They could save $15 million by cutting Wilkerson....the thing about the Jets is they haven't made the decisions the Bills made to gain room to keep Glenn and Cogs. It may haunt them.... Decide who your core is and then work to keep them. I understand Fitz is on the bubble of core -- but they basically tell their fans we are on a 4 year rebuild if they don't retain him...Geno starts next year; they are forced to draft a rook; they go 4-12 next year and they pick in the top 5 -- they nab say Chad Kelly -- go 4-12 again and then 7-9 and then maybe contend in 2019. The Bills have seen this repeated 5 times -- Bledsoe, Losman, Edwards, Fitz, EJ--over 16 years...not pretty. The Jets were still an almost playoff team without Wilkerson for the critical part of last years season...No one will trade anything substantial for him because the Jets have no leverage -- they need to get rid of that base salary...Just man up and cut him..

Can't fault this-- 2 concussions last year and the 3rd and 4th of his career...he has memories from those last two games he can pass to his kids and grandkids. Good luck kid!

Watch the market for Darron Lee, Su'a Cravens, Miles Killebrew in the draft...all 6'+ -- all can run-- all 220-235...I would love for the Bills to get one or even two of these hybrid strong safety/cover linebackers...

I heard the Bills introduced a "Long Jump Competition" option instead of overtime at the last competition committee meeting. John Blake used to be my neighbor in Durham -- right during the time of the scandal...despite all surrounding him a really fun person to talk football with and genuinely cordial. If it means anything -- the Cowboys basically hired him the day he was available... Not sure I wouldn't do some of the same things he did for his kids at Carolina money wise. I would recommend getting to know the diversity of Bruce...I have to admit I felt a little sold out when Born in the USA pulled him into megastar status -- but the core of Bruce is wonderfully worded Ballads (usually about love lost or a life of hard times) and Slamming Rock Tunes (usually about cars or driving) .. he is a generational poet who happens to play a mean guitar...I can't give you a single album to focus on -- but run through Born To Run (1975), Greetings From Asbury Park, and The River...The River is amazing in its diversity...

Phoenix last night was amazing...Took the stage 7:50 PM and we left at 11:30 PM after Shout!! To which of course I sang Let's Go Buffalo!!!! Wednesday, Gilmore signs a deal that nets the Bills about $5 million in space in 2016 - 5 years $52.5 million; By the end of the month, Glenn signs a deal that is 5 years, $58 million and nets Bills another $5 million in space.
