past their prime--some of us can't get the message...
-
You could juke Eddie Robinson out of his socks....that had to have been the slowest juke in the history of the NFL. The molasses juke.
-
God Bless you Smuvtalker. You have the potential to change the world. Can you injure the entire Steelers roster before the next matchup with the Bills? It may take that to secure victory.

A 6-10 season would be very interesting in NY....there's not the best relationship between coaches, front office and ownership already....6-10 might lead to a workplace violence scenario unfolding..and lots of fingerpointing..

Dealing with the media and fans-really good, his approach is understated, matter of fact and not cliche driven. He is a little cloak and dagger with team information/injury updates--but I think he views this as competitive advantage. Motivational-I think he has won this team over big time. The guys like playing for him. He seems to have built up a lot of trust just by being honest--even when the message is difficult (like the one's he's had to deliver to Mike Williams, Drew and Travis). Strategy-Risk taking is good..scheming to beat an opponent with equal and/or better talent is much better--jury is still out here in my mind. Bum Phillips once said about Don Shula--he could take his'ins and beat your'ins and he could take your'ins and beat his'ins--Mularkey has to prove he is that kind of coach. Game management-I think he learned a ton last year and you will see it on the field this year.. So I am really glad he is our coach--much better choice for where the Bills were than Siefert , Coughlin, Jauron, and some of the others. It still would have been interesting to see what Fassell could have done--but the Giants apparently gave Ralph a bad personal recommendation (obviously firing him was not the best professional recommendation). Is he the next great coach--jury is still way out...

Holy crap. JP just threw two ducks in row in seven on seven. He cussed loudly enough for Sister Mary Dogood sitting in the front row of the bleachers to hear him. He is done..he immediately went into the fetal position sucking his thumb and Dorenbos came over and peed on him..film at 11...

Drew either needs a hug or a pee pee session with Rockpile....you know a pee pee session with the Rock is akin to the old father/son lifesavers commercials... Drew needs to take RESPONSIBILITY for his ACTIONS and face the CONSEQUENCES..like a MAN
